Just a supportive thread for those of us who have been TTC for over a year. New faces are welcome. Feel free to vent, cry, laugh, ask silly questions, seek advice and talk about anything.

I had the same ! Was drinking gaviscon from the bottle🤣 … Leo didn’t come out with a huge amount of hair though so the old wives tale wasn’t true in my case 😆

I'm 35+1 now. Meant to be having my hospital tour and birth plan with the perinatal mental health team today but they cancelled it yesterday afternoon because they got their calendar wrong and they aren't at the hospital today.

This appointment was booked on the 4th of January... I'm so, so angry and have no idea when or if they're going to be able to reschedule it. Ironically, it's made my mental health a lot worse 😂

@TheBirdintheCave they don't do tours where I am anymore. They just direct you to instagram. I don't think the very tick list 'birth plan' was done until 37/38 weeks. And spoiler .... it didn't go to plan 🙃, and my plan was a very loose one. Enjoy your last month or so!

@FlyOnTheWall89 Oh yeah mine says 'preferences' on the top of it instead of 'plan' for that reason. I'm just editing my old one from my son. I sound like such an asshole 😂

We did get to go for the tour today in the end, the midwife (who was really nice) just met us after lunch instead. The MLU rooms are very, very nice. Double beds and pools in all three of them! Just need the baby to not be breech now so we actually get to use one! 😤

Hi @Carla2601 I'm as good as can be! On the first FET of our third round of IVF and it's just failed ☹️ hoping we have better luck with our remaining frostie and if not it's onto IVF round 4. Trying not to give up but it's definitely hard. Think I may be the only one left in this thread still trying for a BFP. Hope you're doing ok 💗 I know you're always in the background as a cheerleader even after all this time! xx

Ah @lemons44 thats so hard, you’ve been through SO much. I will be keeping everything crossed for you for your next frostie to be the stickiest frostie in the whole freezer ❤️❤️❤️

Hey @lemons44 in not sure if I’ve posted here before but I was definitely following the thread. Just wanted to let you know you’re not alone. We’re just starting our third round. I’ve had 4 transfers (2 fresh, 2 frozen). Not sure how I’m feeling at the moment. Wishing us both lots of luck x

I'm in labour currently. Have been since 8pm Wednesday night following a sweep that afternoon 🤬 Just cross now 😂

@lemons44 Just to chime in, haven't been on this thread in a while, but I joined initially and we're still no bfp too, you're not alone! We're doing IVF now, stimming atm.

@lemons44 aw you're not the only one left I'm still here waiting for my BFP I'm around 3 years TTC now. Never thought I'd be saying that! :( gets harder every month that goes by. Never give up hope 🙏🏻

Can't believe I'm typing this, but just found out I'm pregnant with number 2. Completely accidental and totally unexpected after the struggles with number 1 and resorting to letrozole. I think I'm going to be in disbelief for a while 😂

My girlie is five months old now. I've no idea where the time has gone. My last post on this thread was the morning of her birthday 😂

Thought I would pop on and update - baby Finlay is now 3 weeks old. It was a tough few weeks adjusting but I'm finding my feet now and getting into the swing of if. Just cannot believe he's now here over 3 years since we started TTC and all the upset and heartache.

@BritInNZ Huge congratulations - you hear this so many times it's madness isn't it.

@Koalie - best of luck with your FET 🙏

Hi all - just checking in to see how everyone is doing? Finlay is almost 6 now!

@NatW2021Marcella is 10 months now :) She’s desperate to crawl but can’t get the hang of it yet 😂 Very chatty, very grabby and so cuddly. I’m besotted 🥰

@NatW2021 only just seen your post for some reason, I didn't get a notification! How are you finding motherhood?

Our FET worked! Leo is 16 months and I am 26 weeks pregnant with a little girl! :) This will be our last .. I find pregnancy so unbelievably hard and doing it with a toddler is not for the faint hearted haha. Feeling so very blessed though.

My first is now 2 years and 1 month and I’m 28 weeks pregnant with baby number 2. Baby number 2 wasn’t planned and was a VERY big surprise - which is kind of mental considering how long it took to conceive the first one! Glad everyone has their babies - what a wild ride it’s been!
