Hey ladies,

Thought I would create a thread for those testing towards the end of Nov/early December.

I'm CD2, TTC first baby. On cycle 5.

fingers crossed for us all!

welcome ladies!!

@Laul89 I have used natural cycles for around 10 months now, and it predicted my ovulation date wrong until I started OPKing and BBTing, hopefully yours is correct but I really recommend OPKs just incase you ovulate earlier or later then average. My cycles are generally 28/29 days and my app always predicted ovulation on CD14. But I actually ovulate around CD16/17/18. Just to keep in mind incase the app is incorrect, you would be surprised how many women ovulate early or late!

Looking forward to hopefully seeing some positives here :) anyone else trying after coil removed?

LAgeDeRaisin · 02/11/2022 20:37

Hello everyone! Hope it's okay to join.
I think I'm CD1 tomorrow (many BFNs) but might be a bit off calculation as only 1month off the pill. Hoping to test end of November and have everything crossed that this will be a fertile month for us all!

Roxybabe · 02/11/2022 20:44

@Krisnov2020 @LAgeDeRaisin welcome!! Fingers crossed for us all!!

I had my coil removed in June!

Thanks @Roxybabe !
I was on progesterone only pill and not sure if my cycle will go straight back to my normal. Had what I think was a period on the 4th Oct. V much hoping for AF tomorrow so I know things are back to normal and can really try this month. I'm TTC #3

ChloeN · 02/11/2022 20:51

@elarcoiris I had a chemical in sept, my next cycle I ovulated day 17 which is later than normal for me! I think it effected my hormones because I bled way longer and heavier too so could be similar for you? My cycle ended up being 30 days instead of 28

elarcoiris · 02/11/2022 20:55

Yeah, this is sort of what I’m thinking. I had a miscarriage before my successful pregnancy with my son but didn’t track the cycle where I conceived and can’t really remember what happened. Keeping fingers crossed that it doesn’t push things out too much and that this might be our month!

ChipAndDip · 02/11/2022 22:05

Nice to see a few other late ovulaters here - it’s such a frustrating wait isn’t it! I’ve started using the clear blue digital ovulation tests so it gives me some more notice and I don’t end up getting worn out too early 😂

@ChloeN I’ll let you know how we get on with proceive! Only annoying thing is it’s 2 tablets a day instead of 1 but I guess that’s a bit of a first world problem!

BCxx · 02/11/2022 22:39

I’m a late ovulater too 🙋🏼‍♀️ But have noticed I’ve had the heaviest periods I’ve probably ever had the last 3 months since stopping the pill. I’m only getting 8 days or something after ovulation too so I think it could all be linked to progesterone levels. Taking every possible supplement now so hoping it sorts itself out this month

Tbark · 02/11/2022 23:23

@ChipAndDip the proceive I use is a powder once a day if you would find that more convenient xx

TickingTui · 03/11/2022 01:45

Hi everyone! I'm also a newbie happy for the comradery as TTC #2! I'm also a later ovulator this month - CD19/20. This is cycle 4 for me.

I'm a bit irregular, as AF shows up any time between 28 and 33 days! So I'm relying on LH tests and the PreMom app to keep track. (Highly recommend btw!)

So far, so good... But am stretching out trying a few days either side of the predicted fertile window, just to be sure to be sure! (Thank the Lord for both DH and I being able to work from home 🙈!)

ChipAndDip · 02/11/2022 18:12

Checking in here too! 👏

I think I’m cycle day 2, but I had lots of brown spotting for 8 days before so I’m a little confused!

Cycle 6, TTC #1. Had a MMC on cycle 2 and nothing since. I’m 35 so the plan is to try properly this month, chill out a bit in December and then if nothing’s happened by Jan I’ll make a doctors appt in the new year to get some fertility checks.

Looking forward to keeping up to date with you all! x

Think we’re going to be taking the same approach - currently on cycle 11 of tcc#1. Have started husband on supplements and I’m taking EPO this month. If nothing happens will take a break from tracking December and if still no joy by January will start fertility checks as will have been tcc for a year by then.

fingers crossed for all of us!

Elephantrose18 · 03/11/2022 11:34

Hello! Hope it’s ok to join!

im trying to conceive baby no:2! I have a little girl who’s 4, (5 in may) so been a while since this last happened. I was 22 then, now I’m 26. me and my partner have decided to try now so they don’t have a bigger gap between them.

been trying relaxed mode for 2 cycles so far since September, I’m now on cycle 3 as came on my period a few days ago :( hoping to get my bfp end of November/beginning December!

What supplements is your husband taking? Mine is just taking zinc at the moment.

Saturnsmoon · 03/11/2022 12:58

So he’s actually not taking zinc (will read up on that) he’s just taking vitamin c & d at the moment. I read an interesting post on here a while ago about supplements for men who are tcc - will try and find it.

Saturnsmoon · 03/11/2022 13:02

Found the thread: www.mumsnet.com/talk/conception/4462432-How-we-increased-DHs-morphology-and-sperm-count-with-supplements

my husband hasn’t actually had sperm analysis yet but figured it couldn’t harm to get him taking some vitamins etc.

@TI2411 that looks like a strong positive to me!! Congratulations 🥳 hoping for mine end of the month/start of dec!

Elephantrose18 · 03/11/2022 16:08

@TI2411 how long were your trying for? 🥳

Laul89 · 03/11/2022 18:05

Thanks for the info @Roxybabe ☺️
As we only started trying last month I said I was going to avoid tracking my fertile window for the first few months.. that didn’t happen 🤣 I also said I wasn’t going to use OPK.. but I bought some a few days ago! I didn’t want to stress over it straight away but the excitement and anticipation kind of runs away with you doesn’t it! Plus I’m almost 33 so don’t feel I have much time to waste!

I did a test yesterday and the day before which were both negative. According to the app I should ovulate tomorrow so will test again tonight and tomorrow. If it’s not lining up and no luck from this cycle I’ll have to go more in depth with trying to find out when I ovulate 🥴

Roxybabe · 03/11/2022 18:23

@Laul89 don’t stress! I was exactly the same, then ended up doing everything I said I wouldn’t do! Its totally ok to just go by your app but just be aware they arent always accurate! But as long as you are having sex regularly you should be fine!
