Hoping for a BFP October/November

Hi all just creating a new thread since the other one is almost full!!! Really really hoping this is our month, but not hopeful, DH is away with work for most of my FW and only comes home the day before I think I will ov. I've also injured my back!!!

So I'm 8dpo tomorrow. With my DD1 I got a faint BFP on 8dpo with a cheap test from Tesco. I have a couple of FRERs in and I'm so tempted to use one tomorrow... but obviously scared of disappointment too.

Last two pregnancies (one mmc) I got a good strong line on a FRER at 9dpo so 🤞

I’m 11DPO tomorrow and going to test. Had a very depressing meeting with IVF consultant earlier today, so hoping against hope I can manage to do this

BFN for me this morning, AF due Saturday so we will see if anything changes but I think we’re onto the next cycle! Staying positive. Good luck to all still waiting x

9DPO today if I go off my app as didnt track this month. Feeling quite nauseous and god my back was killing me yesterday with tummy cramps xx

No sign of AF this morning so I did a FRER, only for it to be a BFN and then AF showed up about an hour later :( it was only our second cycle so I know it was unlikely to happen but you just can’t help get your hopes up can you. I really wanted to get a BFP this month as it would’ve meant we could tell people around Christmas. Oh well onto cycle 3 for us now!

Sorry for the BFNs this morning.

I’m CD9 and got day 2 of flashing smiley face on CB digi. I’ve done a cheap opk and it’s very negative which I’m glad about as don’t want to potentially ovulate until CD12/13.

BFN for me this morning. I know I am only 8dpo and people will think that was too early to test but the darkness of the positive line at 9dpo on my last two pregnancies makes me think this is us out for this month. Trying to be as positive as possible though so will test one more time either Friday or Saturday this week then leave the sticks alone till next month! Xx

@Butterfliesandroses I don’t think you testing is silly. I got a positive at 7dpo with one of my pregnancies. Everyone is different!

I'm on DPO 5 today, I don't want to be period spotting, but I do have crampey feelings (similar to the ones I have a few days before my period)
I've never had painful cramps or anything, but general bloat and feeling of overall contraction down there, but usually quite mild. Anyway I'm feeling those and it's only DPO5... Also been having hot flashes yesterday, and mood swings...
Were these any of the symptoms anyone had in a previous pregnancy?

Also, DPO is counted from the day AFTER ovulation right? So if I ovulated Thursday, Friday would be DPO 1, correct? :-)

@buttercupbee that’s why I was a bit down in the dumps when AF arrived, I so wanted to be 12 weeks by Christmas. Now if it’s this cycle I’ll be 9 weeks or something and would not long have found out before Christmas nights out etc, I feel like it just screams pregnant if I go anywhere and drive so would have to kid on I was drinking. I was out last weekend for the first time in a while and just thought how glad I was that AF had actually arrived because I’d have so struggled to pretend I was drinking and dive away to the bar for a lemonade every so often 🙈

@Olegia that’s what I go by. If I got my peak Wednesday, I’d count as ovulation Thursday and 1dpo Friday. I think the first few days go in so slow especially when you feel like it’s been ages and you’re only 1dpo 😂

11dpo and this is my test - it’s very faint but I definitely see a line… just so worried now it’s an evap or something. I’m going to test tomorrow with a pink one with FMU but I am hoping that this is a real positive…

@Sparklythings1I felt exactly the same, I even had planned out how I was going to do it 🙈 I really do overthink things sometimes! That’s true it will look so obvious not drinking over the festive period, I usually love a drink!

@buttercupbee in theory I thought you could probably just get drinks and pretend to sip them and it would be fine but in reality there is no way I could have got away with that 😂 I would of had to take my drink to the toilet every so often🙈 I really don’t think anyone else would notice as much as you think but people did ask me and another girl (who’s also got a toddler) if we were thinking of having another and I had to play it down so much then felt like eyes were on me to see if I was drinking.. probably imaging it though 🙈

@Sparklythings1 my friends and family are far too perceptive, they’d definitely notice 🙈 I know what you mean, we went to visit family last week during 2ww and I felt like everyone was looking at me when I turned down a glass of Prosecco! I’ll have to make a point of drinking in front of them this weekend now AF is here. Probably all in my head though 😂

@buttercupbee totally! We got married earlier this year and I think it’s just expected after that at times. I was drinking last time the in laws were down and felt like I was being really obvious about it, pouring more wine when my glass was on the table etc like the thought of getting pregnant hadnt even crossed my mind 🤣
