@bringmearainbow oh that only happened after the morphine. You don't need the OPKs you'll be DTD anyway so put them out of your head😘 hope you're having the best weekend!

bringmearainbow · 28/01/2023 12:43

@MrsJGrealish lol they gave me oromorph after I started being sick safe to say it didn't stay down so did bloody nothing 😂 I know I know but the control freak in me wants to see my line 🙊 can't help it 😂 we really are having a great time spent the morning walking about the little streets had a bucket of hot chocolate and I honestly don't think I could have another one I love chocolate but it was like drinking melted chocolate syrup so so rich. DH just getting his hair cut because he didn't get time before we went 🙊

@bringmearainbow grim, isn't it! They have me pethadin first and wow. Nobody prepared you for that! I was talking the most I believe able amount of crap and DH was like 'I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about!'. I was quite lucky I had a private room during all this so nobody other than DH witnessed my utter yuckiness. Also, just do one in the morning and evening - that should cover it!

@MrsJGrealish is there another group???

MrsJGrealish · 28/01/2023 13:25

Oh fab! Aah that's cue @MrsJGrealish Flowers

I'm 3/4DPO today and while I still feel as anxious about the whole thing in general, I feel much less like counting the days than I have done previous months.

Planning to hold out til 14/15DPO again I think as that definitely helped mental health wise last month though unfortunately I'm pretty sure I had a chemical (don't know if people remember but I had every symptom and then some, and just 'knew' for the first time) but didn't realise it was likely a chemical until afterwards as I held off testing.

But I wondered if I should maybe test earlier so I can tell my GP if it happens again? As I assume it's a helpful thing for them to know?

Don't really want to test before AF is due again if I don't have to. Never thought I'd say that!

bunnykins123 · 28/01/2023 13:39

@bringmearainbow thankssss! Just requested to join. It's like a first blind date where you actually get to see what the person looks like!

FfayeN · 28/01/2023 13:56

LuckyMoonstone · 27/01/2023 22:38

@TheBirdintheCave ooh I'm almost too nervous to join 😅 this is the climax, all the mystery will be gone 😂

Love this 🤣🤣🤣🤣

FfayeN · 28/01/2023 14:01

@pangolin84 congrats lovely 🥰 xxxx

TheBirdintheCave · 28/01/2023 14:27

@monsteramunch Nah we'll still post here but on the Facebook group we can share photos and tell stories we don't want in the public domain 😅

Indianna2006 · 28/01/2023 16:20

@bunnykins123 thanks that’s good to know! Think I am thinking it’s awful recovery. But my first birth was awful recovery. So thinking similar or perhaps better! And if better than win win.
an then it’s just contending with the scar. I seem to always have issues with scar tissue so will need to try make sure I don’t need more pelvis or abdominal issues!

LuckyMoonstone · 28/01/2023 16:23

@monsteramunch I think it's a good idea for your gp to know about any MCs in case it happens several times (which it hopefully wont)

monsteramunch · 28/01/2023 16:30

Thanks @LuckyMoonstone that sounds sensible. Maybe I'll wait until 10DPO as a sort of middle ground.

I think mental health wise testing earlier than that is going to spiral me a bit like it was in previous cycles 😬

bunnykins123 · 28/01/2023 17:28

@Indianna2006 yeh I've heard some absolutely horrific stories from natural births! If you can get your head around an actual c-section, it's really not that bad. My scar is basically non existent now. You can barely see it! But totally understand not everyone is lucky with their scars. The only thing I've noticed is I get a sore patch in the middle of my pelvis when I ovulate. I think it's scar tissue, you can't feel it unless you press down. Other than that, absolute nadda issues! Feel free to ask questions (but seriously - prunes!)

bringmearainbow · 28/01/2023 17:30

@monsteramunch I think 10/11dpo is quite a good compromise I think you could even leave it until 12dpo if you didn't want to go as early as 10 😘 we're here to hold your hand through every day xx

OP posts:
monsteramunch · 28/01/2023 17:34

That's so lovely of you @bringmearainbow I really appreciate it and will definitely be taking you up on some hand holding! Here's to me having super sore boobs again this month 🤞🏻 Flowers

bringmearainbow · 28/01/2023 17:37

@monsteramunch I've got everything crossed for those sore boobies 🙊🤞🏼 hoping I might get some too 😂 though tbf that is usually one of my pms symptoms that just gets worse every time I'm pregnant so not really at great indication of conception for me 🤦🏼‍♀️

OP posts:
TheBirdintheCave · 28/01/2023 17:38

@monsteramunch You are supposed to be more fertile after a chemical so fingers crossed for this month! :D

MrsJGrealish · 28/01/2023 17:45

@bringmearainbow @monsteramunch my boobs are currently sore bang in the middle of a cycle🤷‍♀️ who knows why anything happens
