7/8DPO Pains With a Cold

Hi everyone,

I am 7-8DPO today and I've had 2 colds since the end of November. Second one supposedly started the day after I was supposed to ovulate, now I'm not sure if its thrown everything off.

I've been coughing quite badly because of this and I have been getting strange pressure/light cramps in the pubic area. Is this caused by the coughing? I usually only notice it on my ribcage with a bad cough so I'm not sure if I just pulled a muscle, what do you all think please?

My partner has been ill both times as well before me, no idea where he's picking it up from! Never been ill twice so close together before. Thank you.

I’ve tested tonight and it was still negative so I guess my period is just late. Ugh 😑 the waiting around for Af is the worst part x

@Mrsrobinsonx @carsty I think its just an indent or something especially as I was already late when I tested but these are probably the beat pics I got of it (the same test I did 2 days ago) excuse my manky nails 🤣🤣x

@Mrsrobinsonx I am tempted but I only have one test left 🤦‍♀️ it stops me from wasting them though! I'm sure I've had indents in the past so I'm not really expecting anything out of it if I'm honest

Someone on another thread suggested inverting the pictures, not sure if it's of any benefit?

@Mrsrobinsonx No worries, I'm still waiting. My nips have been sore for a week (tomorrow the 12th will be a week) I can't find on my app where I've noticed nipple soreness recently and it is quite painful now! Got some backaches as well 🤷‍♀️ how are you getting on? X

no period and still negative test so it’s just a long annoying wait to see what happens next 😑

I’ve been to the doctors today about the bleeding, they think my cervix is just sensitive for some reason and late period is just one of them things, but I’ve got a blood test to make sure.
Just want to come on now but if not I’m just going to carry on as normal and take ovulation tests etc as if I was on the next cycle 😂

@Mrsrobinsonx Very peculiar! Not heard of a sensitive cervix before. I hope your blood test results will be OK.

I'm still waiting for AF 🤷‍♀️

AF has arrived today so I’m officially on to cycle 4. X

@CloudyVenus @Mrsrobinsonx yes ive heard various things can irritate the cervix causing bleed ing including intercourse etc if its sensitive...i am also still not well, thoight id be by now, today im actually cpughing more than yesterday and still a bit hoarse😩

@Mrsrobinsonx glad you know what it is and hopefully all will be well with bloods...sorry af arrived...hopefully the next cycle will be bfp for us and we will be over these bloody bugs or whatever is causing us this illness!!!

@carsty no, not yet! Waiting until Sunday. If it's negative I'll just assume thr illness affected me. Still waiting for AF though. My nips are still sore but appear to have settled down a little now

AF 6 days late now, I think I just didnt ovulate 😖 not got anymore symptoms either

I’ve always heard that people that don’t have many symptoms are more likely to be pregnant.
I had loads of symptoms last month and wasn’t pregnant so keep positive! 🤞🏻

@Mrsrobinsonx Really? That's strange, I wonder why that is.

@CloudyVenus Because if you get symptoms in the tww it’s more likely to be pms than pregnancy symptoms because most symptoms for pregnancy don’t start until 5/6 weeks (properly anyway)!
I’m actually ok, glad my period is here so I can look forward to trying again. I thought I’d be more down about it but I’m ok ☺️

@Mrsrobinsonx I'm not sure how far along I'd be if I was pregnant. 4-5 weeks maybe with my last AF??

Well this is what I got this morning. BFN I think. Although my urine was rather pale this time but I'm sure it doesn't make much difference at this point. I also saw a white colourless line on it as it was developing which I haven't noticed before. Choking it up to no ovulation 😪

@ohblahdeeohblahdahlifegoeson it had that on my last one a week ago so I think it isn't anything to get excited about 😫

@CloudyVenus ahh I’m sorry, the doctor literally told me a couple days ago that if I was pregnant if would have showed by 2 weeks after ovulation so it’s probably just a late period 😫 x

@Mrsrobinsonx maybe I need to change tests as I always think I can see something with these 😕 I was expecting it to be the case anyway. I keep getting backaches and waiting but nothing yet 😫xx
