So I'm 6dpo at a push 7dpo (I felt ovulation late the day of the peak) and obviously have very little chance this month, if any. But I don't feel well. I'm very tired and boobs are hurting on and off. Did an IC, and a lovely grey line presented itself immediately. I literally never learn with these tests 🙄

Its my 1st cycle but not first pregnancy 😂 I had a suspected CP last month as AF was a week late and I had faint positives followed by negatives then a weird period that was heavy but shorter than usual. We were not trying but gutted so hint why we are here this month. Unfortunately if we don't fall this month we won't continue TTC this year due to commitments and travel at the end of the year which being pregnant for would be a nightmare. (my idea of nightmare could change if I don't fall this month tho lol but DP will take convincing...)

My boobs have been agony since about 5dpo and last night I started getting shooting pains through them both but that's since stopped. I was cramping a few days ago but now I just have a constant ache along with groin discomfort. Last night my birth canal/cervix felt burny like cystitis starting or similar but nothing this morning. I'm tired too but I suspect that could be my low mood.

With my previous pregnancies I had a BFP quite clearly by 11/12DPO with slight hints of one from 9DPO. So far I have nada, aside from a major squinter at 9DPO but clear negatives on FRERs since.

@TheBirdintheCave actually lol at hiding a pot in a cupboard. I have done that this month and hid the jar (lidded!) behind the loo 😂

@TheBirdintheCave the one step ones, I think I bought about 50 before Christmas 🙄 so if I was gonna waste anything it would be those

@TheBirdintheCave and as if matters aren't bad enough with me wasting tests i decided to track lh levels on Sunday just to see. Yep I'm a headcase run @OnNaturesCourse run far away 🤣🤪

🤣 This is my kinda thread.

In the past hour I've got almost stop you in your tracks pelvic pain from hip to hip. It's like AF starting but 10x worse and not in waves of cramp. I'm considering taking painkillers for it. Argh.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Our bodies need a little light that just pings on when we've implanted and are pregnant 😂💡

I had a migraine after work on Saturday night so I'm chalking my exhaustion up to that and will test at a more appropriate time with a better test. This is sensible me talking now..let's see how long this lasts 🙄

I'm not being sensible today and I'm off to get more tests because of these pains which could very well just be me needing a BM lol.

So it just checked in the box of 25miu tests to make sure I had one left and I DON'T 😂 There's me thinking it was a two pack that my husband bought and it was actually only a single. Good job I looked or I'd have nothing to test with on Friday.

@TheBirdintheCave 🤣🤣 men do!! honesty the amount of times I've sold singles to a man. Now I'm like 'are you sure it's not that much extra for a double' they eye me up suspiciously like I've shares in clear blue now 🙄

I never trust my DP to pick up tests 😂 he once thought my ovulation sticks were tests.

I've been and restocked today. I now have 5 cheapie ones from boots, 2 boots own 5 days before and 2 FRER.

And I'm not buying anymore this cycle. (famous last words?)

I think @TheBirdintheCave if your testing when af is due or late you don't need FMU 🤔 or so I've heard anyway 😂 so maybe no need to hide a wee pot 🙊

@OnNaturesCourse haha a notification light would be amazing 😂 tbf it would just be good if there was a clear you are pregnant symptom instead of them just all being the same as AF 🤦🏼‍♀️ oooh what tests you gonna get?

@bringmearainbow That is a good point... I don't normally wait until AF is due so it never occurred to me that I might be able to pee at any time 😂 I have a feeling it will still feel wrong to waste the good stuff though 😂

@bringmearainbow I'm a good saleswoman. They are all talked into buying a double 🤣 We only sell the weeks ones atm so obviously will need another 🤷‍♀️ it would nearly be rude not to. I should invest in clearblue right enough 🤔 no FRERs unfortunately no one where I work cares enough to know early 🙈

@TheBirdintheCave 😂 I have only tested once after AF and that's was because I got home and realised my period was 2 days late literally ran to Tesco got a cb and it came up straight away 🙈 afternoon wee after I'd been drinking at the pub 🫣 thankfully only one glass of wine as I was DD 😂

@MrsJGrealish ahhhh all your local women must be very grateful for your sales skills 🤣 I've only ever seen frer in boots don't actually know anywhere else that sells them 🤷🏼‍♀️

@bringmearainbow I wish I could turn off the part of my brain that remembers when AF is due 😂 Even when we started trying for our son back in 2018 I was still hyper vigilant about it.

I keep bringing up the natural tries vs IVF with husband and still neither of us can make a decision but the closer I get to AF the more I just want to press ahead.

I had a really nice dream we had a baby girl last night which just made everything worse 🙄

@TheBirdintheCave well tbf we were not trying when we've been actively trying I'm aware of everything 🤣 always been a serial tester with DS I started at 8dpo. I honestly didn't think anything of it we had dtd only once that month because Dh had an op 🙈 I just randomly noticed my app said 2 days late 🙊 think I had clicked into it by accident clearly not taking much notice at all when I was inputting my temp that morning 🙄

Oooh it's so tough if it was me I'd give myself a time frame of X months and if no luck go ahead

@bringmearainbow Originally that was the plan but then I said that in February too (that we'd give it six months and then do IVF in July) and then we got pregnant with the first MMC. After that we were excited that it had only taken three months so decided to keep trying naturally as it might be quick again. In November the plan was to keep going until March 2023 and then have IVF but then we got pregnant with the second MMC.

I just feel like I keep saying 'Oh but let's try a little longer' and it just doesn't work out :( I should have done IVF in July like we originally planned.

@TheBirdintheCave it's such a personal choice and a lot of money so I can understand the hesitance. Praying this is your cycle 🙏 lovely xx

@MrsJGrealish Thank you :) I really don't think it will be. I already had quite a lot of symptoms at this point last time so I'm fully expecting AF to arrive on Friday.

And yes, it is expensive :/ Not as expensive at it could be though as thankfully we won't need the extra £1.5k for ICSI now.
