We were just under a year and while yes, it would've been amazing for things to work straight away, I know up to a year is totally normal and nothing to worry about. There are people that take 3-4 years, I'd never complain to/in front of them.
Felt kind of bad one day when I actually called someone out on their thread 😬 They wrote a long ranty message back at me and I felt like a horrible human, probably deserved that messaged though, I fully admit. Learning to just walk away from stuff like this now. Which brings me onto the next topic...@FfoxRedN I found a part of you in me and made some good decisions last night to let go of the old grudges. It's definitely refreshing. DH is so easy going in life, genuinely not having a single bad thought about anyone, seeing the best in everyone. I thought he deserved better than a grumpy wife!🤠

ScrantonDunderMifflin · 16/02/2023 10:33

The most shocking one to me is still someone who conceived on the second month and then compared themselves for a person who took 4 years + a round of IVF 😳 I don't know how this person managed not to slap them 😂
@LuckyMoonstone I know it will be a long day for you today, hopefully you're busy enough so it flies by 🤩

LuckyMoonstone · 16/02/2023 10:40

@ScrantonDunderMifflin you wonder what goes through peoples heads sometimes to make them so tactless! Not super busy today but it’s quiet enough that I can do my odd bits whilst also browsing mumsnet and twitter 😅

Indianna2006 · 16/02/2023 10:41

@ScrantonDunderMifflin some people are just born dicks and thats that 😂😂

Deffo! Life is too short for resentment or grudges.
I’ve changed a lot through things that have happened to me. Having loads of trauma and loss and heart ache makes you reevaluate life. Losing my dad so suddenly and having no chance to say goodbye was just utterly life changing for me. An I’ll never quite be the same happy go lucky person.

So now I try let go of resentment. Give people the benefit of the doubt. And yes we all get angry but let it go and move on. And try find the positives in life even in really shit and hard times. Because there is always positives to find. And it helps you forward and has been a massive life changing tool for me.

prob seems like I’m some happy positive guru 😂😂🙈 I’m really not. I still love throwing my toys out the pram ha.
I just learnt how much negative thinking led me into a very dark black hole. And I much prefer it out here in the light 😊

Indianna2006 · 16/02/2023 10:41

@LuckyMoonstone hope your day flys although I know it likely won’t 🙄🤞🏼🤞🏼 everything crossed for you.

LuckyMoonstone · 16/02/2023 11:36

Im so annoyed! It’s my birthday on Tuesday and I couldn’t book it off because we’ve had an important meeting scheduled for that day for ages. Found out yesterday afternoon that it’s been moved! And too late to book it off now 😖 would have just been nice to have had a day of chilling at home with DS at nursery. Oh well.

LuckyMoonstone · 16/02/2023 17:53

Scan was fine :) measuring 10 weeks on the dot. Baby was asleep upside down 😅

bringmearainbow · 16/02/2023 17:55

@LuckyMoonstone ahhh yay that awesome news ❤️

MrsJGrealish · 16/02/2023 17:55

@LuckyMoonstone ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

monsteramunch · 16/02/2023 17:58

Ah @LuckyMoonstone that's such lovely news!! Flowers

LuckyMoonstone · 16/02/2023 18:23

Thanks all! I still feel like I’ve got to get through that 12 weeks hurdle though 😬

ScrantonDunderMifflin · 16/02/2023 18:30

@LuckyMoonstone awww ❤️

calimc83 · 16/02/2023 18:30

@LuckyMoonstone amazing news lovely 🥰 xx

bunnykins123 · 16/02/2023 19:59

@LuckyMoonstone such lovely news, really happy for you! 💕

BudgetBuster · 16/02/2023 20:05

@LuckyMoonstone I've never been so happy for an Internet stranger 😂

LuckyMoonstone · 16/02/2023 20:05

I’ve got to tell my mom I’m pregnant tomorrow. She’s taking me out for my birthday (a surprise, I don’t know what we are doing) and there’s no way I can have any reasonable excuse for not drinking on a bday outing with my mom 😅 wish I didn’t have to because I wanted to keep it secret from everyone for as long as I could get away with. I love her but she can be very over involved in my life and I know she’ll be ringing me every damn day to ask how I am (nice of her I know but very annoying!) and I wanted to put that eventuality off for as long as possible 😂

Indianna2006 · 16/02/2023 20:07

@LuckyMoonstone yay!! So pleased for you.

when is your dating scan? Have you been given that date yet? xx

FfoxRedN · 16/02/2023 20:07

@LuckyMoonstone oh thank goodness it's all ok 🥰 I'm so so happy for you 🥹 xxx
@ScrantonDunderMifflin it's funny, I'm really not that great of a person. I caught myself today being really bitchy and indiscreet about someone to my boss, you'd have been appalled at me 😂😂😂.
xxx

LuckyMoonstone · 16/02/2023 20:38

@Indianna2006 2 weeks tomorrow so not long to wait :)

Indianna2006 · 16/02/2023 20:56

@LuckyMoonstone deffo not long at all 😊 plus soon then 2nd trimester which is much nicer.

3rd trimester though second baby. Wow. None of my friends told me how much more pressure there is because you’ve obv already given birth. It’s beyond a joke. My pelvic floor is obv not quite what is was pre baby 5 years ago 😅 on I plod. Quite literally 😂🙈🙈

TheBirdintheCave · 16/02/2023 21:09

@LuckyMoonstone Yayyyy I'm so glad it went well! 😬😬

LuckyMoonstone · 16/02/2023 21:35

@Indianna2006 oh no is it that bad? I never even thought about it! Although I do recall that in my second pregnancy (that I lost) the pelvic girdle pain started way earlier than it did in the first 😟 not looking forward to that!

Indianna2006 · 16/02/2023 21:41

@LuckyMoonstone I felt like I sprung around like a young cocker spaniel when I was pregnant with DD until at least 38 weeks. Then I slowed down. And it got uncomfy.
It’s heavy and uncomfy already…at 31 weeks. BUT I am 5 years older. And think also the pressure on a pelvic floor which has given birth is perhaps somewhat different to one that hasn’t..lol.

I thought I’d get bad PGP but it’s only been very very mild so super thankful for that. As it can be awful bless you. All worth it tho 🥰🥰

emhope · 16/02/2023 21:48

@LuckyMoonstone so pleased the scan went well. Amazing news ❤️ I had bad pelvic girdle pain in the pregnancy with my son, and the last few days I swear I have started feeling twinges of it already 😣

I’m also loving hearing all the positive ways of being in life on this thread and about letting go of resentment. Needed to hear this and also need to take note 😆 I’ve had some issues with my ex recently and been getting really worked up about it all but definitely need to try and let it go!

theblueflowers · 16/02/2023 21:50

@LuckyMoonstone wonderful news! 10 weeks is such a milestone and not long to go till 12 weeks. So pleased that all went well.
