I'm so cross with them on your behalf @bringmearainbow sorry Flowers

MrsJGrealish · 21/01/2023 19:41

@bringmearainbow ffs. Weirdly my blob just dropped out too with cramps a couple of hours before. I will say I had retained products which was only made apparent by massive bleeding 2 weeks later after DTD. This was before I found mumsnet and ladies like me. Please take care xx

MrsJGrealish · 21/01/2023 19:45

@monsteramunch yea I'm enraged too. I mean I know they are under pressure but how long is a scan?? Not long I've had many and you were there already. Im sorry @bringmearainbow you don't need this.

Indianna2006 · 21/01/2023 20:06

@bringmearainbow I just took a look at the pic aswell hun. Agree deff looks like some sort of remains that shouldn’t be in there. Looked quite large as well so can’t believe they’ve managed to leave that in there after d & c. An it didn’t come out last time you bled.
Altho can take a while for it to remove properly as I do recall them telling me when waiting naturally it could take a couple of cycle.

and likelihood of falling pregnant with that tissue hanging around in your lining is not likely as it’s like a foreign object almost and implantation won’t want to happen. So deff better out than in!

hopefully that’s bloody it hun! And the bleeding will now taper off. Reckon your body was trying work hard to get it out. Hence the on off random bleeding and it’s finally managed it.

🤞🏼🤞🏼 fingers crossed it’s tapers off now and proper fresh cycle begins. What a joke tho.

Indianna2006 · 21/01/2023 20:09

@LuckyMoonstone keeping my fingers crossed for you so tightly for Monday lovely. Will be thinking of you.

I have a stinking cold 🤧🤧 feel like I could sleep for a week lol x

MrsJGrealish · 21/01/2023 20:40

@LuckyMoonstone yes so much luck for Monday lovely xx

I'm not trying this month I really think my body needs a time out. And for me not to be absorbed by ttc. This past week has been hard but I'm feeling slightly normal again. I'm still reading if it's not too weird because I do feel like I'm invested Xx

LuckyMoonstone · 21/01/2023 21:29

@bringmearainbow even without seeing the pic I would’ve said straight away it sounds like retained product from your last pregnancy, what a shock for you I hope you’re ok. Not very nice for you to go through weeks later 😔

@MrsJGrealish @Indianna2006 thank you both!

bunnykins123 · 21/01/2023 21:42

@bringmearainbow It could be what's called a 'decidual cast' which is basically some lining from the womb. If you google it, it looks v similar. It could of course, be products from the miscarriage but it's worth considering that possibility too. Either way, it must have been a shock and not something you expect to see!

@LuckyMoonstone best of luck for Monday! Got everything crossed for you 🤞

@MrsJGrealish I think that's totally fair enough. TTC is such an exhausting, emotional journey and actually having a bit of headspace from it all is probably a good thing!

MrsJGrealish · 21/01/2023 21:50

@bunnykins123 I actually feel really good about it. Like a weight has been lifted! I might see a doctor though still have annoying backache which could well be unrelated. Old age sucks 😅

monsteramunch · 21/01/2023 22:22

Haha @MrsJGrealish I feel the same about aches and pains now - they seem to start and then stick around don't they? I'm 36 now and every time I get a new one I think well... my (insert body part here) is just gonna hurt forever now 😂

MrsJGrealish · 21/01/2023 22:42

@monsteramunch omg it's mental! I'm still spotting a little but I'll be 41 in May so way older 👵 good luck this cycle!! Swear to god one of us must get lucky 😘 (defo not me, head cheerleader😊)

monsteramunch · 21/01/2023 23:02

Thank you @MrsJGrealish I'm hoping there's some luck for us in the next few months.

Got a flashing face today on my digital OPK so at least this month's fertile week is here.

I weirdly find the TWW less anxiety inducing than the week where we're trying to time stuff around DTD and ovulation. Think just because we've had so many unsuccessful TWWs for so long.

Then next month he's having his test.

Then we shall see 🤞🏻

TheBirdintheCave · 22/01/2023 07:58

@bringmearainbow Good gravy I've just seen the pic on that other thread. What a shock that must have been!

Thinking back your story now reminds me of my friend on another pregnancy forum in 2019. She had a MMC at twelve weeks and had a D&C and then a long saga of random bleeding until a few months later the retained products finally came out. She got pregnant with her daughter the next month.

I so hope that's the end of it for you and you body can get back to normal!

bringmearainbow · 22/01/2023 08:20

Thank you all for looking at my gross pic 🙊 and for the input it's very much appreciated ❤️ I'm really hoping that's the last of this bloody saga now and we can actually get on with TTC 🙄 @bunnykins123 I had never even heard of that had to google. Tbh guess I'll never know what it was but glad it's no longer in there that's for sure! No wonder I had horrid cramps for 4 days let's just hope that's the last of it 🤞🏼 EPU told me to do a PT so I've just done a frer and it's absolutely stark white so I reckon those lines I had were very faint hcg lines from whatever was left in there rather than indents

bunnykins123 · 22/01/2023 09:42

@bringmearainbow I think I had something similar after my mmc although I'd been scanned for retainer products and it was clear which is what prompted me to google that cast thingy! Ah that's great news it's completely blank! You've had a few faint lines recently so it's good to know your body has now totally reset. Where are you in your cycle now?

@MrsJGrealish totally get that. Sometimes it's nice to not have to worry about all the stress that ttc brings. Enjoy this time relaxing, enjoy all the wine and none of the forced sexy time 😂

@monsteramunch good luck this month 🤞

bringmearainbow · 22/01/2023 09:56

@bunnykins123 currently CD13. O happens a lot of the time around CD16/17 but I have had later so I'm kind of hoping that it's at the weekend around CD20 because we're going away Friday 😂

monsteramunch · 22/01/2023 11:07

Thanks @bunnykins123

Flashing yesterday and today so based on previous, hoping tomorrow will be a static based on my results in previous months.

If so I think we'll DTD daily until Wednesday and tbh I think that after last month's suspected chemical I'm going to just crack on with work etc during the TWW as I just can't get hopeful again.

Last month was the first month I thought 'I know I am' and I think I was right but it just didn't stick.

Got my fingers crossed for all of us Flowers

Happinessandrainbows · 22/01/2023 11:12

@bringmearainbow I feel things will settle for you now! No more random bleeding, cramping, unexplained positive tests. It's a new page for you now x

TheBirdintheCave · 22/01/2023 12:33

@bringmearainbow @monsteramunch Looks like we'll all be in the tww at the same time :)

I've screwed up my lovely tidy temperature chart by having a few drinks on Friday and Saturday which gave me rises today and yesterday 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ Still don't think I've O'd yet as I've not felt anything. EWCM is still going though not as much as Friday.

bunnykins123 · 23/01/2023 07:36

@LuckyMoonstone good luck today lovely 💕

MrsJGrealish · 23/01/2023 07:36

Sorry I've been quiet, I've been reading from the side lines and just about keeping up with your developments, just popped on to say good luck today @LuckyMoonstone and I'm thinking about the rest of you 😘 xxx
