@lemons44 Thanks, Lemon :) Hopefully we can go again in September with the 4AB and we'll try naturally in August in the mean time.

@lemons44 @Koalie @TheBirdintheCave Thank you for your support, I spoke to the dr this morning who suggested retesting my AMH when my period arrives as it jumped so dramatically (9.8 April 22) to 20 (May 23) either way they will up my meds but it would be interesting to see what it is now. As follicle count a lot less this cycle.

I am feeling a little better today but still absolutely gutted but I know it's for the best and it would have been worse getting this outcome after egg collection as that would be one of my cycles used up. I'm just gutted I didn't go for the meds included package now as I'll have to pay for meds and also if I need another cycle likeky I'll be on max meds so it'll cost more. Not much I can do now I'll get over it but sick of spending money on all things fertility atm! X

@lemons44 - how you getting on, have started yet?

I'm due to start again on my next cycle I had my AMH restested this week and it's now 10.7 it was 9.7 last April and 20 in May so I think May was definitely a fluke and thats probably why the medication wasn't high enough in July aa my AMH was alot lower. I find it so strange. Just waiting for the dreaded medication invoice.

Am on CD21 I think, I don't know anymore. I am tracking, I just have no hope now. If this doesn't work, then I'll be going for the next FET next month.

@NatW2021 Excited for you to be starting again :D I hope things go smoothly this time.

I'm ok, just waiting to ovulate for our natural try this month. Should be any day now :)

Hi @NatW2021 sorry for a late reply. We have finished our second round now but unfortunately we are bracing ourselves for another failed round. Seems we are having some issues getting from day 3 to day 5. We transferred on day 3 again in the hopes my body will be a better incubator, however none of our others got to day 5. Therefore expectations for this transfer are low ☹️ we can't do anything to improve DHs sperm as it's surgically retrieved. It's all just pretty hard.

I'm just waiting to start again next cycle in about 2 weeks, im going on holiday in a few days and need to take one of meds with me as i will be like due to start on the last day and don't want to miss another cycle. I've had my meds upped to max dose as I had my AMH retested and it's come back down to 10.7 from 20 in May so I think it was a total fluke and probs why I didn't respond aswell on a lower dose in July.

The money it's costing just makes me feel sick 🤢 as just had to pay 2k for more meds with again no guarantees as i dont know how I'm going to respond. All I can do is pray 🙏 x

Thanks guys. It's so bloody hard to keep positive and I think this is the first time we are starting to lose some hope that we will ever get our family.

I know @NatW2021 the costs are excruciating. We were so so lucky that so far we had our 2 NHS rounds, however from here on in it will be privately funded. It must feel especially frustrating for you have needed to cancel the last cycle!

I really think your protocol changes will help and work for you this time. Sperm issues aside, they really upped my meds and I had a much better response this time (13 eggs last time but only 3 mature, 16 eggs this time but 13 mature). IVF really is an art and there's lots of tweaking and changes for each person. At least they now have your AMH and how you reacted before and building on that knowledge will hopefully help you have a much better chance of success this time!

Got a surprise natural BFP on Sunday. Trying to stay calm but the anxiety is unreal. Caved and did another test today at 13dpo (was going to wait until tomorrow). Not sure about progression but trying not to lose all hope.

13DPO is still early and that line looks quite strong to me. It's stronger than any line I've had on a pink dye test at 17DPO.

@TheBirdintheCave NO FREAKING WAY OMG CONGRATULATIONS THIS IS THE BEST NEWS. I have been waiting for some positive news on this group. Keeping everything crossed for you xx

@SarahShorty Yeah I keep forgetting that I'm not even four weeks until tomorrow 🤦🏻‍♀️ Just want to see a line as dark as the control so I can feel a bit better about it.

@TheBirdintheCave that's amazing!!! So happy we finally got another BFP in the group - hopefully the start of many!

Those first few weeks are scary times (but everything thereafter is too!) so just try and relax and enjoy the moment x

@lemons44 how are you doing? Do you have any update on the second cycle?

I haven’t posted in ages because things haven’t been great; I finally had my laparoscopy/hysteroscopy in June (after it had been cancelled in April because I got covid) and as well as finding uterine adhesions they found a polyp, bowel adhesions, uterine septum, c section scar defect, my womb, tubes and ovaries scarred to my omentum pulling them all out of my pelvis into my abdomen, an active infection in 1 tube and both tubes blocked with scar tissue. Luckily the surgeon was incredible and he sorted it all apart from bowel adhesions and the scar tissue hasn’t returned.

We’ve just abandoned our second superovulation cycle due to no response and I’m finding it hard; we’ve already spent around £15k and don’t feel any closer to a baby.

anyway. Sorry for that ramble! Hope everyone else is doing ok and fingers crossed for more positive news soon xxx

@Netflixnchilli gosh I am so sorry to hear this! That must have been a real shock that they found all that. Have u had time to heal from the surgery? Totally understand how disheartening it all is.

Our second round of IVF failed sadly ☹️ I'm just not sure it's ever going to work for us to be honest. It's hard to keep hopeful x

@lemons44 - sorry to hear about your cycle? Are you planning on starting again soon? Have you looked at clinics abroad they seem far more advanced when things aren't text book? A friend if mine who is with an AMH of 0.4 went abroad recently and it worked first time fir her.

I'm on my way with this ivf cycle, im on day 9 I'm on max Stims and have 7 over15mm then a further 5 from 10mm up to 13mm so things have improved since last cycle but I'm very average and not going to get great numbers on collection. I'll be lucky to get 12 if all the others catch up. Been for a scan this morning and it's likely I'll be going for collection Thursday.

Just trying to remember im 35 with a very average AMH so got to grateful for what I have an hope and pray we get eggs in each follicle then its a waiting game.

And thank you :) I'm 5+3 today. Very glad my 'tick over' day is a Thursday as the weekends go so fast I'm half way through the week before I know it. Got a scan booked for seven weeks on the 28th so hoping I make it to then.
