Had a chemical in January so I’m also out for October! Every time the period shows up I calculate a new due date (I know not accurate!) - 3rd November ❤️

This is month 10 of trying for me, and the first month I’m taking clomid after fertility consultation. Hoping for a miracle at this point!

Hey!

I’m CD8 of cycle 2 trying for DC#2

Last ttc journey was quick (1st cycle mc then 2nd successful). Still breastfeeding DC#1 so not sure how much this is going to effect ttc this time!

Good luck everyone!

hoping this is a lucky thread!

Ps @AussieMum888 im EXACTLY the same as you with the spotting too! Undergoing tests and a scan this month to rule things out as I’ve convinced myself it’s why we’ve not been successful already!

Hey ladies, I’m CD6 TTC #1 cycle 15.
HSG in early January was normal, OH had sperm analysis done on the same day. We go back to fertility on 15/02 so should get all formal results from bloods and sleep analysis….
Im of to buy my wedding dress today… going to look for one which would compliment a bump in July if I had one…

@Sierra26 it's so annoying isn't it!! I've got a cervical ectropian which may be causing but but also feel it's impacting on my chances of getting a BFP!! Have you always spotted before AF?

Hope the scans and tests go well xx

@Superstorefan123 hello! Sorry to hear about your chemical :( it really is heartbreaking. I use fertility friend and it calculates what my next due date would be if I ovulate on their predicted date. Hope Clomid helps you along! Were you prescribed because of irregular ovulation by any chance? like you I am on cycle 10 and the GP said treatment is available before going down the IVF route so I wonder what she meant?

@AussieMum888 welcome hope this is the month we get our November baby :D :D Baby dust to you

@JSP21 hello :) wow yeah that was quick hopefully history will repeat itself and you fall quickly again. are your cycles back and regular now?

@Sierra26 hello :D Hoping for a lucky thread too! Ive been lurking around since August and lots of bfps from lovely ladies since so statistically there will be some here I am sure

@Ncl31 congratulations on your impeding nuptials, so much to plan and think about. I am sure it will all be normal but so many options nowadays in case they aren't. Crossing my fingers for you it will all return normal results

CD3 for me, so a while to go until I enter my fertile week. Any tips for passing the time in the meantime?

@NatGee I visited a gynaecologist for heavy bleeding post miscarriage (my first in May 2022 - luckily resolved now!) and she prescribed it. I do have cystic ovaries (though no hormonal PCOS) and a slightly irregular cycle (normally between 30-35 but sometimes longer) so I think that might have been the reason for the prescription.

Honestly, I was sceptical when it was prescribed as I definitely ovulate and it seemed quite soon but she said after 6 months most people in their 20s will have conceived so it couldn’t hurt to give it a go! Good luck with any treatment your GP recommends!

@JJM13 Fingers crossed and baby dust this is your month! I BBT and OPK pretty religiously so got to know my cycle well. Even though it is slightly stresful I find both very useful in pinpointing ovulation. Do you have a brand in mind you will be using?

@Superstorefan123 Ah sorry to hear of your miscarriage :( glad it is resolved now! Understood, Clomid can only help rather than hinder. Definitely worth a go. All my results are normal, no PCOS or endo, fairly regular cycles and all looks OK inside so I do wonder what theyll say? We shall see :)

@Ncl31 congratulations, enjoy wedding planning! I’m still on the come down from mine in Oct last year… :)

@NatGee I love the view that statistics are on our side! I always find the time passes quite quick in lead up to FW as you feel optimistic, testing LH etc, first luteal week goes quick too as there’s nothing you can do, then final week is more slow/stressful as you start symptom spotting and crossing fingers!

@JJM13 i’m going in to cycle 4 too, hope it’s a lucky one :) my four best friends ALL got pregnant really quickly last year so it’s all around me!

@AussieMum888 I’ve had this since my early 20s I think, it was reason I came off the pill and switched to implant, but came off that years ago due to it making the spotting worse. Since not using any hormonal contraception I’d been assuming first day spotting was first day of period… how wrong I was! Turns out I didn’t know anything about my body 🙈 starting to understand my cycles better now and really hoping it doesn’t mean any problems. Will share any interesting info I might get via the tests etc xx

Hello @NatGee thanks for starting this thread, I've never wrote on MN before (just read) but I'd like to jump in and find TTC pals.

I'm ttc no2, DD is 13. The odds are not in my favour as I'm 38, very overweight, and have PCOS. Also a lesbian, doing AI with a friend of a friend, so only get one shot a month. But, giving it a go anyway because I want another child so much I could explode with longing.

I'm CD5 and will be using the Clearblue ovulation sticks. I've got an appointment with a gynaecologist next week to have a look around, I have been having heavy periods but we'll see what she says.

Good luck everyone, glad to be on board!

@Sierra26 youre very right - the tww is definitely the worse time, but it's not really a two week wait anymore really is it for so many of us now we have these ultrasensitive tests at our disposal. sucks to play catch up, have all your friends had their babies yet?

@SaltedChoco hello, ah hope you find your tribe amongst us :) well you say the odds arent in your favour but if you've already had a child then chances are you'll be able to conceive again. I hope it doesn't take too long - all you need is one shot a month anyway! Are you coming up to your first cycle? Good luck with the gynae appointment - is that through the NHS?

@Dragonfly91 hello! crossing everything for you this time rounds its a sticky bean for you :) How old is your DS now?

@Superstorefan123 crossing everything cycle 10 is the one! I will be trying the fertilily - loads of ladies on MN saying they conceived the month they used it that it'd be foolish not to give it a go. Bit pricey at £32 but can be used for up to 6 cycles.

@JJM13 congrats to you!!!

@Sierra26 exact same story. it didn't stop me getting pregnant first time around, altho it did take 9 months so I was convinced it was the reason it took slightly longer. Let's keep in touch post scans etc and wishing you best of luck for this cycle :)

@NatGee thanks for starting this group, it's so helpful chatting to ladies in the exact same boat, and as you say statistically there should be some BFPs in this thread this month !!

I really struggle with the tWW and not testing too soon, does anyone have any tips on how to cope with it??

Baby dust to you all xx
