@emhope I always think I’m getting shoulder tip pain when I’m pregnant so I panic and then I have to remind myself that my left shoulder always bloody hurts 😂 but seriously by the time you had shoulder tip pain from an ectopic you’d be in agony and bleeding profusely

You must be feeling so anxious so I understand - try to be kind to yourself and your body today. Really hope you can have a good sleep tonight and then not long in the morning until you can go and see what's happening. Got everything crossed for you and as PP said it's likely everything is fine

I had day 3 bloods too but GP receptionist said they only had one set of results on the system and that was the day 21 set even though (obviously) they happens later, I'll chase up the day 3 ones and see what they say.

I wonder if it might have been a CP, that might be a good shout. I've honestly never felt 'I'm pregnant' before and the symptoms were so clear and so strong I didn't doubt it for a second. Perhaps it was that and this isn't a normal AF bleed.

As I said before usually I get a day or two of cramps before I start to bleed and today I got a very sharp pain then within minutes starting bleeding. It feels different, just like the last two weeks has.

I'm sorry you had a CP, especially as you must have been so excited testing early and seeing lines 😞

And thanks @LuckyMoonstone I needed to hear that. I think I am just really overthinking the whole thing, as like you said the pain would surely be a lot worse and I would have bleeding, which I don’t, so fingers crossed everything is ok tomorrow.

@emhope good luck tomorrow! How many weeks are you now? Are you having many symptoms? I think shoulder tip pain is at the point of rupture with an ectopic so unless you're in huge amount of pain then I suspect it's natural stretching!

I'm struggling this evening, partly because I'm in so much pain. Doc suspected fibroids a while ago as my periods are so heavy and painful but a check showed there weren't any. Which is good obviously but also means not much help available! Anyway, for the first day or two I feel almost high (not in a good way) the pain is so bad.

I joked the other day that it'll be great being pregnant because I get a break from periods for nine months and my mum's friend said to me (as if I'm stupid) that pregnancy is no picnic either and neither is parenthood.

I. Fucking. Know. My eyes stung with tears and it took a lot of effort not to snap at her. I don't actually think pregnancy or parenting are a walk in the park mate, I was making a flippant comment to make myself feel slightly less shit.

Sorry. Rant over. Very ranty today x

@bunnykins123 I think am 6+1. Been really tired, no energy and sore nipples. Hoping pain is from my cyst and shoulder/arm pain is prob just a sore muscle as I was moving some boxes and stuff around yesterday.

@monsteramunch thanks lovely I don't feel too crappy about it least she showed up now and didn't wait a couple more days and it would have been very very lucky to fall straight after my mc. Oh you poor poor thing that sounds terrible. Honestly sometimes people just don't understand and they say things just to say it ❤️ you're totally allowed to be ranty and grumpy xxx

I've just woken up to blood everywhere. Worst period in ages. Clots galore and the pain is so bad I woke up, can't sleep and it made me cry.

Insult to injury when AF arriving was already such horrible news.

This week can absolutely fuck off.

Finger stabbing was a bit of a comedy of errors. Went for the ring finger first as suggested and filled the bottle easily but then spilt a bit and couldn't get any more blood out of that finger as it had already clotted 🤦🏻‍♀️

Second finger I chose seemed wise to what had just happened and decided that it would bleed but only very slowly so it took ages to fill the bottle back up.

Thankfully it is now complete and my husband is taking it to the post office x__x

todays test is almost as dark as the control line, except for this test had a weird lighter strip along the bottom edge. I find that a lot with these easy@home tests, some tests have a light strip through the middle or top/bottom

@LuckyMoonstone It took me by surprise how much it hurt. I guess the side of your finger is quite sensitive 😂

That definitely looks control dark now :D And yeah those tests do often have little dints or lighter dye patches.

I'm going to take advantage of working for myself and do so from under a duvet on the sofa today I think. Big deadline tomorrow so can't have the day off but perhaps that's good because it'll distract me. Your new line is looking really good!

It's such a different month and now period than usual, inc lots of clots yuck, that I think it might have been a CP yeah.

Don't know whether (if that was the case) it's good that at least part of the process is happening or not good because it means there's an issue with viability.

Not sure whether I can ask my GP for advice as of course there's no way of knowing whether it was that or not. Wish I had tested earlier now, my smug 'ooh I held out til 16DPO' self was an eejit!

Well done for getting the blood test done, another thing ticked off

@monsteramunch ah yes sorry i forgot your work for yourself. It’s so much better to be at home when you’re dealing with a horrible period, with a shower and a change of clothes in arms reach!
