@TheBirdintheCave I can feel ov from my right ovary but never my left even though with last miscarriage midwife could tell I ovulated from left 'a rupturing corpus luteum' her words. My right ovary is a dick too, likes to be felt,

@MrsJGrealish Interesting! All three of my pregnancies have been from the left and now this O is from the left. The right one had a butt ton of follicles but I feel like it must never produce the dominant egg.

Honestly it feels like a lifetime ago.,I'm sure I have the gestational span of an elephant! 😂 been PG for ever...I think the back to back MC's contributing to that. Try not to worry too much about being over 40. This one I conceived at 39..can't imagine there's too much diff between 39 and 40?? @Indianna2006 oh have u opted for a c sec as well? I'm also shitting it tbh..plus the consultant offered to sterilise me as well! Not sure how I feel about that 😬..just over 5 weeks to go! Argh 🙈 x

6DPO and my boobs are sore like last month (never been like this the months previous to that). It's giving me some hope. God it would be so great to have some luck this cycle. I don't feel obsessive about days and testing this cycle which is refreshing🤞🏻

My temp went down today 😂 so helpful 🤷🏼‍♀️ I'm not going to worry about it who knows I still think it was Sunday. DS is not well and although I got a chunk of sleep it was just about 4 hours ish

I'm finding the temping hard to get my head around as this is our first month doing that as well as OPKs.

If you ovulated when you think then your timing has been great!

Here's my chart - should I be looking for anything over the next week that may indicate if we've been lucky this month? Or should my temp stay pretty consistent regardless?

@monsteramunch so unfortunately everyone is different some people get an implantation dip and some people's temps go up again if you're pregnant but I have never had either of those in any of my pregnancies mine have always just stayed fairly consistent. Really it's a useful tool to see that you've ovulated and that if it starts dropping AF is probably on her way but again some people don't get the temp drop for AF until after she's started 🤦🏼‍♀️

Will keep temping the whole month so I know what a 'normal' month might look like for me if it hasn't been a lucky one.

I don't know whether to keep temping or not now. I kind of want to forget what dpo I am and concentrate on other things but putting in a temperature every morning reminds me :/

@monsteramunch a triphasic chart (I.e. a second sustained temp shift) is a sign of pregnancy, but I only got that with DD1.

I'm trying to attach the chart but MN is playing silly buggers with me...

@TheBirdintheCave the very best thing I did was stop temping once I got my confirmation of O the cycle I got my BFP. It meant that I wasn't micro analysing every day and comparing to other charts!

@theblueflowers Yeah I think it'll be a good thing for me not to look at FF now and just try to forget about it. Also, it will be nice not to worry about getting up to pee in the night 😂

@TheBirdintheCave I think once you've confirmed O it's good to stop temping if you want to. I never do but that's only because it takes me a while to relax into temping so by the time I get out of it I'll have to start again 😂

@calimc83 so this sterilisation news has thrown me. Does doctor think having a baby over 40 is bad?

I just found out that some close family members on DH side are pregnant with their 2nd they had their first about 4 weeks before we did and I just knew it would happen easily for them. The husband mentioned at a party in sept that they might start trying soon he knew about our first mc and asked if we were trying again I then told him we lost another. shes due in July so it must have happened straight away I'm happy for them but I feel so gutted that we've lost 2 it feels so far far far far away. I'm finding it much much harder to keep being happy for people I know that are now expecting which is a lot 🙈

@bringmearainbow 😞 it's so hard. I hear you. I had a consult with someone pregnant on the pill last week. Like really? I'm peeing on sticks and feeling scared of even trying now

@MrsJGrealish wow pregnant on the pill 😳 I just never understand how that happens. It's so gutting isn't it I really do want to be happy for them but it's like the 4th announcement in the past week and I just want to cry into my pillow. I wish we could find out like the day after has it happened or not instead of waiting days on end 🙄

I feel completely the same as you do my love, really struggling with everyone seemingly falling pregnant instantly. Or even by accident. Life does feel so cruel when you're TTC. I'm glad this is a safe space for us to be able to share that we feel that way, it's exhausting having to pretend it doesn't hurt. We're only human

@monsteramunch you summed that up perfectly it's exhausting 😩 I knew you ladies would understand im pretty sure DH probably won't get it given the blasé way he just told me 🤦🏼‍♀️ also my boobs hurt and im tired because DS just wouldn't sleep last night so im extra emosh 🙄
