Hi all just creating a new thread since the other one is almost full!!! Really really hoping this is our month, but not hopeful, DH is away with work for most of my FW and only comes home the day before I think I will ov. I've also injured my back!!!

@Saribon I’m taking maca root which I think has a similar effect and stopped it last month at ovulation then had planned to take agnus castus the second half of my cycle but chickened out because I’d heard mixed reviews on it 🙈 it seems to be one of those things people really just do their own thing with

managed to book my smear this morning for cd17 which should hopefully work out okay if I ovulate nearer cd14! If I’m that early on in the tww I wouldn’t even have the possibility of being pregnant so it should be fine. I was waiting on them reading out an appointment later on in December and having to tell the receptionist we were trying but luckily she got me in early 😂

Well I think I'm out...I thought I had some implantation bleeding yesterday but its continued today and more of it so guessing its just my period 😔

@Knov20 sorry AF has arrived 😞 I’m on day 4 and have dusted myself off ready to go again. Try to take it as a positive that you might be getting a Christmas bfp 🎉

Guys I'm due on today and done a test as af hadn't arrived. And I can see a line but not sure if it's evap or indent. What do you guys think??

@BCxx yeah I chickened out with agnus cactus a few months ago. I'm going to stop with the starflower until next cycle. I saw the improvement in EWCM after taking them a week so no need to continue through the month. They might last me a bit longer then as well. I can see these vitamins being an expensive necessity.

@2021lady sorry I can't see anything but I would've thought that if AF was due now then the line would be darker? Maybe test in a few days if AF hasn't arrived x

@Saribon 😂 yeah I didn’t know exactly what the risks of it were but it just didn’t sound all that great so stopped it 🙈 I think the maca root probably did the same, my ovulation went from cd20 to 16 but that could have been a coincidence. Really hoping it’s closer to 14 this time! You end up with a whole handful to swallow every day 😂 I did none of this last time, just took the prenatal ones and off I went

I know, I didn't even check when I was ovulating when I had my kids first time round. I knew it happened roughly two weeks after my period and that was it! I got pregnant with little effort, took one test and waited for my 12 week scan.

This time round I feel like a scientist and a herbalist 😜 and it's all so much more stressful

@Saribon 😂 laughing at this, totally! The internet makes you an expert on every subject in the world of TTC. I can’t imagine having to go through all of this just in my own head though and not be able to tell strangers online 😂

@BCxx me too! My partner doesn't like to talk about it or focus on it too much. He thinks we should just let things happen as and when they happen. I literally just pass him the coneption vitamins and aside from dtd he isn't very interested (Im only kidding). He just doesn't want it to take over. He is almost superstitious about it so if I didn't have this site I'd go mad.

Confirmed today at 15dpo, could not be happier!

@Saribon totally, I don’t like telling him too much either. I tell him when I get a negative or when AF arrives but to him it’s not the end of the world every month whereas I’m gutted 🙄 I try not to mention it much other than that since I feel like it kind of takes any romance out things if you’re purely doing it to get a baby 🙈

@BCxx i know! I didn't realise before how much pressure this could put on a relationship. Not the constant negatives but the pressure to have sex at the right time. I think this coming month I'm going to not tell him a thing about when I'm ovulating and everything. He had a very, very traumatic bereavement last year and he has done amazing. But he is sensitive and I've realised this month I need to take the pressure off him. I haven't been nagging or stressing him but I think he def picks up on my mood and feelings and carries that. I'm just going to try and be more relaxed about it all.

I'm 8dpo now but I don't think I'm pregnant I actually cracked and tested today and I have no idea why I did it. Well I do its because I'm so desperate to give him something to look forward to!! It was obviously negative but now I'm convinced I'm out now and that little bit of hope usually carries me through the month. This is such a heavy experience and I wish I knew less about it all. BUT after a tough day I've kind of turned my thinking around. He doesn't need me to be anything other than present and supportive. If I'm obsessing about getting pregnant and my body clock I'm not fully here for him.

So I've decided that m waking up tomorrow and taking some of the pressure off myself. If its meant to be it will be and all that

Can’t believe I still haven’t tested neither and test day is now in 2 days, AF was meant to arrive today but according to flo test day is Wednesday so nervous and waiting to hopefully miss AF 🥺 xx

Test day for me next Tuesday, purposely been ignorning my body the last few days as not to symptom spot as it never tends to bode well for me although there was a lot of twinging as I was trying to go to sleep last night that was impossible to ignore. Not feeling very hopeful but I think I've just learned to expect the worst every month now. 11DPO today and feeling nauseous and got tender boobs. Had some strange tummy twinges yesterday. Due AF Friday/Saturday. I'm trying to be hopeful as cramping a bit too xx

I’m 5PO today and wiped bright red/pink blood with fmu. And on the second wipe there was nothing! I never bleed/spot outside of AF days and AF isnt due for another 7 days.

Im reluctant to get too hopeful but could this be implantation bleeding?

Anyone with similar experiences?

@UserL95 I can't say that I've ever had implantation bleeding so I can't answer but it sounds right if you don't usually experience this.

I'm 10 dpo today nothing much to report other than a wave of sickness that hit me earlier. Then I had some period type lower back pain on 8dpo...... AF due weds according to my app but my ovulation strips were a bit inconsistent this month cos I was testing at different times of day and I think the app has predicted ovulation a day early. I think AF is actually due Friday
