TWW 1dpo today - who's with me?

Hello!

Im just at the start of my TWW!

TTC cycle 1 (unofficially 6months)
Baby number 2 (DD is 2.5yrs old)
CD 18
Cycle length approx 25-29days long
1DPO today
AF due approx 31/1

Me and DH have been unofficially TTC baby number 2 for about 6months, so basically not been using any protection but not tracking my cycles either and just leaving it up to fate. However this month I've been doing OPKs and got a positive test on Wednesday and then a spike in my BBT this morning so pretty sure I can pin point my ovulation at some point yesterday putting me at about 1dpo today! DH and I have been DTD regularly throughout my fertile window this month so feeling hopeful!

Absolutely no symptoms. With all 4 of my girls I didn't get a positive test until after AF was due, so I wouldn't expect any different this time around if I am. Its just such a looking wait tho!!!!! 2 tiny little weeks 🤣

Well ladies I’ve cried hard at the new Halifax advert this afternoon TWICE!! Now obviously I’m reading far too much into that…3 days to go and I’ll probably give in and take an early test x

Hey! Welcome @Hmeeg and @Mrsrobinsonx! Sorry about your CP in November @Mrsrobinsonx is this your first cycle trying since then? I had a CP when TTC my DD, literally the next cycle after my CP I fell pregnant.

So last month my cycle was 25days and I'm currently on CD24 of this cycle so I'm thinking AF could come any day now really, though I'm expecting this cycle to be longer as I didn't ovulate until CD16 or 17 I think. Currently only 7DPO. I've been feeling really tired the last day or so but quite honestly that could just be a normal AF symptom. How's everyone else getting on?

im feeling ok, had a couple of little cramps today and I know I shouldn’t have but I had the urge to pee on something so I did an OPK which is positive at 1.57? You seem to be the queen of OPKs 🤣 have you ever done one before AF? AF isn’t due for another week? I shouldn’t have done it because now I’m overthinking it!
@Stephla84 it’s funny you should say that because I’ve cried non stop for two days straight, like proper baby cried 🙈 I’ve even given myself a headache and blocked nose, just feel so emotional. I don’t know what to think in all honesty

Ohhh @MrsSB2023 I totally get this. I feel a lot more emotional, adverts, music, making my lunch wrong 😂 the tears appear! I’ve got myself down a right rabbit hole. The last 2 days I have had immense cramps (normally do when AF as have fibroids). Massive surge in thin, clear CM. The cramps strangely have made me so hopeful but I’m trying to calm down and chill. Hope your not feeling to low x

Oooooo @MrsSB2023 I have no idea! I have heard that a positive LH surge around AF could be akin to a BFP pregnancy test but I don't know how true that is! Tbf I normally stop taking OPKs a few days after my surge as they get fainter and fainter so I've never actually taken one close to AF, may be worth doing a PG test just to check? How many DPO are you now? Maybe you're actually only just ovulating now and that's why you've got a positive OPK! I'd get down to some BDing tonight just to be sure 😂

@Stephla84 I've been a bit teary the last day or two too but that's normal for me around AF so who knows 🤷🏼‍♀️

I remember when falling PG with DD that I was positive I was out that month and that AF was about to arrive as all my symptoms felt exactly like AF! So blooming confusing! Still we're coming close and closer to the end of the TWW now! Not long until we can start testing 🤞🏻

@Carysmatic I’m 9DPO tomorrow, definitely don’t think I’m ovulating CM is really creamy and I had loads of EWCM when I was actually ovulating. Apparently you can get an LH surge before AF and if you’re pg too. I’m going to hold out until Saturday when I’ll be 10DPO. I’m scared to do a test 😂 I can’t cope with a negative at the moment especially feeling so emotional I’ll wait til I feel better.

@MrsSB2023 so basically an LH surge before AF could be a sign of being PG and also a sign of AF! Well that's not very helpful! No less confusing at any rate 😂 I'm definitely with you on not feasting too early, I couldn't cope with a negative result 😭 at least for the next few days before AF shows I can have hope 🤞🏻✨

Hey! No I actually ovulated a couple of weeks later so I’ve had 2 periods since then (2 cycles I guess) with no luck yet.

I’d definitely say your period will be at least another week if you’re only 7dpo.
I’m now officially in the 2ww but not planning on doing any tests unless I’m late this month 🙈 x

I actually did an opk last month instead of pregnancy test a few days before I came on and it was definitely negative like barely a line. I have heard a positive can mean pregnancy, but also I’d dtd just incase it could be ovulation? Unless you’re sure it’s already happened 🤣🤞🏻 x

I can’t DTD hubby is in London working (4 hours away) 😂

@MrsSB2023 ive heard of the opk being used as an early pt it worked for me once but once I got a positive and it was a surge pre AF so I’m not being very helpful am I 🙃

@Sophie3839 ermmm I’m normally quite dramatic tbf but normally in a ‘why is everything and everyone annoying me’ way rather than tears! 😂 though I guess it’s not completely out of character. Which is what I guess we have got to remind ourselves off when symptom spotting…( which is my new favourite pastime by the way!) how you doing? X

Oh right here with you on the symptom spotting. Still got frequent urination, hungry, and think I can smell better but all of these can be pms haha. so long to go! I might test at the weekend but it’s prob still to early. Also don’t have any of the early tests as I thought I got one and just rechecked the packet and it’s not! Boo

Hey ladies, just checking in I'm 10po starting to drive myself crazy with symptom spotting, I had cramps 1-7dpo and no cramps now.

latest symptoms 8-9dpo for me has been fatigue but I started a new job so that could be the reason too, I also noticed yesterday my sense of smell was heightened and waking up past few days hungry I was also very bloated this week but that has settled. I felt a little emotional this week and a bit irritated (I do get irritated before Af) so this isn't anything new and I'm also very sensitive so these aren't really new for me.

AF is due Sunday, I have no tests thankfully I'm really really going to try to hold off until one day after AF is due but I can feel my mind just focusing on this constantly 🫣🫣

Honestly so grateful for this group, it can all get a bit much especially when u haven't told friends or family 💕💕💕

So difficult not to symptom stop, especially as AF approaches and symptoms of AF can be so similar to AF too! So confusing.

That being said I've woken up this morning feeling very similar to how I feel in the lead up to AF, woke in the night with night sweats which I often get before and with AF, lower back ache and a heavy feeling in my lower tummy. Fatigue, again which I get with AF and a headache! Also feeling really bloated which I also get just before AF, so I'm not feeling very hopeful this month!

I can’t keep my eyes open. Fell asleep watching the telly 2 nights in a row. Some mild cramp and twinges yesterday I’m 7dpo today. The urge to test is insane!!

@Carysmatic - you still have hope not out until your out but like you say it's so confusing because symptoms are similar.

@Babydustthisyear ive had similar symptoms to you except I’ve been tired but had insomnia 😩 so annoying. 10dpo eeek you’re close to testing Sunday approaches 🤗

I’ve had the bloating going on too @Myperfectchaos and started to get a runny nose now too so think I’m just Ill which would explain the needing to wee lots with cold/flu

@Carysmatic I can’t say I’ve had night sweats but def gone hot and cold but I think I’m Ill so that’s prob not helpful info 🤷🏼‍♀️🤭

Morning girls
I’m feeling pretty sh1t today, low mood and emotional, irritable. I’m thinking AF is just round the corner. I’m tempted to test today just so I know one way or the other but only 9DPO. I had a dream last night I had implantation bleeding (can’t get away from symptom spotting even when I’m asleep 😂)
No real cramps but I do feel really bloated and feel starving constantly but I think it’s just the hormone shift leading up to AF.
move got to test tomorrow before this night out anyway so will keep you all updated! x

@Myperfectchaos I feel this way today too! Had my daughters ballet class this morning and all I wanted to do was flop on the sofa rather than going through all the rigmarole of getting us both dressed and out the house before 9! Also meant to be going to the gym later but I'm so tiiiiired 😴🥱

@Babydustthisyear yeah I know, not out until AF shows but can't help but feel disheartened. Feel like AF is just around the corner!

@Sophie3839 weirdly I'm now really cold! But over night was roasting, maybe I'm coming down with something but like I say I often get really hot over night with AF!

@MrsSB2023 sorry you're not feeling great today either! I just feel tired and fed up and in a bit of a grump! I'm only 8dpo so trying to put off testing until after the weekend. You planning to test with FMU tomorrow?

@Carysmatic yes I’ve got some being delivered today! Im honestly expecting AF though as have had awful cramps all morning
