Hi all,

Anyone want to join on the long tww? I am currently either 5 or 7 dpo. I had a solid smiley on a CB on morning of saturday 29th which would put ovulation subday.. ish but then a very clear positive on the easy@home the evening of monday 21st so ovulation tuesday. So i am confused as to when i actuall ovulated! DTD on sunday monday and tuesday...hopefully i got caught it.

Felt a big pop in lower abdomen yesterday but maybe my imagination and wishfull thinking!

Anyone else waiting "impatiently" 😂

6 days including today. Maybe this means AF is on her way :(

Ok so...sorry if TMI. Today is 9 dpo but last night i checked my cervix and my cm is a light pink. I dont tend to get spotting before AF and she isnt due for 5 days. Could this be implantation??? Or AF coming early. I havent had this in previous months!

@FullofFaith hi, I read your post, I am so sorry you have had so long to wait, I can only imagine how tough that is, I really hope this is your time! And the cup sounds like such a good idea, it makes sense that more sperm are there and so more chance of reaching the egg. And having more cervical mucus is good too as it's meant to be less before AF Sending baby dust 💗 x

@2022TTCBaby1 oooh, That is really early for pre AF spotting! Have you ever had this before?

Also, I am 9dpo today, took 2 different cheap dip tests and I swear I could see faint lines, so I took a dearer one and I feel like there is a line, feeling a bit silly because i'm only 9dpo and I think maybe it's colourless but still, can anyone else see?

@Sunnymummy3 i thought it was early for AF too! I have never had this so i am getting excited when i know i shouldnt! I just ordered 2 more frer haha i might take one in the morning but might still be too early.
I dont have very good line eyes but possibly something on the CB?? Amazon have 2 first response early detecition for £6.50! With prime delivery! Get on it haha

Thank you so much. It hasn't been easy and it has indeed been a long journey. I still have this tired feeling and my head doesn't feel the best but I wouldn't call it a headache. I have very mild dull aching this morning, nothing near to the pain I've been experiencing in the last few days. (My ultrasounds have revealed no endometriosis and no cysts)

Having studied your Clearblue, there does appear to be a very faint vertical line. I need to do some research on how soon post ovulation a hcg test can detect conception. I will also ask my midwifery colleagues.

I think AF is makng an appearance early. Although no AF pains which i usually get pretty bad!! Also....weird....i have a fluttery feeling in my vagina hahaha almost like mild muscle spasms 😂😂😂🤦🏽‍♀️

@2022TTCBaby1 if this is the first time you have had it then that's a really good sign? Hoping for you when you test. When will you test? That's such a good price, thank you, I will order some and just buy 1 in the shop today to take first thing in the morning... wish I had of kept the contents of my little pot for the dip tests and then i could of took that today. Anyways I should be patient.

@FullofFaith That is a really high % increase isn't it but it really makes sense, kind of like you said the hips raised after but more practical. When will you test do you think? You must of had such such an emotional rolercoaster with everything so thank you for taking your time to look and research for me etc, you are obviously a kind person.

I am 100% sure I am 9dpo because I had my bbt change as well as cramping and positive opk. I have had a really disturbed sleep last night and the night before which is why I studied the cheap tests a bit more.
My first early symptoms with last pregnancy's were aching lower back and light cramping which I don't have right now.

Aw sorry guys, I have just talked all about myself, I just can't get it out of my head now and am probably just being crazy and going to be embarrassed tomorrow but I don't have anyone in real life I could obsess with right now, glad we have eachother to support.

I wonder are there any more symptoms or testing etc on the thread?

I will be testing in the morning also, although still think it may be too early.

have you been Tracking BBT for long? this is my second cycle of doing it and the first of doing it everyday. I have had a consistent temperature for the last week but it went up by 0.08 yesterday then another 0.11 this morning. I’m 10 or 11DPO and in my last cycle my temperature had dropped by now. I really don’t understand it but I know a second rise can be a sign of pregnancy but I did a FRER this morning and it was negative. It’s all so confusing!

@FullofFaith how did you get on using the fertilily? I can’t seem to get the hang of it and just managed to create a vacuum and get it stuck in the wrong place!

I started charting in May, I wanted to be ready before ttc. I was a total novice at the start but now I see it really works, and is super accurate.
Ooh thats strange you saying that because my bbt chart is different this month too... normally after ovulation it is really jagged but same as you this month has stayed high and a more even line with a small peak ... will send you a picture of mine from this month to see.
That sounds really positive for you! But I remember reading that the positive test depends on when you implanted before hcg is present so if you implant later then your test will be positive later?

@Sunnymummy3 thank you for your kind words. Yes, I am always trying to help people. I hope you do mind... it was only the image as I didn't want my colleague to know I'm on this forum and start questioning me everyday lol.

So... she is a very experienced midwife with 2 children of her own. She has shared many stories with me. I got her to review your HCG tests and your CB. My question to her was "can HCG be detected at 9DPO" in a nutshell, yes it is possible but she has asked if you could wait a couple more days before testing again. The stress of testing to frequently too soon can have an affect.

To protect my emotions, I won't be testing until next week Tuesday 15 Nov. According to my app this is when my TWW ends and if AF doesn't arrive by then I will feel better.

Still having mild cramping as I type and I have been checking my face for that one period spot 😅

@Pixiedusted regarding the Fertilily, well...

😔 First time pushed it in and thought hmmm okay, a little uncomfortable. I was annoyed because in doing so, the sperm came out.

I then got DH to give it ago but it was a struggle. TBH I got a little frustrated with him and said "you're not pushing it in the curve of my vag". Obviously it's not designed as one straight tunnel and also the way I was laying to prevent the leak (hips up) whilst he was pushing didn't help.

Luckily this was all before ovulation just to get the hang of it.

The next time i done it, straight in, positioned at cervix, really comfortable and when pulling on the end it popped down straight away. I was well pleased.

The next time, i just couldn't do it. By this time, I went in the bathroom and cried. I actually wanted to scream. Went back to bed and went to sleep.

Next day I told myself if other people can do it, I'm not an alien, it can't be that bad. I also had to get it in my head that during pregnancy people are always poking and prodding down there so I just got on with it.

It worked in the end. Don't get me wrong was difficult trying to get it out every time but you just take your time, pinch it gently and pull it out. I done this slowly so that I could assess how much semen fluid was left. Whilst it was in, I would also check to ensure there was no leakage and if I pushed gently that nothing would come out.

Continue using, don't give up!

(I kept it in a lot longer that 20 mins each time. Research says it take 30-45 mins for sperm to reach egg)

Failed to say... I haven't been monitoring BBT. Only LH surge via ovulation tests. Because of my age, I may get hot flushes. I don't want to confuse that with a change in temp. I am more interested in what is going on with my hormones, ovaries etc ❤️

sounds like there are some quite promising symptoms on the thread, too. Can’t wait for the BFPs to start coming through! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

I don’t feel nauseous anymore but have been so lightheaded yesterday and today. We are doing some very dusty work in the house though so I wonder if it’s that but I keep having to sit down - and having some sugar in the form of chocolate helps, too. I’m now thinking I’m not pregnant but it’s still so early (4DPO, I think) so who knows. I’m sick of this TWW already 😂 Got quite a busy weekend ahead so hopefully that’ll help.

Any testing going on today?

I ordered some FRERs from Amazon this morning, my idea is that they arrive tomorrow which will be 8dpo, and I’ll use it on Saturday with FMU which will be 9dpo, then depending on what it shows I’ll do the next on the Monday being 11dpo. I’m being honest with myself lol I know I won’t be able to resist testing 😬

I’ve just had my day 21 bloods, this is my 3rd cycle on letrozole, I’ve been increasing the dose each month because my progesterone was 24 on 2.5mg and 31 on 5mg but this cycle when I took 7.5mg it’s come back as 72 so more than doubled! I’m so relieved, I feel like we do actually have a chance now!

I wouldnt have even noticed the pink cm if i hadnt checked my cervix. It isnt coming out when i wipe (sorry tmi) so i am hoping it is implantation. I keep getting shooting pains in my boobies too! I shouldnt be getting my hopes up!

I’m going to try not to test again until Monday at the earliest, according to my apps this will be 14dpo. My LP was 11 days last month so I’m predicted to come on on Saturday.

I really hope there are lots of BFP’s on this thread too!

@Pixiedusted really trying to hold off testing and not get excited as its probably nothing. But cant help it when i havent had this before!!

@FullofFaith Not at all, thank you for taking the time, that is sensible, I will take 1 in the morning then no more for a few days. And I think what you are doing is the right thing too as you said it's a protection to wait. Ha ha you are fortunate you only get the 1 spot, i get a couple each time 🙂

I am so interested to see what happens over the next few days with us all. I have had a lovely bath with lavender and going to bed now to try and get a good sleep and not to obsess over everything. I will be up early to take my first response

Very much a BFN for me :( thinking the pink cm is possibly AF as still there when checking cervix, although this morning i am very dry and vagina walls seem very swollen so defo think its AF. I knew i shouldnt have got my hopes up.

Anyone else tested?

10dpo today, I took a first response and 2 cheap tests and you can barely see the line on the fr, don't think it will show up in the picture. My cheap tests were better lines but fr normally most sensitive I thought.. and my clearblue from yesterday is actually darker than it. Not sure whats going on, or if it is it going to be a chemical...self inflicted from testing early anyways.

So yes @2022TTCBaby1 it is a bit too early so maybe you will have better success in a day or two. 🙂
