TWW 1dpo today - who's with me?

Hello!

Im just at the start of my TWW!

TTC cycle 1 (unofficially 6months)
Baby number 2 (DD is 2.5yrs old)
CD 18
Cycle length approx 25-29days long
1DPO today
AF due approx 31/1

Me and DH have been unofficially TTC baby number 2 for about 6months, so basically not been using any protection but not tracking my cycles either and just leaving it up to fate. However this month I've been doing OPKs and got a positive test on Wednesday and then a spike in my BBT this morning so pretty sure I can pin point my ovulation at some point yesterday putting me at about 1dpo today! DH and I have been DTD regularly throughout my fertile window this month so feeling hopeful!

Who wants to join me for the TWW?

@Hmeeg sorry to hear that. But don't give up yet, you're not out until af shows up! What tests are you using?

They're just cheap test strips from boots. However I've just read the info and they're 25mul so there is a chance they just aren't sensitive enough this early I guess....

Now googling to see how common it is to test negative with 25mul at 13 dpo 🤦‍♀️ why do I do this to myself!!!!

@Hmeeg those test strips are notoriously bad imo. I remember when I was pregnant with my son they were saying negative when all of the other tests were positive. Can you get a first response test? They're a lot more sensitive.

Oh i didnt know that!! I'm going to wait until wed, at which point, AF will very definitely be late, and get a frer if it hasn't arrived.

@Hmeeg I’ve had a couple of faint positives! But trying not to get my hopes up yet. AF due in a couple of days so I’ll test again then x

Oh that’s a good sign! Tbh my lines aren’t getting much darker I don’t think, I’m not sure if it’s another chemical or not. X

Did another test this morning. Period isn't due until Saturday so I'm going to be cautiously optimistic until then and it could be a chemical.

@Lizbiz89 thank you, I’m feeling more positive that things are going in the right direction now. I have a bit more weight to lose before I can be referred for NHS IVF so focusing on getting to that goal too.
Congratulations on your BFP, that is a great line! Seems like you caught it just right!!

@Mrsrobinsonx I can't remember which of my 4 girls it was, but one of them had a really slow line progression as hcg just rose slower. She was also the one I was least sick with, and she's a happy healthy 8 year old now, so don't lose hope!!!!!!!!

@Lizbiz89 tomorrow i'll be 15dpo (if my dates are correct as I didn't do opks this month) and it will be cycle day 29 which means I'll be a day late, so if AF doesn't show up I'll test in the morning. I can't believe how good I've been not testing today!!!!

@Mrsrobinsonx I remembered half way through that message which of my kids it was and forgot to delete the first part. All this waiting for a bfp literally has my brain turned to mush!!! Dont mind me at all 🤣🤣

Hi ladies, I’m 10dpo today and bfn. I had really bad cramps last night felt like AF was coming but nothing happened. I’ve never had cramps like that 5 days early so thinking it could be implantation? But I tested today and still bfn. Not sure when to test or if I’m out
