TWW 1dpo today - who's with me?

Hello!

Im just at the start of my TWW!

TTC cycle 1 (unofficially 6months)
Baby number 2 (DD is 2.5yrs old)
CD 18
Cycle length approx 25-29days long
1DPO today
AF due approx 31/1

Me and DH have been unofficially TTC baby number 2 for about 6months, so basically not been using any protection but not tracking my cycles either and just leaving it up to fate. However this month I've been doing OPKs and got a positive test on Wednesday and then a spike in my BBT this morning so pretty sure I can pin point my ovulation at some point yesterday putting me at about 1dpo today! DH and I have been DTD regularly throughout my fertile window this month so feeling hopeful!

Congratulations both @Luna0905 and @MrsSB2023 both look like BFPs to me! I hope that bodes well for the rest of us! Seems to be lots of baby dust in this thread already! Long may it continue! You guys are definitely making me want to test but I'm going to hold out a little longer! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

As @Carysmatic said hopefully this becomes a thread of BFPs! Pretty sure I’m out as I have none of the symptoms I had at this stage last month with my chemical, but I’m living vicariously through the rest of you 😁

Hi ladies, since I posted this morning I’ve been bleeding very heavily. Looks like this one might have been a CP. Absolutely gutted.
Thoughts are with everyone else due to test xx

Oh @Luna0905 I’m so sorry to hear that 😞 gutted for you! This is the problem with testing early isn’t it I suppose, that is my worry too but you just can’t help yourself 😞 big hugs I hope you’re as ok as can be and I’m sure you’ll get your sticky BFP soon xxxx

Oh @Luna0905 I'm so sorry to hear this. I'm really hoping it's not for your sake but if you say it's heavy bleeding then it sounds like it probably is. Though you can be more fertile after a CP. I had a CP when TTC DD and literally fell pregnant with her the cycle after the CP, the bleed that I had was like a really heavy period and then I ovulated later than normal and fell pregnant. So hopefully that can give you a bit of hope in this difficult time! Sending you big hugs xxx

CD25 9DPO and the urge to test is getting strong! AF due on the 31st.....only for these little cheapie tests from boots but have ordered some FRER which should be here tomorrow so dunno if I'll test tomorrow when I get them or wait for Mondays FMU. Oooor wait until Feb 1st when AF will be one day late! Talk me down 😂

Oh @Carysmatic im actually dying for you to test 😂 I haven’t retested today I’m scared of getting a BFN! Cramps have been back but they are so strong, last for an hour or so and then go almost like early labour pains it’s so weird! Two days on the run they’ve been like that for now. Had another nap this evening feel absolutely knackered but a bit run down too. I’m going to try not to test tomorrow and test on Monday when I’ll be 11/12 DPO. It’s so tempting though isn’t it. I think you’ve done well to get this far haha! How are you feeling?

I feel like sh!t! Tonsillitis is the worst, I've slept most of the day so dunno if the fatigue is because of potentially being PG or just the tonsillitis! I've also been feeling low level nauseous the last few days and nearly threw up when brushing my teeth this morning, when PG with DD I'd literally be sick every morning when brushing my teeth because my morning sickness was so bad and brushing my teeth made me gag! So that could be a good sign I guess? Will probably give in and test with the cheapie tests tomorrow with FMU and then depending what that says either do a FRER when they arrive or wait until Tuesday/Wednesday

@MrsSB2023 was your faint positive from this morning? Are you not going to test again tomorrow to see some progression? If I had a faint positive I'd probably test every time I wee'd just to see it get darker 😂

@Carysmatic yes it was this morning, I’ve got loads of easy at home cheapies as well as frers but I’m thinking wait until 12 DPO and then at least I’ll know for sure one way or the other. I’ve looked at the one I did this morning about 1000000000 times today 😂 googled stuff, wondered if it was an evap but it came up straight away and it’s got a pink colour to it, plus I feel bloody pg 😴 I’ll probably cave and do one in all honesty.
All good signs for you then, fingers crossed Aaf stays away. Please do one tomorrow to satisfy me if no one else 🤣

Nooo haha weirdly my urge to test has totally gone! Symptoms all went when I got this cold 🥶 rationally I knew 3dpo was too soon to get symptoms but hey 🙃

I actually made myself 2 days late one month as I thought I was pregnant and stressed so much over it 😂

might do one next week after I went out and bought so many tests 🤦‍♀️ Feel silly now!

Hi ladies, I hope it’s okay to join in. I got my peak static smiley today so I’ll be 1dpo tomorrow. Early days! It’s my first time using the digital clear blue test successfully (it’s the purple one that detects both hormones).

I have mild pcos but main symptom is irregular periods so I never know when I’m ovulating or if I’m even ovulating. I decided to just do tests with IC and CB all this month to see for the hell of it and was really surprised that I am ovulating! (CD 23).

Me and my partner dtd yesterday a day before ovulation. Not sure if we will be able to again but I kept my legs up for a long time after 😂

Hi @Peachyplumm - I’m in the same boat as you! This is cycle #1 trying to conceive #1! I’ve had the flashy smileys all week and finally got my static yesterday afternoon (28th) so assuming I’m ovulating today and then tomorrow (30th) will be 1DPO. We only DTD twice, on the 25th and 29th, so fingers crossed it’s enough!

@LittleMiss2023 Aww omg ovulation buddies! 🥺 hahah. It’s good to meet someone else who’s like totally new to all this! I also had like 4 days of flashing smilies before my static one. I have no idea what to expect and part of me is like ‘is this really happening?’ Because I don’t have any symptoms of ovulation really! If I hadn’t tracked it I’d honestly never have known. Do you get symptoms when it comes? I think I had some cramps a few days ago but that was when it was still flashing. Otherwise I mostly just get pre-af symptoms later on!

@Peachyplumm This is actually my first cycle off the pill, so I can’t remember what ovulation feels like! I know they say to allow a proper cycle before TTC, but we thought yolo. Will give it a crack this month and then have a couple of months off before we travel in April. Ideally would want to be finished the worst of the morning sickness by the time we go. So if it doesn’t happen this month, it’s ok - we’ll start again in April. But I do love the thought of a late Oct/Early Nov baby!

FMU and looks like a BFN from me 🤷🏼‍♀️ knew it would be as these tests say they should be used from the day off the missed period so will wait for my FRER tests to arrive and probably do another with FMU on Monday or maybe just wait until Wednesday when AF will actually be late.
