TWW starting 27.10.22 - who's with me?

MrsAlexander · 27/10/2022 22:19

I say it starts today... today is ovulation day and will be the last baby dancing with my other half so I'm pretty much counting from now.

I had an early MC on the 11th October (I have had MC and MMC before - no living children) and have tracked my ovulation with the CB tests. After a rough few weeks I literally could have cried seeing ovulation was bang on the day it was the previous cycle where I got pregnant.

Anyway, who's with me and starting their TWW around now? I'd love some support to be honest although I'm obviously a little battered and bruised (literally from four HCG tests a few weeks ago) not pinning every hope but equally enjoying my optimism right now until we know one way or another ♥️ x

It totally is @Alittleknowledge and I've spent the last two years not being able to sleep, anxiety through the roof over it. This will be our 5th cycle (this time around) and as I say, I had an early MC on our 4th so I celebrated that I got to see a BFP in such a short time. At this point in my life I try to count every single positive that I have so the fact I ovulated right on time was another.

Positive vibes for us all this month 💕

Hey 👋 jumping on :)

Currently 4dpo on cycle 5. First month tracking BBT and its been quite a journey 🤣 Impatiently getting through the TWW. When is everyone planning to test?

kt1302 · 30/10/2022 21:58

I'm on 2dpo
I am hoping to let this cycle go past when my period is due but I know that won't happen!!
I have been so obsessed in the past and I just hate to test early to get that disappointment but still think I have hope
When is everyone else testing? Xx

MrsAlexander · 30/10/2022 22:27

Welcome @NatalieSF and @kt1302 if we could all fast forward these next few days - that would be great eh?!

Ovulated on the 27th - so I think i'm 2DPO now. I plan to test on Sunday at 9DPO 😬

So sorry to hear about you miscarriage OP ☹️ 1dpo here..and month 3 of 'not preventing' but definitely dtd 1 and 2 days before ovulation so keeping everything crossed! Need to try not to symptom spot, as last month I had myself convinced I was pregnant!

This will be our first.. I think I've had one chemical in the past though (when we weren't trying but using pull-out) as I had a very faint line followed by a late and heavy period..

Wishing everyone lots of luck this month!

MrsAlexander · 30/10/2022 22:36

Thanks @SillyOldBear3 - welcome!

There's quite a few of us camping out in here with similar dates. It's sooo hard not to symptom spot. I've been trying for years on and off and I have notes on my app for all of it. This means I get so tempted to start comparing to previous months trying to look for answers 😬

Last month I just knew, literally right away. People say you can't "just know" but I did. He knew as well. It was a shock to see the faint positive but then not because I knew?! I have been pregnant before though with no symptoms until a test at five weeks though so it's hard to not just convince yourself of things!

SillyOldBear3 · 30/10/2022 22:59

@MrsAlexander It's so difficult not to symptom spot when you want something so badly isn't it. Although I haven't been trying long, I've been tracking my cycles for 2 years, so I kind of know what is normal for me and what isn't!

So sorry that your last pregnancy ended in MC, but it's good news that you ovulated again so soon. I'll keep everything crossed for you! Also, about the psychic reading, I hope it's a positive sign for you! I've never had a reading but a member of my family has premonitions which have come true, so I'm really open to these things.. the world works in mysterious ways!

MrsAlexander · 30/10/2022 23:04

That's good that you've tracked your cycles so much beforehand @SillyOldBear3 it's good to have records and see patterns I think.

The reading thing was just something I did in a moment of desperation. She is in Tik Tok of all places and her reviews seemed good so I went for it. The numbers she predicted relating to the last pregnancy shocked me though! I do wonder if this will be positive or not for october again but equally her reading covers a two year period so could be next October....! It gave me hope though and that's all I needed x

I’m going to try and make it until the 10th, which will by 12DPO for me. I try and leave testing as long as I can because I get worried about finding a chemical which would break me, but often do end up breaking and testing a little earlier!

Woken up full of cold today so feeling a bit sorry for myself - I try and avoid caffeine and tablets as much as possible in the TWW but I’ll not get through work without a coffee today 😂

Do you have her details at all? The lady who does the readings.
I am quite a believer in fate. A few things have happened in my life that led me
to feel that some things are just meant to be!

I am around 4/5dpo today.
On progesterone pessaries so it gives me lots of false symptoms 🙄😩

MrsAlexander · 31/10/2022 07:09

Well today I did my last test as advised by the early pregnancy unit to make sure my MC was complete. I already knew it was highly likely of course because I had ovulated but it's good to see a negative as I know I'm definitely starting a new pregnancy (whenever I get my BFP)

I tell myself I'm waiting until 12DPO but I know I won't @Alittleknowledge ...!

@Jendy87 this is the ladies website www.emeraldsun-tarot.com and I paid for the £30 reading. Let us know if you do it! x

sorry and happy to hear that your test was negative
im sure it’s such mixed emotions seeing it.

manifesting good things for this cycle 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Morning ladies! I'm 3 dpo today. It's my 6th cycle TTC, I already have a DD age 4. I hope we can all stay calm this next 2 weeks and support each other xxx

MrsAlexander · 31/10/2022 12:28

It's probably the first time ever that I was happy to see a negative but it means my previous miscarriage is complete so it's all moving forward.

You know what's exciting? I'm excited to see who in here ends up pregnant from this cycle 🥳

Of course I want to be one of them but I am staying calm that if it's not this cycle that's ok too. I feel like it's the healthiest mindset for me to be right now x

Hi everyone, I'd like to join too. Smile I'm 5DPO and off for a fertility MOT on Friday. I've got endometriosis and a blocked Fallopian tube diagnosed when they removed the endo and pumped dye through the tubes (as well as Crohn's disease) so I'm hoping for some advice/reassurance from the professionals. Hoping to see lots of BFPs on this thread. Smile

MrsAlexander · 31/10/2022 13:21

Welcome @MsSandyToes ! Fingers crossed for your fertility MOT.Please keep us updated how you get on!

Hello everyone
It's my first post here.
I and my husband have been TTC for three years though of course with coronavirus, assisted conception has been out of the question.
I'm expecting a period about now, but nothing happening so far. Then again I'm now in my early 40s so maybe that's to be expected at my age.
I'll have to look into what the two week wait is all about but happy to be here wondering what's going on in my body!

MrsAlexander · 31/10/2022 17:00

Welcome @whatnots2015

The TWW is the time between ovulation and your period, waiting to see if it worked. Typically you fight all urges to symptom spot but still find yourself googling the most random things 😬

Good luck and keep us posted x

whatnots2015 · 31/10/2022 17:20

Ah, I see, thank you.
I have various minor health issues so have all kinds of weird feelings in my abdomen, bloating, constipation, headaches, tiredness etc anyway!
It all feels very strange.

MrsAlexander · 31/10/2022 20:02

I've got a slight headache tonight @whatnots2015 but I think it's because someone's house alarm was going off for an hour this afternoon 😵‍💫

It's hard to not try and link the symptoms but I know deep down that previously when I've been pregnant I've not noticed anything (they were all losses) so we shall see x

OP posts:
Alittleknowledge · 31/10/2022 20:30

@MrsAlexander when I was pregnant the most noticeable symptom until about 7 weeks was “I have no symptoms”

I promised myself I would try and remember this when I started trying again but I’ve been symptom spotting for most of this year even though I know the chances are low. I do love to torture myself 🙄😫😂

MrsAlexander · 31/10/2022 21:02

Awww it really messes with your head @Alittleknowledge !

I think when you've had losses as well you often just want to be back to where you were... it's heartbreaking.

I am trying to remain positive and live my life without making it the soul focus but it's very hard x

😞

MrsAlexander · 31/10/2022 21:50

I try not to think too much like that to be honest @kt1302 as it hurts 😔

Before my MC earlier this month I thought "I will finally be able to enjoy Christmas knowing I got the best present of my life coming for the next one" 🥺
