Sorry to those who have had to welcome bastarding AF 😞

I'm currently 14DPO, due tomorrow / Monday and feel fine about sticking to my pledge not to test until Monday at the earliest.

We're a year in and I just can't keep doing the early testing heartbreak so this is definitely better for me and my mental health.

Very, very sore boobs and more CM than usual. Proper insomnia last night, I think because as brain was in overdrive a bit. Hoping so much that this is our month. And we're having tests done this month and next so feel like we're being proactive at least.

Any crossed fingers and good luck thoughts are very welcome these next few days!



@LuckyMoonstone to me there is defo progression between FMU tests 👏🤞

@monsteramunch I'm sorry you're feeling this way. I dont early test for exactly that reason, I think some people prefer to know early whereas I found the bfns really hard. Have you tested this cycle? I had a gush of cm when in the shower on AF day (I thought that was AF starting - sorry tmi!) which never ever happens so I think increase in cm is defo a good sign!

I think increased cm is a good sign too!

@monsteramunch Good luck! I'm determined not to test early next time too as I don't want the horrible wait I had with the last baby when I found out at 3+4. I'd rather get to a week late and then test.

Yeah I just can't look at that bloody empty space any more times than I have to! I regret texting early the other months as it meant that I felt so shit for an extra 5/6 days. This is definitely the way forward for me.

Haven't tested at all this cycle. We timed things really well, assuming the OPKs were accurate, which made me feel a bit more positive. Pretty much every day in my fertile window really.

Nothing is TMI here, don't worry! It's good to hear that CM increase is a good sign, it's been way more than normal since about 6/7DPO I would say.

Yeah early testing is definitely not for me. Shame it took me a year to realise it eh?!

How are you feeling today? Is the hot water bottle still helping? Hope you're doing OK.

I don’t think the new one is any better 🤷‍♀️ but I’m currently 1.5 hours into a hold with no fluid intake, same as yesterday, so maybe the next one will be the one!

@monsteramunch Much better now :) Should be able to have a shower after lunch as I had to keep the sexy stockings on for 24 hours 😂

God that shower will feel SO nice. I always feel like I need to wash the smell of hospital off me when I come home.

Went back to have a look at my test now it's dried I would say the line has colour so I'm staying quietly on the optimistic side that it's a positive 🙈 @emhope i looked at it at the 3 min mark and line was there so 🤞🏼

@LuckyMoonstone ahhh it's so hard not to take them isn't it especially when you have a nice box full 🙊 I said to myself before the tww that I wasn't going to bother doing progression tests when I next got a positive because fat lot of good they did me the last time but here I am I know I'll do it won't be able to help myself 🙈 thankfully I don't have that many tests I'm certainly not buying more maybe other than a digital 😂

Thank you! I've been working on and off which is annoying in one way as I'd like to just chill but it is also a good distraction.

Can feel myself getting really down now that I've had these period pain pangs.

I'm 14dpo so guess too late for it to be implantation pains but I know some pregnant women get cramping at this stage.

Bloody hell. Hopefully not literally.

I'm still reading quietly during my 'time off' and just wanted to say congratulations to @bringmearainbow and @LuckyMoonstone (why is there no happy tears emoji?😂)

@monsteramunch it could well be cramping, I haven't been able to tell the difference with any of mine between AF and pregnancy. Only one more day to wait and then you will know for sure, I have everything crossed for you xx

@FfayeN thanks lovely if it is a nice actual positive I'm going to ring the EPU next week. They said they they will monitor me at our next positive. I'm a bit afraid that we've fallen again so quickly 2nd time first cycle after surgery and that my womb is one of those unfussy ones that just implants anything 🙄 but I keep reminding myself each one is different gotta keep hold of the positives

That was indeed a good shower :) I cleaned it too as well as the bathrooms 😂
