Hey girls.. I need some help.. have been In many of these threads since July but only creeping.. came home from work today vomiting and very bad nausea.. did a boots early test and would be 9DPO.. can anyone see a line? Iv never had any sort of line, faint Evap anything so im nearly afraid to get my hopes up 🙈 Both me and hubby can see it but we could possibly have line eyes agter so many months 😅

I can see something 🤞🤞

Emz30 · 31/12/2022 17:07

Thanks for replying.. I sent hubby out to get more before the shops close.. he got First response rapid result so not the early ones and this is the result.. surely it would be too much of a coincidence to get two evaps? 🤞🏼🤞🏼Iv another one for in the morning 🤞🏼

I got a line similar to this on frer this morning, I'm 11dpo but I'm guessing it's just an indent. Heard a lot of people saying about getting them on frers recently. I'd wait til the morning and see. If the line goes pink I'd say its definitely a bfp

bubblebab · 31/12/2022 17:18

Hi 👋 just joining after coming from the December testing group.
After some very hopeful symptoms and pink spotting yesterday (which I haven't had before) AF showed up this evening 🙄

So January will be cycle #2 off TTC baby #2 🤞🏻

apples24 · 31/12/2022 17:35

@Babydust99 and @Emz30 I can definitely see faint pink lines in both of yours. :) Fingers crossed!

Downtherabbithole83 · 31/12/2022 17:49

@Emz30 I can see a line on the test and it looks clearer than on your earlier one 🤞

Soda123x · 01/01/2023 01:09

Hi all.
Marking my spot. We are TTC #2
I'd say we're loosely on Cycle #3. Not really been "trying" but also not being careful.

CD20 today but I can have cycles anywhere from 28-40 days.
No pressure atm. We are just DTD when it comes naturally. Taking a relaxed approach as don't want to get into the ovulation tests and stuff until we are ready to officially "try"
Sending lots of luck and baby dust to everyone for a 2023 baby 👶 xx

So after 3 BFPs before xmas (2 FRERS and a digi) I started bleeding 2 days ago and got a negative HPT, I’m so shocked at the amount of chemicals on this group… I will never test early again and strongly advise you ladies not to test early too… it’s soul destroying ti get your hopes up!! I’m Absolutely gutted. But i’m trying not to dwell too much and i’m Jumping back on TTC train! (I’m original poster… I deleted my account after BFP as I found MN to be abit triggering and cause anxiety) but sadly I’m back…

TTC1RanchHand · 01/01/2023 09:06

Hey Ladies! Mind if I join. I’m 31, he is 40 and trying for our 1st! This is our first month TTC (or you could say 1st month not actively trying to avoid it).

I used Natural Cycles to track my cycle the last 2 years after removing my IUD. So I feel like I’m pretty well versed on my cycle. Hit a few attempts right before OD that are in range. Currently in the TWW and I’m probably overly excited. I took one test already because I just couldn’t wait and I had crazy headaches and nausea out of nowhere one afternoon. BFN so far, but hopeful that might change still.

Excited to find a group of ladies who are all in this together. Baby dust all the way around :) Happy New Year!

I'm sorry to hear that. I feel exactly the same about testing early now too. I really thought this was it this month but am also amazed at how many of us are seeming to be having chemicals. I didn't realise it was so common I guess. Best of luck to you, I hope this is your month 🤞🏻

Parkopedia · 01/01/2023 10:56

Happy New Year everyone
I got a very positive OPK yesterday and managed to DTD despite both of us recovering from nasty colds! But don't think I'll be able to convince him again so hope that one time will be enough.

And so begins the dreaded TWW, anyone else testing around Jan 14th?

GemLou88 · 01/01/2023 11:03

So so sorry to hear this @Roxybabe1. Hope you’re doing ok. Sending love. Can’t believe the amount of chemicals I’ve read about lately

Emz30 · 01/01/2023 11:08

Tested again thismorning and looks like it’s gotten darker 🤞🏼🤞🏼 I’m afraid now to get my hopes up with so many chemical pregnancies on here 😭 Iv never even heard of them 🙈 AF not due till Thursday so I won’t do anymore till then..

Happy new year everyone!

@Roxybabe I'm so sorry. You must feel awful. Sending hugs and positivity for your next cycle

@Emz30 that looks like a good line progression to be, but very sensible to wait until after AF is due to retest, although you'll be going mad in them few days in the run up. I hope the next few days goes quickly

Roxybabe1 · 01/01/2023 12:35

Thanks ladies, I was devastated but starting to feel a little better. I was SO anxious about a chemical and low and behold it actually happened! I think there has been 3 or 4 on the last couple of threads, maybe more!! They must be extremely common sadly!! So please ladies don’t test too early!! Especially if you are an anxious person!! Take it from me!! But trying to see the positives atleast I know we have conceived and praying the next one sticks! Has anybody got any success stories following chemical pregnancys? I’d love to hear!

bubblebab · 01/01/2023 16:19

Does anyone on here NOT track ovulation?

I'm on cycle day 2. Everyone seems to track it and then can test on the right DPO, but is there anyone like me who DOESNT test?

Feel alone when everyone is comparing DPO and I don't know anything about it 😂

ldshz · 01/01/2023 16:38

Hi All, jumping on this thread as we have decided to try for our first! I'm turning 34 this year and have just realised my biological clock is ticking! We haven't been being careful since about September but this is the first month we've decided to actively try

Downtherabbithole83 · 01/01/2023 16:40

@bubblebab I think most people on here use an app so they know roughly when AF is coming (I always used one even when not ttc so AF didn’t surprise me!) and these apps tend to estimate an ovulation date - I know that’s what I was doing before I started using opks. That meant I could give a rough guess of how many dpo I was.

If you’re fairly regular you can work backwards from when your period is to estimate when you ovulated to get your dpo (if you don’t use an app).

To be honest, I didn’t know any of the dpo stuff until I came on here: give it a few days and you’ll be an expert in talking about it even if you don’t track.

bubblebab · 01/01/2023 16:42

@Downtherabbithole83 I use an app which gives me an estimated fertile week but no estimate on ovulation. My cycles aren't regular.
Usually around 34/35 days but this last cycle was 38 (got my hopes up) 🙄

Downtherabbithole83 · 01/01/2023 16:50

The apps I’ve used always put ovulation one day before the final day of the fertile window (though once I started using opks I discovered I ovulated one or two days before that normally).

I wouldn’t worry about specifics when chatting on here: everyone just wants to support each other and won’t worry if you do or don’t know your days dpo. Just chat away and know that most of us test too early anyway, even when we do know our dpo!

I feel your pain on the disappointment - the ups and downs of ttc are so hard!

Hello fellow CD2-er!

I didn't used to but it's a slippery slope - did a month to check I was actually ovulating and found I mostly ovulate really early! Which is interesting for me to know but thing is if you're ovulating at some point and generally having sex frequently enough the tests are to some extent irrelevant, and it puts a lot of pressure on the deed itself. The "right" DPO varies so much anyway depending on potentially unknowable things that it's not necessarily a useful comparison - be test buddies with anyone you like 😁

But now I test every month because DH gets quite... ahem... excited when he knows it's not "just for fun" 😄

ELJ1502 · 01/01/2023 19:44

@bubblebab with my first, I didn’t track until the month we conceived. We took a relaxed approach, then I kept getting disheartened so decided to give it a go. I didn’t realise that I ovulated so late in my cycle and we were previously giving in by the point that I was ovulating. The tracking made me realise this and then we conceived.

For number 2, we are actively trying and going straight in with the tracking. I don’t know if this will work or not but we’re going for it.

Definitely don’t stress about it :)

bubblebab · 01/01/2023 19:48

@ELJ1502 hello!! 👋
It just sounds like a load of hassle to me, and I didn't track with DC1 and found it hard to interact with the group I was in as everyone seemed to exclude me as I wasn't tracking ovulation and DPO

Nice to have a CD2 buddy 😊

Same with my DH when I tell him "it's my predicted fertile week or AF has stopped"🙊

This was meant for @Natty83 🤦🏻‍♀️ sorry!

bubblebab · 01/01/2023 19:52

@ELJ1502 I'm TTC #2 now too.
But I don't think I can add the hassle of more tests.

I'm already an over tester on the pregnancy tests 😂

Fingers crossed for your approach 🤞🏻
