7/8DPO Pains With a Cold

Hi everyone,

I am 7-8DPO today and I've had 2 colds since the end of November. Second one supposedly started the day after I was supposed to ovulate, now I'm not sure if its thrown everything off.

I've been coughing quite badly because of this and I have been getting strange pressure/light cramps in the pubic area. Is this caused by the coughing? I usually only notice it on my ribcage with a bad cough so I'm not sure if I just pulled a muscle, what do you all think please?

My partner has been ill both times as well before me, no idea where he's picking it up from! Never been ill twice so close together before. Thank you.

I asked my oh a few days ago about us actively trying to conceive and he just gave me the silent treatment as expected. He is not very talkative and likes to take things easy. He is the type who dont like to stress over anything and if you try to push it he gets annoyed etc. Not sure what to do as I am 33 this year and hoping to have my first asap.

Hi! My app originally said today as it’s CD30 today, but going by tww it’s 2 weeks on Wednesday so I’ll expect it by then.
I just pray it’s not late if I’m not pregnant 😕
Erm yes, my husband is on the same page as me, we decided to start trying and he’s been actively helping every month 😆
He was disappointed with bfn this morning and said we need to do it more this month haha!
Ahh I see, maybe he’s just nervous if it’s your 1st? A lot of men just don’t understand ttc/pregnancy or connect the way we do. I guess that’s why these groups exist. X

We are taking it easy at the moment. He already has one DC which seemed to happen straight away unlike us though, I have no children.

I had a nap as I felt so rough from last night and still no AF. I'm wondering how late she will be. I'm not putting too much hope on that test though!

I’ve had exactly this! The coughing has woken me up all night and it feels like my belly’s done an ab workout

AF may be on her way, I've had a few cramps and backaches this afternoon 😔

@CloudyVenus I’ve had mild cramps and backache all week, which is weird for me to get them before af starts. Not feeling much at all today.
At least if it does come for you at least you’ll know for sure x

@Mrsrobinsonx hopefully it's good news for you! You're still quite early aren't you? Tmi but been feeling quite wet today as well 😵‍💫 strange!

Even bought some pads from the shop as my lower stomach feels heavy as well, just incase as now heading off to work 🙂

@CloudyVenus 12dpo, last time I fell pregnant in October (chemical pregnancy) I got a faint positive on this dpo so I think I’m out but just got to wait it out.

Oh really? no idea what’s it means but hopefully it’s good news for us 🙈

Had lots of CM today, both clear and white. Still have sore nips. No idea how long to wait to retest as I only have one more test left 😳

I think AF is coming for me, feeling more crampy today (been the same all week but it just feels more like period ones today) oh well, onto next cycle I guess!

@Mrsrobinsonx feel not too bad today thanks, slept a bit better last night. What about you?

As they say, you are not out yet! I still have no AF I'm thinking the illness really threw my cycles off now 😤

I think I had some cramps yesterday afternoon but they appear to have stopped now so confused 😕 my body never makes sense though 💀

yeah mines definitely coming I’ve got pink when I wipe. At least I won’t be in limbo like you, hope your AF arrives soon or positive test! 🤞🏻

Hi ladies, as for me im out this month af came as expected and exactly as the app stated...i knew there was a slim chance anyway so will try and work on oh to get him on board with actively ttcing...all the best to you all for bfps i hope af stay away for you and i'll check in on updates!!!

Also, illness has improved a lot today so im grateful for that and hlad everyone else is also feeling better🤗🤗🤗

@carsty I still have a sore throat and small cough, almost for 2 weeks now and it's keeping me awake. I feel so restless too 😞.

Still no AF for me and I haven't retested yet, going to wait until at least Sunday to give her a chance to show up 😂

I am SO confused, this month is weird 😂 first I thought I was definitely pregnant then the tests were fully negative and I’ve come round to the fact my period will be arriving. But then like I said before both times we dtd last week when I wiped after it was pink and then clear again within a couple hours, yesterday we did it again and there was quite a lot of pink after - I told my husband it must be the start of my AF as expected so popped a pad on, then again after a couple of hours it’s gone and back to nothing!! So strange, I think I need to ring the doctor 🙈

@Mrsrobinsonx I'm not entirely sure! Last month it was on time, but as a teenager it was all over the place then I went on the pill (mostly mini pill) then only came off recently, so I really have no idea if they have sorted itself out since then and that I'm just ill this month messing it up. I feel like I'm too late now to get a positive test and I just didnt ovulate/ovulated late.

Have you done another test recently? It could be implantation?

@Mrsrobinsonx Ironically the docs wanted me on the pill to regulate my cycles, but as I used to suffer with migranes they wouldn't let me have anything other than the mini pill after they were made aware!

@CloudyVenus Ahhh, that makes it awkward then!

I tested Monday and it was 1000% negative so I’m just waiting for AF now! X

@Mrsrobinsonx ohh not good, although there could still be a chance based on what you have said?

I feel a bit crampy again today so just waiting to see.. AF was supposed to be here 3 says ago if my cycle followed last months 🤷‍♀️ x

I don’t think it could be implantation as it 1st happened 6dpo and then 10dpo then again yesterday so wouldn’t have been that 🫣
I’ll have to wait and see if AF arrives in the next couple days and then think about speaking to a doctor, I don’t want to even put the idea back in my head that I could be pregnant as I just come round to the fact I was out this month 🙈
I think you’ve got a really good chance if you’re 3 days late and crampy! X

I checked to see if AF is here but just see wet CM. If I was pregnant I would of thought I'd of had a much clearer positive on the previous test I did? 🤷‍♀️ x

@CloudyVenus If you got even a faint line then you’re probably pregnant! I was on the mini pill until October too but my few cycles I’ve had since then appear to be quite accurate and on time! X

@CloudyVenus Oh did you have a faint positive!! Also having cm sounds positive as this tends to increase if prego apparently...let us know and if your testing soon send a pic for line eyes...sounding more like a possible bfp esp since you are late!!!🤗🤗🤗
