TTC October baby 🍁🎃👻

Well here we are again, day 1 of new cycle. It’s been over a year now (I’d ducked out of these threads for ages). Finally going to start with some private investigations. But not for a few weeks.

Anyone got any fun ideas for this month?

@ThomasinaLivesHere yup, definitely don’t have the patience to wait two extra days! Will probably cave and test 12dpo I think..

I can usually manage to make it to day that AF is due but then always end up testing then. But I often find it doesn't put in an appearance until the late afternoon/evening so I really should try waiting at least an extra day, lots of money wasted on FRER! But, I've been tracking my cycles for a while and even though they are usually 28 days, I notice that about every six months I have an extra long cycle, around 30-32. The last time that happened was first month we were TTC, so that will probably be the case this month or next, stocking up on pregnancy tests now!

Is it ok if I join? Have taken a few weeks off these boards after a “pregnancy of unknown location” that ended in miscarriage just before Christmas. Was advised to leave it a cycle before trying again after miscarrying on two consecutive cycles and think I’m now 1dpo on our first cycle back. Have been taking extra vitamin B and magnesium/zinc in the hope of boosting progesterone and keeping my fingers very firmly crossed!

Hey everyone, got a BFP today on 10 DPO. Hoping now for the very best for this October baby!

Between Thursday to Sunday I had cramping and twinges and kind of a burning sensation. I also felt quite tired and a bit dizzy this weekend.

@elarcoiris so sorry to hear about your miscarriages. I had a missed miscarriage in December - found out at 12weeks. After one cycle between we are trying again. I'm 1dpo today and hoping for an Oct 30/31st baby 👻 I'm hoping I won't obsess over this TWW however since I'm already on here 1dpo I don't think I'm doing too well with that 😅.

Loving the parks and rec reference @LuckyYou13 ! Halloween is the favourite holiday in our house, all the fun of Christmas with none of the stress, Halloween baby would be just fab!

I'm feeling really quite bloated last couple of days, I remember that happening in the TWW when we conceived DC#1, trying not to get my hopes up though because equally it could also be the bean chilli we had at the weekend!

AF is due today and I’m to nervous to take a test. Just keep going to the loo to check AF hasn’t come yet. No symptoms that it’s coming but both my sides hurt like pulled muscles. I also have an awful cold which isn’t helpful, going to pick up a test after work tomorrow if it doesn’t arrive which I’m praying it doesn’t!

Everything crossed AF stays away and you get your BFP tomorrow @MummyBear2519

@LuckyYou13 Ah, sounds like we’re in pretty similar situations. Sorry about your loss - will be keeping fingers crossed for both of us this time around!

Hi I don't think I've posted on her but was looking for an October group as I've got my BFP!

Cautiously excited having previously had a MMC, will definitely be booking an early scan.

I'm 9dpo now. Done a test this morning and it was negative. I knew it would be
I know I'm out this cycle as have my usual pre period headaches and cramps.
I'm just feeling sorry for myself. I didn't think it would take this long. Took 8 months with my daughter and were almost at 2 years with this ttc.

@2021lady I know its hard when it takes so much longer second time round.
We fell pregnant first time trying with DD then this one was longer, coupled with my age, I was starting to worry. It is still at the back of my mind

Don't give up hope @2021lady ! It's hard but you're not out yet, symptoms of PMS and early pregnancy are so similar! With DC#1 I only had the very faintest of lines on day AF was due so I'm certain if I tested early it would have been negative. All depends on when implantation occurs and that varies hugely.

I agree with @Jealousofchiliheeler @2021lady. My last pregnancy I didn't get a BFP until 15dpo even though I'd used early detection ones on 11 and 13dpo. Still hope for you this cycle 💛

Gentle congratulations @Smiffette! I too am ttc after a mmc and I don't know how I'm gonna feel if/when I get a bfp. An early scan to help settle some nerves could be a good idea. Best wishes for a sticky bean 💛

I’m so confused. Had what I think was implantation this morning. Sharp stabbing pain for a second and then a few hours later a few light pink spots so took a test (admittedly not first wee) but it’s negative. Any suggestions?

@MummyBear2519 takes about 2-3 days after implantation to get any sort of line on a test

AF is due today so maybe I’ll get another test and try again Thursday morning. The not knowing is driving me crazy

Hello ladies, I hope you're all well! Congratulations to those who have got their BFP & baby dust to all waiting.
I've been lurking for a while but 1st time posting on here.

Currently cycle 3 ttc baby #4. I'm only 8 dpo today but I've just got the faintest line on a FRER.

Can anyone else see it or am I completely delusional with line eyes. Husband's not home until later so I can't even get his opinion 🙈

I never had a line this early. Although we got caught 1st time with our 3 girls so was never properly trying.
