@bringmearainbow Augh I hate announcements like that :( It really sucks when you know its taken someone next to no time at all.

pangolin84 · 31/01/2023 17:46

It does feel like constant pregnancy announcements at the moment. It gets harder as time goes on and patience just runs out.
Feel free to tell me to bugger off with my tests (I appreciate how annoying and shitty it can be to see them) but for anyone interested my update is that I think today’s was darker, even with very dilute wee. No more ICs left now 😱

pangolin84 · 31/01/2023 17:48

And yet I still ended up coming to the conclusion that I am losing the pregnancy. Can anyone help me turn my negative voices off?!

bringmearainbow · 31/01/2023 17:52

@pangolin84 you lot I don't mind send us your test 😘

I know you never know what struggles anyone has had to get to that point they might of found it hard too but I just feel like having tantrums about them. Prob doesn't help this last mc has dragged on for such a long time basically almost 5 months and I'm just at the beginning again.

@TheBirdintheCave I think I would rather have just found out on FB than trying to fake my enthusiasm for happiness. God that sounds terrible doesn't it

@bringmearainbow literally don't know how. Without being too outing her husband had taken preventative measures too 🤯 this could well be your lucky cycle though 🙏😘

Happinessandrainbows · 31/01/2023 17:57

bringmearainbow · 31/01/2023 16:55

I just found out that some close family members on DH side are pregnant with their 2nd they had their first about 4 weeks before we did and I just knew it would happen easily for them. The husband mentioned at a party in sept that they might start trying soon he knew about our first mc and asked if we were trying again I then told him we lost another. shes due in July so it must have happened straight away I'm happy for them but I feel so gutted that we've lost 2 it feels so far far far far away. I'm finding it much much harder to keep being happy for people I know that are now expecting which is a lot 🙈

This is always tough and feels unfair 😔
How are you feeling?

Happinessandrainbows · 31/01/2023 18:02

@monsteramunch I read your message from couple weeks ago and it resonated so much with my life from months ago. It's so so scary when this stuff happens trying for #1 because we have no knowledge that our bodies are even capable of having full term pregnancies but we have to hope for the best ❤️ But it's also scary trying for #2,3 etc etc
Do you feel you get enough support from people around you?
How are other areas of your life?
So sorry you're going through this. Is there anything you do, any activity, that would help you to relax at least a little bit?

TheBirdintheCave · 31/01/2023 18:04

@pangolin84 You can update us as often as you want 😬 We will always be your cheerleaders. If they're getting darker there's every chance this one will be a sticky bean!

@bringmearainbow I totally get how you feel. I'd hate to be told news like that in person. Hearing it on Facebook is so much easier as you can react in private. I've just had one on mine as a matter of fact 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️ A cousin who lives in France has just mentioned she's pregnant with her second. Her oldest is about five months older than my son.

Happinessandrainbows · 31/01/2023 18:05

@pangolin84 if I remember correctly, your other ones are CPs? I think it's so encouraging that the lines are darkening!

Happinessandrainbows · 31/01/2023 18:06

*were CPs.
Sorry for the spam! I should've read everything in one go and written it all in one message instead.

MrsJGrealish · 31/01/2023 18:11

@pangolin84 if we didn't want to see a positive result for one of us we would leave the thread 😘 it's literally that simple

pangolin84 · 31/01/2023 18:22

Haha thanks all. I’m definitely not ready to leave this thread…
yeah I’ve had a couple of CPs since my MMC last June but for those the lines were so faint and didn’t really darken at all. My period was a couple of days late both times and I probably wouldn’t have thought twice about it if I wasn’t tracking obsessively.
ok so the image is afternoon tests on 10, 12 and 14 dpo. The last two were pretty dilute as well.

MrsJGrealish · 31/01/2023 18:54

@pangolin84 so the bottom test is the latest? I honestly don't think I've seen such good progress on ICs. You are doing so well... one day at a time ❤️

No wine no candle baths it's just me now thinking will I or won't I.

FfayeN · 31/01/2023 19:14

Please add anyone I've forgotten 🥰

POAS: Why use one when you can use twelve?! 🌈 💕

@pangolin84 those are super progressions lovely 💪🏼

@MrsJGrealish see if you can get a super quick one in since he's ditched the wine and candles but not if your uti is feeling rubbish 🤞🏼

Thanks for your thoughtful post @Happinessandrainbows you sound like such a lovely person Flowers

I'm always sad to hear that other people feel as anxious and upset as I do at times when it comes to TTC, but so glad we have found a safe space for the highs and lows on here.

I'm lucky my partner and mum are absolute gems bless them.

I'm self employed which is always stressful but does mean that if I need a cry or a duvet day then I have much more flexibility than most to accommodate that, something I'm trying to remind myself of instead of just ploughing through and reaching burnout.

Protecting my peace and all that. Must try to get that mantra tattooed onto my brain!

calimc83 · 31/01/2023 21:29

@MrsJGrealish Nooo...I think it's cos it is my 3rd, she never mentioned my age at all ( I just came to that conclusion) She just said it was something to consider if I was interested and if I defo don't want any more xx

calimc83 · 31/01/2023 21:42

@pangolin84 those lines look fab lovely! Wishing u all the best..I don't think the anxiety ever leaves you either ( sorry to say 😬) just take it one day at a time xxx

MrsJGrealish · 31/01/2023 21:46

@calimc83 too late now anyway 🤣 this would be my 4th. Even I'm questioning myself now 😅

pangolin84 · 31/01/2023 21:59

@MrsJGrealish Yes the bottom test is the latest one. I probably should have waited a bit longer (I knew I’d been guzzling water 🙈) but there’s a reason I’m in a group for POAS addicts. Not sure how I’ll cope without any more to pee on. Maybe it will be good for my mental health 🤞
Still feeling normal. The only symptoms are a small amount of creamy CM and feeling more thirsty than normal.

pangolin84 · 31/01/2023 22:01

Thank you @calimc83. I remember you got your BFP not long after I joined the TTC after MC thread and it’s so nice to see you here still supporting us all 😊

calimc83 · 31/01/2023 22:46

@MrsJGrealish 😆😆😆..@pangolin84 ahh thanks! I can't leave this thread..so invested in everyone. So lovely to see familiar names get their BFP's 🥰 xx

monsteramunch · 01/02/2023 08:09

I think it's lovely that some OG members stick around after their BFPs - it gives me hope and makes it seem more possible it can happen for all of us!

Sore boobs here 7/8 DPO today. This is my chart which I don't think tells us anything other than I ovulated, which is still really helpful to know. And my OPKs showed the same. So that's one thing we know is happening. Trying to hold onto positive things like that!

How is everyone feeling this morning?

POAS: bodies are weird and stupid 🤦🏼‍♀️
bunnykins123 · 01/02/2023 17:38

Hi gals - sorry I've not been around so much the past few days. Went into a bit of a hole the past few days but seem to be out of it now. Hurrah! Also it's so lovely to see you all on FB - can put a face to the names at last💕

@calimc83 I can't believe you're due so soon! How are you feeling about it all? Have you made any predictions over baby's sex? You must be looking forward to babe just being in your arms now 💕

@pangolin84 those tests look great! My advice would be to step away from testing if you've run out. I really think it feeds the anxiety!

@monsteramunch I think your chart looks good. There is no blinders on there that make me think it's a dud month! Sore breasts are also a good sign. Do you think you will test early this month or wait until AF due date?
