Hoping for a BFP October/November

Hi all just creating a new thread since the other one is almost full!!! Really really hoping this is our month, but not hopeful, DH is away with work for most of my FW and only comes home the day before I think I will ov. I've also injured my back!!!

Don't know if anyone knows anything about progesterone levels.... had my day 21 ones done and the level was 22 point something. I thought this seemed a bit low? But my opks showed I ovulate later than normal, so rather than day 14, looks like I ovd on day 16?
Would this mean that I should have got my progesterone done on day 23? Sorry this is very confusing!!!

I've made an appt to speak to my gp about it on the 8th Dec.

I plan to hold out testing till day 29 which is sat!!! (Of course this is the night I am going out for my 40th) I knkw it will be negative anyway!!!

@Purple29 no idea about the levels sorry but you would think ovulation timing is bound to affect it! Haha I was like that last time when I had a night out, AF ended up arriving before it anyway 😑 But I really don’t know what I was planning to do if it was positive and I couldn’t drink! 😂

I was told ideally it's over 30 on the day 21 test, however it sounds like your days are out so it makes sense that yours is low.
The 'day 21' is based on a 28 day cycle.. so 7 days after ovulation.

I was similar to you on my first test - I think it was 22.. but then I had a repeat test another cycle and it was in the 40s, which was on a more accurate cycle day.
I presume it can fluctuate from cycle to cycle a little too.

Yes @Purple29 the day to test needs adjusted based on when you ovulate.

That’s defo positive my test didn’t show till I was six days late never happened to me before. The one your using is a one step test their very good showed the positive before FRER for me good luck .

Hey everyone! I'm still on this thread even though November AF has been and gone, but everyone's so lovely I don't want to go elsewhere 🤣

Congrats to all who have had BFP so far! Fingers crossed for everyone else and those who are onto the next cycle!

I'm on CD 8, had a super long cycle before AF think was 42 days, so I'm still regulating after coming off the pill, I use my health app to track my cycle but until it settles I let it estimate on a 31 day cycle and then I just plot where things happen to make it accurate! So today I started having menstrual type cramps, my app says fertile window starts in 3 days, but wondered if ovulation pain lasts for days or just on the day it happens? I've never really had it before that I have noticed and certainly not like this if I have, its not extreme cramps but enough I pointed it out to DH and took an ovulation test which was negative!

Just wondered what people's ovulation pain has been like? I will keep testing ovulation now over the next few days to try and pin point a peak but I'm sure I read ages ago that ovulation pain only happens when actually ovulating not before but I may be wrong!

Just to add the ovulation strips I use state that any line that isn't the same or bolder than control is negative and usually I get a faint line around ovulation time, to a peak and then a drop off but today when I tested it was a clear negative no second line at all!

It's cd 11 for me and for the first time since TTC #3 I got a flashing smiley! Usually I go straight from low to peak and the only thing I did different this month is not paying that much attention to things and even forget to do seed cycling every day but 1! I usually O on day 14 so keeping an eager eye for the next couple of days and I'm not going to use my progesterone oil this cycle and see what the Proov tests say regarding pdg. Hope you're all doing well, crossed fingers for everyone and congratulations to all who got their BFP's! :-)

Hey ladies, I've started charting my BBT a while ago and while AF always comes every 30 or 31 days, I'm not sure I'm ovulating.
The apps I use set my ovulation date based on temperature but I don't really have CM all the time.

I also use cheap ovulation tests and the digital Clearblue ones starting from cycle day 9 and they match the predicted ovulation day showing high peaks.

This is my chart now, during the fertile window we've only tried 2 days before said ovulation day because I wasn't feeling really well and I have zero symptoms.
Was nauseous and with a bit of ovary cramping this morning but it might have been because of a late and spicy dinner.

Are thriphasic charts a thing? Is anything a thing? I'm lost, I want to avoid another testing disappointment so I'll ways until the 1st (when AF should come. Hopefully my net AF is next autumn)

I am between 6-11dpo, found my mood swings have been absolutely out of control, lower back ache, nausea on and off and some mild cramping mainly when lying down for bed and I've definitely been a lot more tired than normal...don't want to get my hopes up but can't help but wonder xx

So I'm CD29 today and roughly 12-13dpo and no sign of AF, but a BFN on a first response this morning!! So guess I'm out 😭

@Purple29 snap! I altered my ovation day on my pre mom to reflect the day I think I ovulated. I messed up with opk's and that threw the app data. So that puts me at 12dpo today with AF due yesterday. I've had no AF but tested negative this AM🙄
I'm sick of it all today

So AF turned up today 😢 was really hoping I was pregnant to tell my OH on his bday on Wednesday. He turns 40 and I'm 40 the next day. Oh well means I can have a drink on my bday xx

@kizzy97 thank you! AF arrived this morning so new cycle starts today for me.

BFN for me this month, waited out and got so hopefull as AF was late bought a test in the hope of testing Friday just gone but no AF arrived before the test came in the post lol onwards and upwards expected ov day is 10th dec so told the hubby he best be ready 🤣

Hi all, bit late in the month I guess to join but hopefully my post will be okay and if I can be added on. AF due either tomorrow or Tuesday.

Just a little on my background. I have one boy who is 2.5years old and ttc to baby no2. I think approximately this would be our 14th cycle. First child conceived after 15 cycles. I had slightly elevated prolactin the first time for which I took cabergoline for 3 months before conceiving.

As it had been close to a year since ttc 2, I have been put on cabergoline again (since July 2022) for 6 months. This time prolactin very very slightly elevated but the DR and Endo dept thought they would try this again. day 21 tests all fine as far as can tell.

I have consulted privately and although we haven't been trying for 2 years they mentioned they can do some initial tests such as the AMH/pelvic and hyscosy to check tubes. So if I am out this month...then I may go for these next month.

Hoping to join and just share my journey with you all and hear all about your journeys too. Xx

11DPO and BFN this morning. I think I’m out again. This is exhausting after 11 months TTC already. Doesn’t help that I have been flued up these past few days either. Just waiting for AF to show up now, due on Wednesday. Wishing everyone still in the game lots of luck ✨

Well she showed over night, so CD1 for me.
It's almost a year ago since I found out I was expecting last time. I'm dreading new years eve thats when I had the surgery for the ectopic last year. This whole month is just going to be so hard.

I have started taking my folic acid and vitamin d which I started taking 3 days ago as I was taking pregnacare before conception which I recommend to anyone congratulations to everyone else who has got their BFP and sorry to those who got AF
