@LuckyMoonstone oh how odd then 🤔 when's the next doctor appointment?

@TheBirdintheCave it is but it also isn't 🙈 it never happened in the first two pregnancies only this last one which was a total disaster so I don't know if it's a good symptom to have or not 😂 I'm such a pessimist 🤦🏼‍♀️ prob means nothing at all and is too early at 5 dpo though I did get it at 6DPO last time. Wish I didn't have all these symptoms to compare it to they are so fresh in my brain my only symptom with DS was sore boobs but I have no sore boobs at all 🤷🏼‍♀️

@MrsJGrealish oh yes I love new hair day doesn't it just cheer you right up ❤️ my hair always feels so light and floaty 😂 I can never get it the same

LuckyMoonstone · 05/01/2023 11:49

@bringmearainbow it won’t be until Feb with my current GP, I’ve got to see how many tablets I’ve got left and work out when to book in 😅

im thinking of taking vitamin B6 for progesterone, but should I only take it after ovulation or all the time? I don’t want to make it too high so I don’t have enough estrogen to ovulate… or is a vitamin not going to have that much of an effect?

monsteramunch · 05/01/2023 12:45

Hi all, 12DPO here with super sore boobs but no other symptoms.

I'm surprising myself as I'm not even vaguely tempted to test until AF is due (in two days) but I just can't bare to see a blank space any sooner than I need to / any more times than I need to after so long. Bastarding blank spaces.

And I'll do a digital so I'm not obsessing over lines (never even had a sniff but nervous I will and then it will turn out to just have been wishful thinking) as it's makes me so anxious.

bringmearainbow · 05/01/2023 14:42

@LuckyMoonstone oooh I don't know some ladies in my office take it to help them balance their cycles and they said it worked so I think it must do something 🤔 or maybe that's just plain b complex 🤷🏼‍♀️ it's b something 😂 god I'm rubbish

@monsteramunch your doing so well lovely you got this only a couple more days 💪🏼 wish I was that strong to wait but I am def not 🤦🏼‍♀️

LuckyMoonstone · 05/01/2023 14:49

@bringmearainbow it’s B6 specifically that keeps coming up in all these progesterone/fertility articles online, and I’ve read that it should be taken every day of the cycle so I’ll give that a try!

TheBirdintheCave · 05/01/2023 14:55

Good luck Monster!

I'll need to buy some cheapies I think as I have to take a test a few weeks after the surgery but I really don't want to have any in the house afterwards as I don't want to be tempted to use them the next time we try. Maybe I'll need to get my husband to hide them...

MrsJGrealish · 05/01/2023 16:11

@monsteramunch ahh good luck xx

FfayeN · 05/01/2023 16:28

@bringmearainbow nope the bizarre bleeding is still there! Good news about the heartburn it would be amazing if you've caught straight away!

@LuckyMoonstone could it be your lining was just thicker this month? I don't know why hormones would change the amount as such, just the timing? I've not heard about the VitB

@monsteramunch good luck 😌

@MrsJGrealish I've got to wait another 4 weeks for my hair appt, bloody useless!!!

@TheBirdintheCave oh yes you'll deffo get the stockings! I did the same though, shaved for the op so I didn't look like a gorilla lol x

monsteramunch · 05/01/2023 18:29

Thanks so much @bringmearainbow @TheBirdintheCave @MrsJGrealish @FfayeN Flowers

Having little lightning bolt pains in my lower right side the last few hours. Other than those pains, much more CM than usual during ovulation window (confirmed by tests) and ever since, plus VERY sore boobs, no other symptoms to write home about.

12DPO today and two days til AF is due. God I hope so much that this might be a lucky month for us at last...

FfayeN · 05/01/2023 18:29

So I jumped on the scales this evening...Only reason I say is in the last 10weeks (since I last did) I've been pregnant for 5 more weeks, had a miscarriage and had Christmas....and I've put on 11.5lb. That sounds like a lot, but when I think what I've been though I'm not actually that fussed! Back to better eating from now on though (as sad as that makes me!!!)

OP posts:
TheBirdintheCave · 05/01/2023 18:35

@FfayeN That's not a lot at all. We don't have scales in the house so I have no idea what I weigh. It's probably for the best 😂

MrsJGrealish · 05/01/2023 18:44

@TheBirdintheCave @FfayeN I literally just judge by clothes tightness at the minute 🤣 had to up a bra size there but that's a normal thing for luteal phase 🤷‍♀️ they will deflate soon enough

Tingly bleach atm loving it..make me blonde 👱‍♀️ 😊

bringmearainbow · 05/01/2023 18:48

@FfayeN oh no is it about the same amount or heavier? It would be amazing but also extremely scary 🙈 I just don't know what to think at this point really it's just so odd that I happen to have had this symptom again unless this is a new pms symptom for me now 😂 oh that's not bad at all! I got on mine this morning too I've put on 3kg since I last weighed at the beginning of the last pregnancy so end of July I was actually dreading it because I feel absolutely huge atm I'm still living in leggings think I just need to work a bit harder on not eating chocolate 😂

@monsteramunch they all sound like very good symptoms have you got lots to keep you occupied for the next couple of days?

bunnykins123 · 05/01/2023 18:57

@FfayeN that's not much at all! Don't beat yourself up about a bit of weight gain, life's too short to be on the scales anyway. @TheBirdintheCave that's the best way to be!

@bringmearainbow I live in leggings too. It's depressing not being able to do up buttons on jeans 😂

@monsteramunch sounds really promising! Got everything crossed for you 🤞

@LuckyMoonstone it defo could be if you have a hormonal imbalance. Have you had your hormones checked on CD3 and CD21?

namechange8653838 · 05/01/2023 19:11

@bunnykins123 no I’ve not had anything in the past, this is the first time I’ve ever been to the docs for fertility issues. Hopefully will get something like that done at this private place I’m going to

LuckyMoonstone · 05/01/2023 19:13

@bunnykins123 whoops I just replied to you with a name change I did for another thread 😂

bringmearainbow · 05/01/2023 19:49

@bunnykins123 I literally lived in jeans before I was pregnant and by about week 6/7 I just couldn't handle it anymore and I haven't been able to put them on since the muffin top is immense 😂 I think I'll have to get a few more pairs because I feel so limited and I actually hated leggings before this year thought they looked horrid on me 😂

bringmearainbow · 05/01/2023 19:49

@bunnykins123 how have you been feeling?

FfayeN · 05/01/2023 19:55

@MrsJGrealish yep, my clothes are tight 😂.

@bringmearainbow it's weird, it was nothing last night, then this morning was back again (I'm talking like 2 tablespoons over the day probably) and keeps going brown, then red, then brown 🙄. That's not bad at all!!! Especially with all you've been through. It's hard to keep active and eat well when life throws shit your way.

OP posts:
bunnykins123 · 05/01/2023 20:55

@LuckyMoonstone haha I was wondering who that was 😂 defo ask for CD3 tests (that's LH, estrogen, FSH, TSH and a few others) and CD21 which is progesterone. If they are within range then you can be reassured. There are other tests such as clotting but you may need to be referred to the RMC for that (my GP didn't test them but I do know some ladies have been lucky with that at the GP)

@bringmearainbow muffin tops are also so uncomfortable! I'm all about the comfort - give me a pair of leggings and baggy jumper any day! You can get some lovely jeggings too which is a bonus! I'm ok! No updates for me, other than feeling like I'm actually loosing my mind overthinking absolutely everything.

@FfayeN what CD are you? It could be changes in hormones. I find during AF I get 2 days of bleeding, 1 day of not much then it picks back up again. I read online it's something to do with fluctuations in estrogen?

bringmearainbow · 05/01/2023 20:56

@FfayeN oh not too much wonder if it's a little pool of blood like I had 🤔 well assuming I had 😂 I have upped my steps the past 6/7 weeks so assuming that's helped shift a little of it too the poor dog has been dragged out for walks at 8.30/9pm he's like wtf I was sleeping 😂

LuckyMoonstone · 05/01/2023 21:06

I think I’ve had another early MC/CP 😕 I’m testing positive despite today being day 7 of what seems to be a normal flow period! Still bleeding slightly now. Top test is from half 6 this evening, my wee was very concentrated so got quite a dark line. Bottom test is a couple of hours later when it was a bit more diluted so not as good.
I did a test last Friday on the first day of AF and it was stark negative so I’m really confused as to why, because with my last CP I got a positive two days before I started bleeding. This is just ridiculous. It better not be a bloody ectopic again.

POAS: With only the IC in stock...someone help us 🤣
bunnykins123 · 05/01/2023 21:09

@LuckyMoonstone omg! I wasn't expecting that! How has your flow been? It's not uncommon to have a normal bleed when pregnant. What made you prompt to test? I would wait until tomorrow to see if the line is darker and if so would probably call the epu and see what they say.

LuckyMoonstone · 05/01/2023 21:10

Forgot to say the reason I tested- boobs hurt which is unusual for this point in my cycle, I’ve been feeling a little bit sick and gagging in the morning when I take my vitamins, and smells/tastes have been weird. And just had a feeling that I should test.

LuckyMoonstone · 05/01/2023 21:11

@bunnykins123 the line tonight was darker than any of the FMU tests I did with my last pregnancy, but I still feel like it’s not right. Will definitely keep testing and try to get referred to EPU, they definitely will want to see me after what happened last time
