Hi ladies. I have started to feel a little overwhelmed with our usual thread and we are at different stages of our journeys now. Well I had a night from hell last night and it doesn't help I feel super rotten myself atm 🤦🏼‍♀️ ds seems a lot better today thank god and he's going back to the childminders tomorrow 🙊

Things have taken a step back here, thought it was all going too well and was planning on going back to work tomorrow. They obviously missed some products so had the worst cramps last night and follow up of those today. In a way though glad my body is assisting it along. Fingers crossed that's it and I can now start to get back to normal🤞🏼 xx

@MrsCristianoX Could you save it for closer to your peak. I'd say I struggle (and to be fair so does DH) to do it more than 4 times over our fertile week. It's hard to keep enthusiastic month after month 😬 xx

@MrsCristianoX ahh good luck! Are you using OPKs? I had some EWCM today (cd9 which is early 😒 plus we are all sick so that's bloody terrible timing!) like you, I'm so not up for it this cycle.

Which days pre ovulation (or day of, or day after!) people DTD before their BFP would be especially interesting.

@bunnykins123 OPK is on the rise. Still not that high. A little EWCM today. If I DTD now I'll need a repeat on Friday. I don't really know if I should put him off..well let's face it my current attire should do the trick 😂 just not feeling it at all

@MrsCristianoX he had a temp of 38.2 and he was coughing so much he was sick all over his cot I brought him into bed with me and I just couldn't drop off I kept panicking he would choke on his sick or fall out the bed 🤦🏼‍♀️ and then he would wake up and cry and cough a bit more 😩 lol why 😂 honestly they make us despair sometimes 🙄

@bunnykins123 our son was going to be Roberta if he was a girl and then we were toying with names with the second pregnancy and quite liked Delilah for a girl. I liked cooper for a boy by DH wasn't all that keen he's kept giving me random footballer names 🙄 I can't remember with DS but I was doing opk so it would have been every other day with a couple of days one after the other around O, second was once 5 days before O and third we dtd O-5, -3-2-1

1st and 2nd one I think we did it once the day before ovulation but I wasn't OPKing it was just based on Glow, I didn't track symptoms really.
3rd I think was the day of ovulation, I'd had my peak overseas the day before, came home and we did it 11am and 6pm the same day 🤣.
The last one we did it -7(why this early I don't know!), -5, -2 and again morning of ovulation.
We had done that loads before though so it's just luck of the egg taking I guess x

@monsteramunch Oh believe me I have my moments of complete weakness 🤣, but thank you. I do worry that I get more numb the more I go through this, I'm just hoping that's normal!

@mummatara oh I LOVE the name Delilah and Cooper, our friends have picked the best names for their boys, Cooper and Spencer. They're so cute too! I have a list of names on my phone, they change with each pregnancy 😂 xx (mammoth effort on the 3rd one BTW lol) xx

@MrsCristianoX you've got time to put him off if you're not feeling it, minimum I'd say is 5 days before expected ovulation. I guess the one before that is the warm up for his purposes in getting fresh swimmers x

@mummatara poor wee man (and also poor you) 😢 there is so much going around at the minute. I had a consult on Monday with someone with Noravirus who was actually dry heaving and sweating at the counter. I took a giant step back 🙈 I actually hate being sick more than I hate covid. Really professional like🙄

The month I actually got pregnant I DTD 5 days before I ovulated. I had actually written that month off because the pressure was getting to DH. The positive was a massive shock

@MrsCristianoX I agree, if it's not dark yet then you can probably afford to wait a day or so. I'm absolutely not dtd tonight even though I had a bit of EWCM. I haven't tested today either so I'll see what's happening tomorrow onwards. Your attire sounds divine - im past whipping out the lacy numbers now!

@FfayeN thanks for sharing that. Like you say, I think I've nailed those dates in the past so must be egg quality 🤦‍♀️ I think it'll be only a few attempts this month, I'm so past it now!

@mummatara crazy that you got a bfp at -5! But also really reassuring. With my 1st 2 early miscarriages, they were both 1 attempt on -2 🤷‍♀️ they are lovely names! We have a few delilias at our nursery.

@FfayeN DH just assumed we would use Roberta for a girl and I was like we can't that's DS girls name he thought I was bonkers 😂 tbh I might still use Delilah I do really love it and not sure I'm ready to not have it on my list we didn't even discuss names for the third. I really really struggled with a boy name for our DS and in the end he has the same name as daddy with a different nickname so I'm not shouting at the wrong one 😂 oh hun I bet that is hard ❤️ do you think you would use any from your lists for future ones?

I have a niece called Delilah! She’s the sweetest thing and such a lovely name 🥰
This cycle we DTD O-5, -3 and -1. Going again on O day was completely out of the question 😂 We’re not spring chickens and it always feels like we run out of steam just as it’s getting to the critical time nearer ovulation.
Here’s this evening’s cheapy - very similar to yesterday. Just glad it’s still there at the moment.
