TWW starting 27.10.22 - who's with me?

MrsAlexander · 27/10/2022 22:19

I say it starts today... today is ovulation day and will be the last baby dancing with my other half so I'm pretty much counting from now.

I had an early MC on the 11th October (I have had MC and MMC before - no living children) and have tracked my ovulation with the CB tests. After a rough few weeks I literally could have cried seeing ovulation was bang on the day it was the previous cycle where I got pregnant.

Anyway, who's with me and starting their TWW around now? I'd love some support to be honest although I'm obviously a little battered and bruised (literally from four HCG tests a few weeks ago) not pinning every hope but equally enjoying my optimism right now until we know one way or another ♥️ x

@MrsAlexander I'm 7dpo too, it's a hard place to be as it's late enough that the possibility of implantation is there but too early to test. Glad it's weekend soon, I'm much better at switching off at the weekend. It sounds promising that you have some symptoms coming through. I haven't noticed anything this cycle, yet I'm definitely looking for symptoms, starting to feel like this won't be my cycle..

niknaks37 · 04/11/2022 14:39

Hey I'm jumping on this threat as in need of some support, can also see others who are around 37 years of age too. Ovulated on the 27th but couldnt DTD as I had severe tummy pains, DTD 3 and 5 days before then one day after ovulation. Currently on cycle 5 and I'm starting to feel like this isnt my month, their is also a new baby joined the family and he is adorable but also feel a bit down as I'm not on the baby train yet myself. Generally feeling a low point, I do understand it is only the beginning for us ttc but a bit naive to think it wouldnt be this hard. Doesnt help when DH argues over christmas arrangements as well. Feeling very tearful and unmotivated. 😥

MrsAlexander · 04/11/2022 15:04

Previously when I've been pregnant I've never really noticed symptoms before a missed period @vitahelp to be honest but now is a time I'm really doing everything I can do to get the timing right so I feel like my head is focussed on it even more.

@niknaks37 - I want to give you a big virtual hug 💕 Here I am, 37, no living children but four pregnancies under my belt - one was my last cycle. I know that feeling well. Next door is 27 and having her first and I'm avoiding her as much as I possibly can as it hurts my heart but she works from home and so do I so it's hard. The thing we have to tell ourselves is... whatever anyone else is doing does not effect whether we will have our babies or not - stay focussed. It's the uncertainty - I say it all of the time. Let me tell you though, suddenly you could see a positive test and you'll be in so much shock and shock that "just like that" it happened! It very well can! Here to talk any time x

@HelloItSoph I know the feeling. A bit of gentle exercise always helps me with my anxiety so that’s my plan but I’ve got a long weekend this weekend so I hope I won’t be doing too much googling! Next Thursday feels like a long way away, but at least I’ve got things to keep me busy.
I’ve started with some mild PMS type symptoms (including a giant spot on my nose 🙄) over the last 24hrs so I’d be surprised if it’s my month this month, but not counting any chickens (or should that be lack of chickens?) until Aunty Flo comes to visit.

@Moonshine89 congratulations! It is on the earlier side to get positives at 8 DPO but you can’t deny those! Perhaps you ovulated a little early this month or maybe have two on board? Either way, it’s exciting for you and earlier rather than later implantation is a positive sign that you’ve got a little one that will stay put.

Thank you @alittleknowledge and @vivitahelp!

Ohh early implantation could be a reason. I always though it was day 5, didn't think there was such a range. I don't think I ovulated any earlier. Going by my opks I got my peak on the 24th so I went with the 25th as O day but it could've been the 24th at some point either but I was testing the few days before that so I really don't think it was any earlier.

I know 2 on board was the 1st thing that came to mind which wouldn't be ideal as my first is only 7months 🙈 2 under 2 will be fine but 3 under 2 could be crazy lol.

NatalieSF · 04/11/2022 17:32

Came up within a minute 🥰 going to test again in the morning but its got colour to it 🤞

@NatalieSF Congratulations. you’ve been with us on this threat for a few days, I hope your positive you brings us more luck! Did you say it was going to be baby number 4?

NatalieSF · 04/11/2022 17:47

@Alittleknowledge yes 4th and final baby and a little terrified 🤣 hope the bfps keep coming on the thread 🤞

kt1302 · 04/11/2022 19:28

Congratulations @NatalieSF defiantly a line!

Hopefully we see lots of bfps in the next week 🤞🤞
Final stretch guys ♥️

niknaks37 · 05/11/2022 11:10

@MrsAlexander thank you for your kind words, your reply was very comforting. It can sometimes feel like a lonely road ttc, except for my Dh but really don't want to off load my inner feelings as to me it doesnt seem fair on him. It must be really hard living next door with a mum to be, I feel for you.
I would love to have a baby in my 38th year but time is not on my side, I dont even care if it is a boy or girl. I had a such a fear of pregnancy and birth before all ttc, now all that doesnt matter and broosiness has out weighed everything. I can't imagine how you feel after 4 pregnancies.
Here is hoping we will have our babies in the not too distant future.

vitahelp · 05/11/2022 11:45

@niknaks37 I totally understand where you’re at. I’m 36 now and afraid I’m too old and it isn’t going to happen. I do have a daughter age 4 so realise I’m lucky but I’ve been trying 6 months for this one and it’s wearing me down. You’re not alone and it’s normal to feel down when there are babies and pregnancies around you, I’m the same. Hoping it won’t be long for us all xx

@NatalieSF Eeek congratulations!! That’s definitely your BFP. How are you feeling? Have you told anyone yet??

vitahelp · 05/11/2022 11:48

I’m 8dpo today, I’m not feeling great to be honest got a headache and slightly sickly/indigestion feeling. But my temps are looking grim, I reached a high temp at 4/5dpo and usually I stay there until 9/10 dpo, but this month my temps have starting dropping at 6dpo!! Doesn’t look good at all so don’t have a lot of hope this is my month. Attached my chart below in case anyone wants a look or to compare xx

MrsAlexander · 05/11/2022 21:00

It is hard at times @niknaks37 but I do believe what's due for us won't go past us, we just have to keep positive.

@vitahelp I've never done the whole temperature thing so I have no idea but it's nearly out time to test!

Whenever everyone testing? I'm 9DPO tomorrow and last month that's the first day I got a faint positive. I was always planning to test tomorrow but I'm actually really quite scared as the MC is still so fresh and raw ☹️

Caved and tested. 9DPO. BFN on the cheapy strips. I don't think this month is mine as it seems many get something on 9DPO and I did last month... I knew I'd have been lucky to catch so soon but we shall see.

How's everyone else doing? x

Don't give up hope yet! While I got a line early this time, I didn't get a sniff of a line until 12dpo on my 1st! And I was testing everyday mix of cheapies and FRERs, all stark BFNs.

Fingers crossed for you.

NatalieSF · 06/11/2022 09:44

@vitvitahelp just my husband and 3 close friends as we needed to come up with a way to tell my husband 🤣

Sending baby dust to all!

pixiecircle · 06/11/2022 10:44

Hope it’s ok to hop on the thread late! I’m a day behind at 8DPO today, this will now be 2 years trying.

sorry for your BFN @MrsAlexander I know it’s hard when we are so used to seeing lots of early BFPs but this site is good to compare with — basically at 9DPO half of preg would show a negative, so you’re def still early! Got my fingers crossed that your reading comes true 🤞

congrats @Moonshine89 and @NatalieSF !!! Would love to see how your chart progressed @NatalieSF! Did you temp @Moonshine89 ? I’m such a geek for temp charts lol

bee98 · 06/11/2022 10:54

Hi all, I believe I am 10dpo today, woke up not feeling great and decided to test, came back positive within the time frame! I then did two more tests with the same urine and both were negative. Using wondfo tests. I then did a FRER after about a 4HH and BFN! Feel confused and sad, has anybody else had this? I’ll add a pic of two of my wondfos, it’s a bit darker in person as took pic using flash.

TWW starting 27.10.22 - who's with me?
pixiecircle · 06/11/2022 11:05

@bee98 I did have something similar a couple months back — faint positive on easy@home, but nothing on FRER. Turned out to be a false positive in the end. I lost a lot of trust in those cheapies after that!!!

It could be that your FRER was too dilute but it unfortunately seems likely to be a false positive if you tested negative multiple times with the same sample as your positive…

Try hold off testing again until tomorrow or as long as you can — 10DPO is still early, especially if you’re not 100% on your dates 💕

vitahelp · 06/11/2022 11:20

@MrsAlexander Im sorry about your bfn..it is still early though so I wouldn’t count yourself out yet. Are you still noticing any symptoms today?

Im 9dpo today but don’t think I’ll test, I usually do but managed to not test at all last month and now can’t imagine doing it! Doesn’t help the last test I took was an internet cheapy a couple of cycles ago and it gave a false positive 😞 think it’s put me off testing now! My BBT went up this morning but at this stage I’m really not trusting my temps at all, they have been a bit all over the place this cycle. Got zero symptoms today.

@pixiecircle are you charting bbt at the moment? How is yours looking? I’ve been charting 5 months and this one has been very odd and not really in a good way. Still gets my hopes up trough as it is different to others making me think the ‘difference’ might be that I’m pregnant, but probably not!

@bee98 Im sorry to hear you’ve had conflicting results. I had a very bad experience two cycles ago with first step tests bought off eBay. It was the first time I used them and I got 2 positive results but suspected something was wrong. In the end I tested using tap water and got a pink line. Was furious. I hope the same isn’t happening for you. Let us know. Will you be testing again in the morning? Do you have any more FRER?

vitahelp · 06/11/2022 11:23

@pixiecircle Sorry you’ve had a bad experience with cheap internet strips in the past too. I went mad at the seller and said they should stop selling them and cut ties with the supplier but they weren’t having it! There were loads of negative reviews on their eBay page about the tests.

Alittleknowledge · 06/11/2022 13:26

@MrsAlexander you’re not out until Aunty Flo arrives. I use this graph by fertility friend to guide my testing, I hope it reassures you a bit.

www.fertilityfriend.com/Faqs/Early-Negative-Pregnancy-Test-Before-a-Positive---Stats-Study.html

I previously haven’t had a positive until 15DPO (I’d tested at 12 and had a neg) which does fit.

I’ve had some minor symptoms but holding off poas for the time being.

SillyOldBear3 · 06/11/2022 16:06

@MrsAlexander 9dpo is still early for a positive so you're definitely not out yet! I'm either 8 or 9dpo today, very tempted to test tonight but also know it's probably still too early. Do you have any symptoms? I have zero, the only strange thing is that I don't have sore boobs yet, which I usually get before my period.
