@NSx @FieldView hi cycle buddies, any sign of AF? I've spotted as usual but AF not arrived yet. I'm very bloated, very emotional (although there is a lot of separate things going on in my life which trigger me) and sore boobs. I'm presuming I'm out (not tested) and just wishing AF would hurry up so I can move on to next month.
@NSx I know what you mean re: feeling broken, we're not, but it's still hard not to feel like this at times. Sending lots of hugs

DH & I have just decided to start trying for #3 we have two boys who are 3.5 and 18 months. We've been back and forth but finally decided to just go for it. We fell pregnant unexpectedly quickly with DC1 (I'd had my coil taken out only a week before we found out so even though he was "planned" it was definitely a shock) and DC2 took about 6 months but I was only actually tracking for 3 months.

I always take vital DHA and coq10 along with folic acid when I'm TTC so will do the same this time. And use the clear blue ovulation sticks as although they're expensive I know they work.

Hello cycle sisters! AF due today but hasn't appeared yet, and haven't had the usual spotting. Had a wobble yesterday evening wondering if it'll ever happen, so I've lined up a call with the GP for this afternoon. I'm not really sure what it'll achieve, but I just think I want to complain about it all to someone 😂

Ooo so there are quite a few of us waiting for AF to arrive today, let's hope we have some positive news!
@FieldView good on you for booking a GP appointment, no harm in it, I hope they're helpful. Ive also rebooked my blood tests to check my hormone levels. Other than that my GP said just to try to relax about it.....grrrr if only it was that simple!
Weirdly I'm now feeling nauseous today which I don't usually get when period is due, but its probably my brain/body playing tricks.

Thanks @TTCn2! They were really helpful last year and did the usual blood tests and fb scan, and sent my dh for a semen analysis. Everything was fine, but it's been over a year since all the tests and all I've got to show for it is a 100 bfns and a mc. I know they don't have a magic wand, so totally just grasping at straws! Plus, if the chances of it happening naturally are really low, then I'm wondering if it might be time to consider IVF... How do you know?!?

I’m out this month after a bleed at 4w3d. Feeling lost and confused after twice in three months. Not sure I can handle another loss but keen to keep trying. Hopefully a July BFP x

7DPO today and very mild AF type pains, a big part of me thinks it’s my period and already ready to move to cycle 4 but a small part of me still trying to be in the hope zone and is wondering if they could be implantation cramps as I don’t usually get cramps until day of AF! But I know its most likely period pain and I shouldn’t get my hopes up!

Can everyone give me a brief rundown of their situation with regards to TTC please? First baby? How long have you been trying etc. It's sometimes hard to join these threads when people have been on here a while and know each others situations 🙈🙈

@3rdtimeisacharm I am trying for baby #2. First month trying but didn't track ovulation. I am CD 33. Waiting patiently for AF. Going to track next cycle as this seems to be a long one so think i missed ovulation by a mile!
Baby #1 took 3 months. He's 2.5 now. I'm 30 and partner 33.
How about you?

@3rdtimeisacharm hey lovely, do any of this vitamins alter your cycle? I’ve been considering taking them, I only take folic acid at the moment xxx

Hey @Cm078 yeah my cycles are really irregular and always have been so when we tried for #2 I did the same as you and tried not to track ovulation but after 3 months I felt like I was totally clueless and accepted I'm someone who needs to feel like they've got a bit more control. So I'm just gonna track from the beginning this time. I had my period about 2 weeks ago so not gonna do anything this month and just start after my next period. Good luck and hope it happens quickly for you! I'm 35 next month, TTC baby 3!

@ChloeN I'm so sorry to say but my cycles are all over the place so I honestly don't know whether the tablets affect it or not! How long have you been trying?

@3rdtimeisacharm Yeah same as me. I swore i wouldn't but i haven't got the energy to dtd every other day all month long so Im thinking its time to check!
My cycle before last was 37, last one was 31 and I am now on 33 so guessing I'm really irregular too. Didnt keep tabs on it before as no need to so I'll see what happens this month.

@3rdtimeisacharm ah bugger 🤣 I’m really regular so don’t want to ruin anything! Started in June, pregnant first cycle ended in mmc. Had a period end of august and have just had what a think was a chemical pregnancy! I’m 24 so I don’t think it’s an age related issue just bad luck but i feel like taking vitamins makes me at least feel like I’m doing something! Xx

@3rdtimeisacharm welcome! 35 here, DH 43. Came off the pill in Sept 2020, started ttc #1 in Jan 2021. All bfns apart from a bfp in Nov which ended in mmc and mva in Dec 2021. Or even a whiff of a bfp since...

Cd28 today and waiting for af... she should have been here today but no show, bloody old witch.

Only take folic acid daily (which I'm sick of doing), but have tried pregnacare on and off.

I think that's it in a nutshell!

@3rdtimeisacharm 33 years old, DH 32, Trying for first baby, currently cycle 3 after having copper coil out in June. Use OPKs and BBT. Was taking pregnacare then I tried concieve plus but they mess with my cycle length so I have stopped and just take folic acid gummies now. I think if it aint broke don’t fix it, my cycles have always been regular. Currently 7DPO in cycle 3. Xx

I was part of a TTC group on here for my second baby and it moved over to a fb group and then we eventually branched off into a small WhatsApp group with just 6 of us and I can say with absolute certainty that they're 6 of my best friends in the world now. We speak all day every day, even 2.5 years later. We even hired one of the girls who lives nearby into our business. As weird as MN can be at times, it can also be really wonderful.

Sorry...off on a tangent. Does anyone use anything fancy when TTC? My friend swears by fertility lube but I think DH will tell me to piss off if I even suggest it. I got the fertility cup on a whim recently as it was recommended so I might give that a go. Has anyone tried it?

@3rdtimeisacharm TTC #2, first baby is 15 months but figured it might take a few months so we’d start trying. Onto cycle #2 now as AF arrived the end of last week but had only just stopped the pill so actually wasn’t too gutted for once. First baby took three cycles, one after stopping the pill then one after my first proper period then got pregnant on the third so that would be ideal again 🤞🏼
