I have had trigger shot yesterday for first time

So it's day 2 most of today I'm getting a weird feeling in my left ovary hard to explain like it's going to pop , could this mean I have ovulated today ,iv already had intercourse today so going to wait untill tomorrow untill hubby builds up again just to try for the best chance I have only one mature 20mm folicle does any one have any experience, I'd really love to hear your stories xxxxxx

These my ov tests the clearblue digital had an empty circle but these look positive to me is it possible that they missed follicles on my scan? Why would these tests look like this if I o you have one follicle at 10mm or would you say these are negative atm close the being positive but not quite there yet? x

Melpainter that's good news sometimes follicles can hide depending on wot way you are being checked at your next appointment ask to check again , whish you all the best this round ❤️ lots of baby dust ,and eh 10mm good size to start with xxxxxxx

Sorry just seen your other post they look positive to me some test just detect different levels are you having trigger and yes I do believe follicles can hide or not been seen due to me having to nurses they both tell me different things when I'm doing fertility treatment scans some nurses in the field a longer time with experience I find no wer to look and take there time if you no wot I mean wish u all the luck this cycle xxxxx xxxxxxx

my appointment has been postponed again as the doctor is off sick so now got to wait until Thursday!! Will be CD19 by then, I’m convinced he will say take provera and start a new cycle. Not sure how many more of these cycles I can do when they keep having delays and disruptions or if moving to ivf might take some of that away xxx

This is the clinics ovulation test today and they told me it’s positive!! She said just have sex I said I’m sorry to keep asking questions but
1 - my follicle was only 10mm less than 24 hours ago
2 - shouldn’t I need to trigger?
3 - I have PCOS will this not show inaccurate results on ov tests
4 - shouldn’t you just scan me to know exactly what is going on so we make the correct decisions and not waste this cycle
she just said your chart is all over the place I’ll call you back! x

@Melpainter thats exciting!! Yeah they should scan you and be able to see, maybe they missed follicle? I was never going to be offered a trigger on letrozole as was told if it works then you ovulate naturally on it from responding to it, that only happened to me once the other 3 times I didn’t respond to it at all. Hope you hear back from them soon!!xxx

@Alexis7890 there is a chap called Dr Anul Gudi and he is a fertility dr that does lots of tutorials and reports on fertility on YouTube, it was his tutorial about mixing clomid and letrazole that I followed but he also said one about there being no medical need to do induce a bleed if you have no response to treatment and that includes delayed treatment so they should be able to start your cycle without making u take meds to bleed he also said that this could effect hormone levels and your more likely to respond to treatment later in cycle than start levels from scratch. So if you want to then I’d challenge the drs on this and quote this fertility specialist.. and could be why you responded to letrazole first time but not there after
the nurse called me back this afternoon and said it’s not a genuine result it’s the pcos giving those results she said I could have a blood test tomorrow and a scan! Hopefully they see I’ve already ovulated from the left side that would be a miracle x

Well this will make you laugh… my clinic sent me an email at 5pm saying that the images I sent were of a covid test…! I mean come on! Really! I replied saying I sincerely hope they are not covid tests as they came from your clinic with a urine pipette! It really worries me that these organisations are in charge of our fertility and they don’t know the difference between their own ovulation tests and a covid test…..x

Oh my god you are joking😂😂 wot the actual hell are we doing ? With these clinics ? Awh here IV herd it all now lol sure when I was getting all them positive tests last week and ran out my clinic rang me and told me that it wasn't a chemical because u only get a faint test the day before period, haha u actually made me laugh 😂 xxxxxxxx

Still no period no signs or symptoms?! I'm confused

When do you go back to your clinic? Or are they waiting for you to bleed? Maybe call them tomorrow
I had my scan and bloods today she said the follicle is 13mm and another nurse said it’s 14mm either way I am happy with that I hope it keeps growing and doesn’t disappear got another scan Friday and will get blood results tomorrow, they did the bloods because my ovulation tests are positive x

Looking promising ladies hopefully ovulate this weekend and start the dreaded 2ww just goes to show anything is possible xxx fingers crossed xxx

Oh so you have 2 good sized follicles I think when they get to a certain size they just keep growing to that's is amazing ❤️ anything is possible and i wish you all the luck in the world ❤️ yes just waiting untill I bleed and then I'm Gona have an other month off I think, and back to injections maybe march time xxxxx

so I finally saw my consultant today, he did a scan and there are too many follicles there for them to start the injections now so have to wait 3 weeks, start a new cycle then start the injections on day 2. It is frustrating but I sort of expected it and also my husband is really unwell so definitely wouldn’t be in the mood to DTD!!xxx

I feel your frustration! Did they say any of those could ovulate? I love how they are so flimsy with our time! But at least time never stands still so could be going through the motions again together if this cycle doesn’t work! My fella is really poorly too atm I’m worried that makes the sperm count worse 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ Scan tomorrow and they will say if I can trigger hopefully I can 🤞🤞🤞 xx

He said they could, there was one on each ovary around 14mm so they might but might not he couldn’t say either way really and so I have to wait 2-3 weeks and if no period do a pregnancy test and if it’s negative then take a course of provera to start a new cycle the start injections on day 2. At least the next lot of injections they’ve said can start at 75 not 50 like last time. I had the same worries about my husbands sperm as well!! Hope tomorrow goes well xxx

Shame they can’t just give you gonassi anyway at least give you a chance this cycle

scan said left has 16mm and right has 15mm going to have bloods again and I suppose they will call this afternoon and say if I can trigger or not will keep you posted. The left side is achy and has been a few days hopefully I will ovulate from left cause so far ovulating from the right hasn’t got me pregnant yet and my daughter came from the left ovary. My hormones are nuts atm I’m so prickly and defensive had crap day at work yesterday colleague really pissed me off and usually I’d keep my mY mouth shut but I lost it 🤦‍♀️ X

@Melpainter would they trigger at the size? My doctors don’t let me unless it’s at least 18mm. Aww no I’m sure you didn’t lose it as bad as you think you did! Hormones and emotions are such a hard thing to manage! Are you in work today? Hope you can have a restful easy time today and over the weekend xxx

Thank you @Alexis7890 isnt it crazy how hormones mess you up like that I had a much better day yesterday and a few bevy’s with the man to limber him up lol! So the clinic called and said to trigger on Sunday afternoon, and that it doesn’t matter if I ovulate before then cause the trigger won’t do any harm, I feel so achy and tight on the left hand side I think it maybe happening today but ov there is no way of knowing because I felt achy yesterday and thought I was ovulating then but what I am feeling must be the growth of the follicles in the ovaries it’s so fascinating 🧐 I hope you are both doing well I really appreciate being able to talk to you both it’s made this process easier!
