@TheBirdintheCave oh rubbish go away brown spotting 🙈 what time is your scan Friday?

I'm on CD8 and I still have my period 🙄 you will it to come and then bam you wish it would hurry up and go 😂 also I am not used to having to deal with this for 8 days im a 2/3 day kinda gal 😂

@mummatara 9.30 I think. Very early in the morning.

It always seems to happen when I'm out at restaurants and then it ruins my lunch 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️

@TheBirdintheCave ah sorry to hear you're spotting again. Is it a lot or just a smidge? Try not to worry about symptoms - they massively come and go. How many weeks are you now? I'm guessing you're nearly at 9 weeks now when symptoms do tend to trail off anyway?

@mummatara oh no! Is it actually a period or just spotting? After my miscarriages, my period lasts waaay longer now. I tend to bleed for about 5 days and then spot anything up to cd11. So weird! Had lots of tests, absolutely no reason for it!

@bunnykins123 Nine weeks today I think. The spotting was just the same as the last time. Brown streaks in CM.

I think I worry about my symptoms as they were so bad with my son and the sickness went on til I was 19 weeks. I know every pregnancy is different but with the spotting and lesser sickness this is more like the MMC than my successful pregnancy :/ Really can't imagine this going well on Friday :(

It feels like every time I let myself get a little excited something bad happens 😢

@TheBirdintheCave least it's a nice early one ❤️ my symptoms have been very different all 3 times so as hard as it is I don't think they are a very good indication of success or not

@bunnykins123tbh it's still a very light period a bit more than when i started though so I think those first few days it just took a while to get going 🙄 I hope it's not going to stick around this long for good I quite liked my 2/3 day ones 😂

@TheBirdintheCave I can't imagine how anxious you are, not long to go now, have you much planned to keep you busy before the scan Friday? It's certainly a rollercoaster. Xx

Well...DH has been sick for 4 days. What CD am I on? Who knows. What do my OPKs look like? Again who knows.

@mummatara it could have been that the first couple of days were spotting and your actual period kicked in a few days afterwards. I read online to count cd1 as the first day of bleeding, not spotting?

@TheBirdintheCave if it's the same, then I'm sure it's nothing more than just a bit of irritation. But I do understand your fear! With my mmc, my morning sickness was absolutely horrific - I really don't believe symptoms are an indicator of much at all! At least you will get some answers on Friday, got everything crossed for you!

@LuckyMoonstone haha I'm pining for work..who would have thought it. Swear to god it's man flu. He actually sought me out to tell me he had the flu. I just said if you had the flu you couldn't get out of bed 🙄

Yes Christmas was lovely until his moaning drove my sons back to their student flats

I think AF is here 🙌🏻. Not quite a flow, but the spotting/brown before. Means my second peak must have been my actual ovulation. @mummatara I don't know how you did it, the last 4 days have driven me mad! 😘 xx

@bunnykins123 yes could def have been spotting I had 3/4 days of light only when I wiped brown/pink mucus and after that it was actually showing in a pad though it's still very mucusy which is just very odd. It's just a strange strange AF I've never had one like it it's like I'm bleeding but it's mixed in with CM so it makes it seem like I'm not bleeding. It will end when it ends 🙄 I did get DH to DTD with me in the hopes it might open things up a little 😂 and there's been some improvement but only in the amount not the weird consistency 🤷🏼‍♀️

Got a flashing smiley on this mornings opk wonder how many days that will go on for I think it was 8 last time 🙄 though since AF is still in the house I wonder if it will delay things a bit 🤔 odd that I've got a flashing smiley on day 2 of taking them though so maybe it won't delay anything

@mummatara sounds like maybe the first few days were just spotting. I guess that could be hormones making it a bit more heavy in texture? Hopefully it'll go back to normal over the next few cycles. What meds are you taking? Oh god, I hope it's not 8 days 🫣 those cycles are actually torture!

@bunnykins123 no meds haven't had any investigations. I did consider going private after the last one but we decided we would see if 3rd time lucky. I'm taking prenatal, Vit c, dha and I was taking ubiquinol but I ran out beg dec and just didn't get round to ordering more yet coz that one is so £££ isn't it 🙄 these hormones have a lot to answer for 😂 I don't think we'll go too wild with dtd like last time by the time I got to peak it was so hard to get the enthusiasm 🤦🏼‍♀️

@mummatara haha yep save the enthusiasm for nearer the time 😂. Today is CD 33 but exactly two weeks after my second peak OPK. Though my temps were unreadable lol xx

@LuckyMoonstone thats really frustrating for you, I can only say keep temping so you can see what's occurring over the month but I've also had a friend who's charts were crazy and they still had two healthy pregnancies so some charts just don't read as Google says they should xx

@MrsCristianoX I have been thinking about you, sorry to hear you've been unwell and it is hard to be sympathetic when men are ill, so no need to change 😂

Feel totally normal this morning. All that's left is some slight boob soreness but that will be the progesterone pessaries so not a real symptom I can rely on. I've told my husband we need to start imagining as if this has all gone wrong and that I'm not pregnant any more so that we can deal with it easier when they tell us on Friday. He is now banned from talking to the baby and I wish I'd had that rare steak I wanted yesterday at the restaurant 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️

It must have died. I can't think of another reason (along with the slow growth of the last scan) that I would have lost all of my symptoms.

No more spotting or anything.

I'm so sad 😭 I was so hopeful at the start. I'm kicking myself for forgetting to try taking aspirin as what if that might have made a difference. Who knows how long it'll take to get pregnant again. Or do we just blow our savings on IVF? I'll definitely have to have a frag test for my husband. So many things to think about now.

@TheBirdintheCave having been in your position before at the same gestation, it's right at the time when symptoms can go anyway so it is a real head scramble to know the cause until the scan. All you can do is deal with the here and now. It's good to plan ahead for the next steps to protect your own mental health, I just really hope come Friday the planning will all be for nothing and it will be ok 🤞🏼. Try not to be too sad (it's hard I know but if you can, sit in the middle ground until you know for sure) 😘 xx
