@Misspotterscat I fell pregnant with my first when I was 36, almost 37 and I've now just turned 40 and been ttc #2 for over a year now, feels so disheartening and I hate that my age is a big factor in it now. Just really want it to happen now. So I totally feel what you're going through!! 🤞 it happens for us all ASAP!!!

raises hand I'm here after taking December off from OPKs and focusing on reducing stress. On to the 5th cycle after recurrent chemicals earlier this year.

I spoke to a friend about our ttc journey a few days ago and he said 'I've heard relaxing can really help...' 🙃🙃

TTC #1 been off injection for 16 months, cycles have been somewhat irregular, although this is the second month consecutively which has been less than 40 days so I’m hoping this is my body getting back into a regular cycle.
OH has his sperm analysis next week, I’m currently CD2.

I’m 33 and ttc #1. This will be our 3rd cycle.. I had a chemical in cycle 1.

Currently on CD9 and app predicts I’m due to ovulate on 4th Jan (CD17) with AF due on 19th Jan. I won’t be testing early due to the disappointment after the chemical. Also not getting into ovulation testing this early if I can help it… we probably just need to DTD a little more often just incase!

Joining you all if that's OK. I'm 36, TTC baby no 3. DC are 12 and 9, so quite an age gap, and boy haven't things changed since I last was pregnant! Never tracked temperature, Heart rate, or even had ovulation tests!!

Going to see how things go.over the next few months, and if no joy, will have to jump on board with some of it!! 🤣🤣

I had my peak OPK yesterday so about to head into the TWW, AF due 11th Jan. Hope it doesn’t drag too much! First month using OPKs so hopefully that’s helped, I ovulated 2 days earlier than my flo app predicted xx

Also ttc #1, 33 and trying not to get too stressed. Fingers crossed for you xx

Hi girls, please can I join in? I’m into cycle 4 of TTC baby #1. Been using strip ovulation tests and trying to DTD on the day of getting a positive and/or the day after to try and catch it - don’t really know what I’m doing or when the best time is tbh! Based on the positive strip, I ovulated on 19th Dec and AF is due 3rd Jan. Feels like a lifetime I’ve been in this TWW…. Praying for this month! I’ve had a few twinges and cramps here and there over the past week and a few really really vivid and gross dreams but trying not to think too much into it 😶gonna try my best not to early test and wait to see if AF arrives before I get my hopes up

Those of you who track your BBT, what thermometer do you use? So many on Amazon and lots of them have really bad reviews!!

BFN on frer today and period is due in 6 days so looks like I'm out this month. Only 2 months trying but feeling gutted today! ☹️

I use Natural Cycles. You pay for the year on the app and get the thermometer for free.

Hi @MilkyAndFluffy are you DTD in the lead up to the positive strip as well? Ideally you want the sperm to be there ready and waiting for the egg to be released so on months that you DTD the day after the positive strip you might be missing out!
We've been trying every other day from about CD 11/13 then three days in a row from the say of the positive OPK.
It worked for us first cycle to conceive DD1, now just in our second cycle trying for a second. Trying to stay relaxed about it all but I'm such a control freak!

AF arrived on 26th for me so I rang to try and book my HSG today.
got an appointment for 3rd which is CD9 and coincidentally the day OH is having his sperm analysis.
I’ve heard good things including a girl I work with who got her BFP on her HSG month so hoping that Jan should be our month.
im now nervous and slightly anxious about it as I don’t do pain very well.

This is the first proper cycle, but we've not been trying not to for about 3 months, if that makes sense.

On Day 3 of AF, usually lasts 4 days but I'm finding my AF heavier since my Mc. Only consolation is my cycle seems to be regular since it- hoping that will be on my favour in January. TTC cycle 4.

Think I had a chemical last cycle and my usual 4 day period turned into 7. I’m also TTC cycle 4, on CD8 now.

@Lal33 we are officially on cycle 3.. we weren’t careful in late September/early October as we were on honeymoon. But I would say properly trying from late October/ early November. It feels like much longer when it’s all you can think about though 🤣

Where abouts in your cycle are you now?
I think we might have missed ovulation slightly last month so planning to try every other day for the next two weeks! 🤞🏼 x

@Parkopedia i haven’t really been doing anything on the lead up to it, I haven’t had a clue what I’m doing to be honest so thank you so much for the advice. So ideally need to be DTD more prior to the positive test in your opinion? I’m happy to try anything as I’m getting impatient already! Is it likely for the sperm to survive long enough and stick around for the egg? I know it can live up to 5 days but is there an average do you know? Well if it worked for you first time around, I’m happy to give it a go haha nothing to lose is there! I just need to get DP on board with more DTD within that week😂Also, good luck for try number 2, sending you lots of baby dust for this time around. When are you planning on testing? I feel for you as I don’t do well with pain either - just try to think of how worth it will be if it works like it did for your work friend! I have everything crossed for you that 2023 is your year 🙌
