@Knov20 mine was mainly the most horrendous periods from the age of 15… I’d be doubled up in bed. Just absolute agony for around 2 days.

Before my op to diagnose, I almost had to have an ambulance to work as I was effectively in shock and almost fitting with the pain. It’s rediculous looking back but the pill helped manage my symptoms for a long time. I was told it was unlikely I had it but when conception just didn’t happen, I knew.

I had to wait for another operation then to treat the endo and was told on the first that I’d Likely need IVF but on the second the specialist said I shouldn’t so it’s still an uncertain game!

Lal33 · 17/01/2023 04:49

When will I relax 🤣

Got a +ve test at 10DPO, AF would have been due today or tomorrow and it's still BFP. Obviously I'm testing every day (!!) to be certain. And because apparently I'm addicted to POAS.

I just want to relax and enjoy it, but I realise it's still very early days and we don't want to get top excited too early.

As with everyone, I wish I'd not tested so early BUT I had very definite symptoms (peeing like it is an Olympic sport, cramping, mood swings and fatigue, plus unusually sore boobs) and I like a gin or three of an evening so it was important I knew so I could adjust my lifestyle.

I realise things can go either way at any stage of pregnancy and I'm not looking for definitive answers but I also know that being calm and relaxed is important. When can I stop stressing about my little ball of cells not 'sticking' ? I'm either 3 + 6 or 4 weeks today.

How is everyone else getting on? Am I the only one in a tizz??

ttcat37 · 17/01/2023 06:19

@Lal33 congratulations! I completely get how you’re feeling- I keep getting faint positives on the cheap strips but can’t seem to get a line on anything else. I don’t know what to do or think tbh.
I can’t help with when it’s safe to truly believe it but got everything crossed for you that this is a sticky one 🤞🏻

ttcat37 · 17/01/2023 06:21

12dpo today. Faint lines still on the IC strips but nothing on the CB.

I definitely see these. Have you tried a FRER? XX

ttcat37 · 17/01/2023 06:35

@Lal33 I’ve got one arriving today from Amazon. I thought it should be darker by 12dpo? And at least show up on a CB.

Lal33 · 17/01/2023 06:36

I mean this has got to be ridiculous, right??

@Lal33 😂😂😂😂😂 great selection!!

I honestly have no idea. This is my first time TTC but I got my first BFP on a FRER, didn't try the CB early detection until a couple of days later as they're more expensive and I didn't want to waste them 🤣

I've got the regular CBs and a dating one, but I'm saving those until tomorrow, by which point AF would definitely have arrived.

When was your O date and when is AF due? My O was super early compared to normal which I think is why I've been obsessively testing because the TWW was longer than usual. Here's my FRER at 12DPO compared to 9DPO (!!), still not hugely dark. A positive anywhere is a sign of the presence of hcg, so you're not out until AF arrives.

Keeping everything crossed for you today - I hope the FRERs give you a better indication. Let me know how you get on!

Hi everyone is it okay for me to join!? 👸🏼 I think I’m 9DPO. what do you think? These tests just scare me so much. X

Sb86 · 17/01/2023 08:44

@ttcat37 I can defo see those lines this morning, I didn't get a sniff of a line until I was 14dpo back in September so don't be disheartened. Give it a couple of days if you can and test again, the lines should have got stronger by then 😊 Oh and congrats 🥰

Sb86 · 17/01/2023 08:45

@Cruzxo I can see a line, did it come up within the specified time frame?

PeopleAreToads · 17/01/2023 08:54

Looks like I'm out! Bright red bleeding started this morning, so onwards to the next cycle

ttcat37 · 17/01/2023 09:24

@Lal33 My O day was 5th Jan and AF due tomorrow or weds.
I did a second test this morning, because I love POAS 🫠 and it actually looks a bit clearer than SMU. And pinker I think? I’ve attached the pic.
The other thing is that my bbt dropped slightly today. It’s been really high for 4 days- between 36.8 and 36.9, and it dropped to 36.65 today.
Good idea saving the good ones for definitive days! My period was longer and O was a bit later than normal so I’m thinking Friday is my definite day. I’ve order a load of tests off Amazon so I’m ready!

Welcome @Cruzxo , I see a faint line!

Thank you @Sb86 ! Cross everything for me! 🤞🏻

Sorry to hear that @PeopleAreToads 💐

PeopleAreToads · 17/01/2023 09:34

@ttcat37 that's definitely a line!

Not sure what's happened this cycle, as the spotting I had over the weekend was stereotypical implementation bleeding and I've never had spotting before. And I ovulated a bit later than normal and if it's AF it's early, which would make my luteal phase 3/4 days shorter than usual when it's normally perfectly regular. So who knows, wonky cycle or a chemical, onwards to February!

northernmam · 17/01/2023 09:35

@ttcat37 I definitely see a line!

I definitely see that.

Save your FRER until FMU tomorrow :-) my O was 4th so we are pretty much on the same timeline.

I did an experiment this morning with SMU with an 'early detection' from Superdrug and there's basically no line at all, just very faint compared to the other very clear positives from other brands using FMU. 🤞

ttcat37 · 17/01/2023 10:11

@PeopleAreToads that’s exactly what happened to me last cycle- spotting, it stopped, then AF came early. I’d had faint BFPs so I think it was a chemical.

@northernmam hooray! It’s not just my eyes! It looks pink to me as well? They’ve looked a bit grey on previous ones.

@Lal33 I’m going to save it and not do any more today! Eeee I’m trying so hard not to be excited yet…

log51 · 17/01/2023 10:19

@Yolo23 I also had a chemical last cycle and I had a BFP yesterday at 10DPO. Driving myself mad though as I don't have the same symptoms - boobs aren't as sore (although still a bit but they always are before my period), and don't have lots of white discharge which I did last month. My first sign though was I had to get up in the night for a wee 3 nights in a row which is v unusual for me.

Wishing everyone else baby dust and please keep your fingers crossed that mine sticks this cycle!

PeopleAreToads · 17/01/2023 11:22

@log51 fingers crossed for you! 🤞🤞🤞 Try not to worry and remember every pregnancy is different

I'm trying to see the brightside in this months chemical that we can conceive, and hopefully we're in your position next month

log51 · 17/01/2023 12:25

@PeopleAreToads Really hope so for you. I spoke to a hormone coach recently who conceived her little girl the month after a chemical and said she felt it was her body "warming up"

justwantobeamum · 17/01/2023 14:45

@ttcat37 i can see all your lines. Is that the easy at home tests? They’re really sensitive 10iui I think so you’ll see on them before clear blue and they’re pink dye which is better than a blue dye test. The only other ones as good are frers.
i got a positive last Monday vvv faint lines then got clearer lines on Friday and Saturday. Not tested since. Period now definitely late. This is my 4th BFP and I only have one DC so tbh I can’t let myself be happy or believe I will have a baby but I hope so. MMC march 21, DC April 22 and chemical sept 22. So we will see. I thought I would be much more stressed and I am but at the same time I can’t change the outcome and Im basically peeing on a fiver with every frer so what will be will be I guess. With DC and sept 22 chemical I was sick before a positive test. With my mmc and this pregnancy I wasn’t so I have a bad feeling. Hoping for the best but preparing myself for the worst.

ttcat37 · 17/01/2023 15:14

@justwantobeamum yes they’re Easy at Home and the really thin ones are Wondfo.
Sorry about your losses 💐 crossing everything for you!

@log51 congratulations!! 🥳 fingers crossed for a sticky one.. 🥰

it’s interesting you say that about the symptoms because I was the same last time with Ewcm, cramping, boobs, headaches… the lot! So it’ll be interesting to see what the next cycles bring. This time I’ve not really had anything so assuming im out but who bloody knows. Due to test on the 23rd so keeping fingers crossed as A LOT can happen in a week - as we all know 😊

thanks for the info! Xx

Roxxybabe · 17/01/2023 20:50

HeY ladies. i’m back after a little break from MN following my chemical back in December, I was pretty upset and ended up deleting my account and having a break but feeling better and back on the TTC train.

CD 20 and 4DPO today and no testing for my until my period is atleast a couple of days late, making myself stick to this following my chemical as I just don’t think it’s worth the anxiety. It’s crazy to think that on CD21 last month I got a BFP on a frer and spent xmas thinking I was pregnant only to start bleeding on CD29 😔 but i’m feeling alot more positive now. Atleast I know we can concieve. Trying to be alot more chill now. We’ll see how long that lasts though 😬😂
