Hey ladies,

Thought I would create a thread for those testing towards the end of Nov/early December.

I'm CD2, TTC first baby. On cycle 5.

fingers crossed for us all!

Heyyy ladies! I have been quietly keeping up with the last thread since my AF arrived and I was out! Couldn’t help but feel for you yesterday Roxy 🤗

Fingers crossed this is our month! ❤️

Roxybabe · 02/11/2022 17:55

@AliceD7 aww thanks, feel stupid now really for thinking that an indent was a BFP … silly me!

feeling alot more positive today and ready for the next month of trying!

when are we all due to ovulate?

anyone got any plans or trying anything new for this month, I’m thinking about SMEP, but think I won’t start it too early, I’m scared of DH tiring before fertile week!

AliceD7 · 02/11/2022 18:03

Aw no I was hopefully for you too!

Sorry if I sound stupid but what is SMEP? Ha sorry getting used to all these abbreviations!

Roxybabe · 02/11/2022 18:09

@AliceD7 Oh it’s so weird, I was completely new to all this lingo 4 months ago! I was like why is everyone talking in code 😂

SMEP is sperm meets egg plan. I think you DTD every other day from around cycle day 8 or 10 then up until your first positive OPK, then once you get a positive OPK you DTD that day, the following day and the day after, then skip a day and then the day after. Making me tired just writing it 😂 I doubt we will do it that much tbf!

ChipAndDip · 02/11/2022 18:12

Checking in here too! 👏

I think I’m cycle day 2, but I had lots of brown spotting for 8 days before so I’m a little confused!

Cycle 6, TTC #1. Had a MMC on cycle 2 and nothing since. I’m 35 so the plan is to try properly this month, chill out a bit in December and then if nothing’s happened by Jan I’ll make a doctors appt in the new year to get some fertility checks.

Looking forward to keeping up to date with you all! x

Roxybabe · 02/11/2022 18:21

Welcome @ChipAndDip

Sorry about MMC 😢 fingers crossed for this cycle!

Hey guys! We are I'm first cycle here. Had coil removed last month and got first period on 27th. I'm doing opk but nothing to suggest I'm ovulating yet. Not sure what my cycle is yet or when I'm likely to ovulate! DTD every other night just now I'm hope something will work!

EmmRach · 02/11/2022 18:32

Hi everyone!!

Joining in if that's ok :)

I am CD1 today. Although perhaps not as it might be spotting as opposed to AF. I'm never really sure. So probably CD1 tomorrow 🤣

I'm due to ovulate CD18, which will be about 20th Nov. I've a short cycle and a short LP. So AF due November 28th.

Let's hope for lots of good news on this thread this month!!

ChloeN · 02/11/2022 18:39

I’m CD7, normally ovulate around day 14ish but it’s been slightly later lately! I’m taking a break from testing and have no plans this month, just going to hope for the best! The only thing I am doing is taking new supplements and using the proov tests after ovulation to confirm it’s happening!

Tbark · 02/11/2022 18:40

Hi @Roxybabe thanks for setting up the next group 🥰 it's so lovely to be able to support each other on this crazy journey. And please don't feel silly....I convinced myself an evap line was a faint positive and even inverted it!!!!!

I'm on CD6 so just ahead But my period is definitely behaving oddly this month....seems much shorter than the usual 9 days I'm used to but I've just started taking Proceive Max so we'll see if that changes my ovulation date!

ChipAndDip · 02/11/2022 18:47

My cycles are all over the place so I could ovulate any day from CD17-CD28, so I might well end up being the last to test on this thread - you’ll all be long gone 😂

This month I’m trying proceive supplements for him and her and I’m also going to get back into yoga and meditation, which I’ve been a bit slack with over the past 6 months. Will see if any of that makes a difference 🤞

Krisnov2020 · 02/11/2022 19:18

Talking about ovulation. My period ended 3 days ago. Given I don't know what my cycle is, is there a rough guide as to what is likely after a period?

Tbark · 02/11/2022 19:24

@Krisnov2020 how many days does yoir period usually last and how many days is your cycle? Have you tried monitoring CM or your cervix positions ?

ChloeN · 02/11/2022 19:35

@ChipAndDip i was looking at procieve! Let me know how you get on with them! I bought wellman for my bf but he said they made him feel weird so he stopped taking them🙄

Krisnov2020 · 02/11/2022 19:49

@Tbark I've had the coil so barely had a period on it so I've no idea how long my cycle is! I will look up cervix monitoring now!

BCxx · 02/11/2022 19:52

Hi all 👋🏼 Third cycle here, TTC baby number 2! This time exactly 2 years ago I was in the exact same position on cycle 3 and it was my lucky month so fingers crossed the same happens again. Not sure I want them to have really close birthdays in August but I can’t stop trying purely due to that 🙈 AF has been arriving too early every cycle but I’m not long off the pill so I’m hoping the effects of it are wearing off now and I get a long enough time after ovulation this month 🤞🏼

BCxx · 02/11/2022 19:57

@Roxybabe we did SMEP with my son and it clearly worked! That and preseed. The SMEP was sooo tiring though and I think I was so determined that month that I wasn’t getting a no that we started too early and went on til at least 2dpo so it was was about 10 days in a row or something 😂😥 could see that far enough this time! Trying to aim for every second or third day just now and waiting for my ovulation tests to start rising a bit then do two in a row

Roxybabe · 02/11/2022 20:12

@BCxx that’s great that it worked for you! I worry we will tired too soo as I ovulate later then average, around CD16/17, maybe even later. Back in August we DTD too much then when I got positive OPK DH was too tired and fell asleep on me when I was ovulating. Maybe I’ll start it a little later then CD8, maybe CD12 might work better!

BCxx · 02/11/2022 20:14

@Roxybabe yeah I think as long as you’re testing enough you can chance it a bit and leave it later. I’ve been ovulating so late since coming off the pill (cd19 last month). It’s such a long wait in the lead up to it and hard to pace yourself since you feel like you’re sitting back doing nothing when you should be ‘trying’ 🙈 really the only days that actually matter though are the days immediately around ovulation

elarcoiris · 02/11/2022 20:15

Having lurked on various previous threads, decided I might as well join this time around. I’m CD11 but having had an early miscarriage/chemical pregnancy last cycle so really not sure what my body is going to do this time around and expecting it might be a longer cycle than my usual 26-28 days 🤷‍♀️

Laul89 · 02/11/2022 20:17

Hi everyone ☺️
Hope I’m ok to join. Quite new to this forum but have been reading lots of threads.

We are TTC #1, were on honeymoon last month so I was very chilled about it all. Obviously it didn’t work last month so this month have been paying more attention to my fertile window. Have been tracking my periods in the flo app for the past 12-18 months so hoping it’s quite accurate now! However my cycles tend to fluctuate a few days here and there.. mostly they are between 31-33 days so my app says I will ovulate on cd18, currently on cd16! Currently trying to DTD every other day.

Who knew it would take so much planning 🙈

Bookworm9319 · 02/11/2022 20:19

Hi all! Going to join in :) TTC#1 and this is cycle 5. Feeling more relaxed this cycle - but I always say that at the start haha. CD14 for me today but my cycles are very irregular and I don’t typically ovulate until day 17-28 and sometimes I won’t ovulate at all (referral to fertility clinic is in but I remain hopeful that we might conceive while we wait!). OPKs are stark negatives atm. Baby dust to all of you x
