Just had a big stomach pain. Fucking hell. Maybe it's starting.

Feel really betrayed by my body if that makes sense. Like it let me believe this could be it. Yesterday I would have bet money I was pregnant as I 'just knew' for the first time in our year of TTC and now it looks like I was wrong.

Will struggle to focus today. Lucky I work for myself I guess as I can feel sorry for myself and work from under the sofa if needs be.

Never had less than a whole day of pains before AF starting. Had one big pain as I typed my last post and now AF has arrived. I have a zoom in a few minutes so trying not to cry. I fucking hate this. I'm so tired and so upset all the time. I really believed this was it and now I can't even trust my body / instincts.

@TheBirdintheCave if you search on Royal Mail it will tell you where they are I think it means they will absolutely pick up from it rather than a funny obscure one that they might not get to. I think most of the big post boxes are they tell you on the front of them if they are a priority postbox

@LuckyMoonstone they are deffo getting very strong 😁 I know it’s hard not to think well all others have been losses. But last time obv was ski go rly diff in that it seemed to be unknown and tests didn’t get dark.
This one is quite easily THE one. Come on Thursday 👏

@bringmearainbow ahh sorry hun. It’s horrible that disappoint. I do think frer are good. But not good to use to early cos I do think there lines are dupious. Whether it’s residual or just shitty tests throwing out lines 😞 they’ve deffo caught me out before.
deffo just leave it a few days now. And see if she arrives. If not test again.

It’s so so hard to not test early it really is. But eventually after it messing with my head I waited until 12dpo every month to test. Cos then a frer gave a line easy enough there didn’t need to be any hopeful guessing. Stupid things!

@monsteramunch sorry about your digital negative. These bodies do play tricks on us. Allow yourself to feel it all. A then try pick yourself back up in few days. New cycle. New start. I know it’s tough 😘

@bringmearainbow Ah nuts, my nearest one is the next town over. I'm too lazy to walk there so I'll have to send my husband tomorrow on his way to work. I hope I can squeeze enough blood out of my finger between 6.45 and 8.20 :/

@Indianna2006 I know I shouldn't test early I'm going to try and be better next cycle. If AF shows and it's a new cycle hopefully I'll be ovulating when we're away so that's pretty good timing 😂 child free weekend 💪🏼

@TheBirdintheCave you'll be surprised how much you can get out of one tiny finger prick 🙈 it only took me about 5 mins of squeezing to fill up the bottle

In other news I just booked some flights. I am now going to Sicily in June :) £430 with EasyJet so not too bad considering that wee laddo needs his own seat this time.

Just called GP for results of my day 21 blood test and the receptionist said that they could only read out what it said, as not clinically trained, and said the progesterone test result said '34.4, indicates ovulation'.

I have had a Google and can't for the life of me work out what that means when it comes to fertility - whether it's the low end of normal or mid range...

Any expertise / thoughts very welcome!

To add insult to injury, not only has AF arrived, it's an especially painful and heavy one.

Researching and it looks like 30 is the baseline for indicating ovulation, with a range of 30-65 possible. Which means my result of 34.4 sounds low I guess? Is that bad?

@LuckyMoonstone those early scans are the worst. I would always go in crying 😭 and found them so hard....I always told them my history and they've been generally really good. I would just close my eyes and keep telling myself whatever they find then I know I can cope again with whatever outcome xx

Realised it was actually CD 25 I had the 'day 21' test (hospital said it was the closest they could do) but it was 7 days exactly before period now it's arrived today.

Imagine we're there with you (if that isn't too weird) as lots of us will be thinking of you when you're in there and ready to support you whatever the scan shows

@LuckyMoonstone so much luck for the scan xx according to the tests your levels look high 💕 (I used these tests everyday when I had a loss at 5 weeks and just watched them fade away)

Nothing is happening my end. Boobs not too sore, cramps have gone, just the waiting game now xx

@MrsJGrealish they've never done a dirty on me normally 😂 it's so hard to change your trusted brands 🙈 I still have a little bit of hope as it is early days. I had pink cm yesterday but gone back to creamy now and my cervix is def high but I'm sure it can all change in a matter of hours. I reckon that bloody excess progesterone has been causing all my symptoms 🙄

@bringmearainbow I know..I feel your pain. I actually have 4 in a drawer from last year so Ill obviously still use them 😅 Was assessing what pregnancy tests I had yesterday.

@MrsJGrealish I might be tempted to not bother with anymore frer once I've used what I've got and use the early cb digital since they pick up 10. It might also make me wait that little bit longer as I won't be so inclined to think oooh they will pick up just a small amount like the frer and they are more expensive won't want to waste testing early 😅 that's my theory anyway 😂 probs all go to crap the closer I get 😂

Well I am in a right state today, scan tomorrow at 9:40am and I am full of nervous.Can’t concentrate at work and don’t know how I will sleep tonight… still getting the on/off pains in ovary and now my muscle hurts at the top of my arm/by my shoulder. Says shoulder tip pain can be another sign ectopic so now I am really worried. I wouldn’t say it is shoulder tip though and does just feel like a sore muscle. I don’t know why I googled it, made me so much worse 😢

@emhope Take it an hour at a time. In all likelihood everything will be fine ❤️ I totally get how you feel though.

@monsteramunch I don’t think you need to worry as the test indicates that you have ovulated. Did they do other tests as well? Do you have day 3 results? Sorry if I missed that.
I’m wondering if you might have had a chemical pregnancy as your experience is almost exactly the same as mine in November except I tested early and got faint lines. They disappeared by 15/16DPO and then AF showed up.
