Girls I'm 100% sure those positives are just residual hcg. This morning is even fainter than a couple of days ago you can barely see anything in fact it's about 98% negative and I had the most concentrated wee ever I didn't drink anything past 5.30. Suppose that's the problem with frers they are so sensitive. I expect AF will show weds/Thurs. I wonder if I've been having so many symptoms because it's been a while since I've had a LP and progesterone has sent me haywire 🤔 can't lie I feel so gutted those lines gave me hope but it would have been a miracle to fall the first cycle after twice in a row

@bringmearainbow awh hun I'm gutted for you. That 2nd test you did looked really promising. I honestly think FRER are both a blessing and a curse when testing early!

bringmearainbow · 10/01/2023 07:41

@bunnykins123 lol they are indeed 😂 I still can't bring myself to use a different brand though. I'm only 10dpo so I can't say I'm out completely yet but I'll wait and see if AF turns up and if she doesn't I'll do one Saturday

@bringmearainbow sorry hun 😢 literally how can it still be there? But anything's possible. Everything crossed AF doesn't show up xx

TheBirdintheCave · 10/01/2023 07:49

@bringmearainbow What? Really? Surely that can't be possible since it's been so long and the second one you took was darker than the first the other day 🤔

LuckyMoonstone · 10/01/2023 08:24

@bringmearainbow i thought your test progression was promising, it’s still early this cycle though So I hope she stays away 🤞

LuckyMoonstone · 10/01/2023 08:25

My test this morning, starting to feel so much more hopeful but that means setting myself up for a bigger fall on Thursday. Bit of pink spotting again this morning, it seems to always be when I first get up and I’ve moved around a bit.

TheBirdintheCave · 10/01/2023 08:31

@LuckyMoonstone Looking good :D Is it a scan you're having on Thursday?

This looks great Flowers

monsteramunch · 10/01/2023 08:36

BFN on digital (the only test I had handy) this morning. FRER coming later but seems like my body is just playing cruel tricks on me.

Symptoms all the same as before plus now constipated. Great. All the symptoms, none of the good news.

Absolutely gutted. Think maybe it's time for some counselling to help me through this, it feels unbearable a lot of the time.

monsteramunch · 10/01/2023 08:37

I've got everything crossed for you @bringmearainbow, I really hope you get some good news soon Flowers

LuckyMoonstone · 10/01/2023 08:56

@TheBirdintheCave yep scan on Thursday, I’m so anxious!

TheBirdintheCave · 10/01/2023 09:02

@monsteramunch But no AF either? That's still positive. Let us know how you get on when the FRERs arrive :)

@LuckyMoonstone Exciting :D At five and
a bit weeks they should be able to see a sac I think :)

monsteramunch · 10/01/2023 09:18

@TheBirdintheCave

No sign of AF, no. Usually I get a dodgy stomach the day of, but I'm constipated so the opposite!

This is now my longest cycle ever other than one 34 day one ages ago when my cycle seemed to go weird after my vaccine.

Think I'll wait until tomorrow and then if no AF fry a FRER.

How are you feeling today?

TheBirdintheCave · 10/01/2023 09:51

@monsteramunch A little better than yesterday. My hormones are definitely all over the place. I seem to vacillate between angry, sad and calm, I've got random headaches and my face has broken out terribly so I look awful too 😂 Thankfully the nausea and sore boobs stopped as soon as I'd had the surgery so I at least feel normal on that front.

My thyroid test is meant to arrive today but the postie is going to have an assault course to get here as the builders are relaying the path on our street (finally! It's been a dirt path since July). I really hope it gets here!

LuckyMoonstone · 10/01/2023 09:59

@monsteramunch so so strange, maybe you were even later to ovulate than you thought, if that’s at all possible?

bringmearainbow · 10/01/2023 10:05

Thanks ladies I'll keep you posted on AF

@monsteramunch well I'm happy she's a no show for you let's hope she stays away 🤞🏼

@TheBirdintheCave

You're doing so well, I'm really pleased some of the symptoms went quickly but rubbish you've now got some unwanted ones! You're off work right? Hope so. You deserve a rest Flowers

Is the thyroid test fertility linked? I should know already but wasn't sure!

LuckyMoonstone · 10/01/2023 09:59

@monsteramunch so so strange, maybe you were even later to ovulate than you thought, if that’s at all possible?

It's so weird!

My OPKs this month:

Digital flashing smiley CD 11 and 12
Digital static smileys CD 13 and 17 (didn't test between, so it should have had time to reset)
Strip positives CD 15 and 16 (negative all other days)

Usually I ovulate 24-36 hours after my first positive OPK so with so many positive tests flying about at different times, this has been a weird cycle.

It's like a riddle I can't solve!

monsteramunch · 10/01/2023 10:19

And I'm on CD 32 now.

TheBirdintheCave · 10/01/2023 10:21

@monsteramunch Yes your thyroid can cause miscarriage if it's not working right and there was some question about mine in my twenties so I thought I'd check it out.

I am off for two weeks, yes. I might not take all of it but I'll at least wait for my body to go back to normal I think. Mentally I might need the second week but we'll see.

LuckyMoonstone · 10/01/2023 10:30

@monsteramunch yes thyroid issues are linked to MC, I’ve had issues for years but only when I had 3 miscarriages did a doctor decide that I should be on medication for it!

Jeez. I hate GPs sometimes.

monsteramunch · 10/01/2023 10:37

@TheBirdintheCave @LuckyMoonstone

God it's such a minefield isn't it? Feel like I learn something new every day.

Bird please do be kind to yourself and take off the time you need, for sure. Are your work generally good employers?

TheBirdintheCave · 10/01/2023 10:41

For anyone who had used Medichecks before. They're saying I have to use a Royal Mail priority post box? What on earth is that?
