Hello all! Not been on here much yet this cycle, we've been on holiday and I didn't take my opks with me. We came back cd14 and I started then but I think I've missed peak, it's now CD18 and no sign of ovulation. Tmi but I also feel a lot dryer down there when DTD so think I've already ovulated. Hopefully it was when we were on holiday and we caught it! No idea when I actually ovulate and cycles have been varying from 28-33 days in the last 4 months so who knows. So I guess maybe I'm now in the TWW. Not sure I can face much more sex tbh. Surely decreasing sex drive and less cm means post-ovulation?!

Now to try to stay sane and not test too early. Been trying to tell myself not to test until CD35 as my cycles have been a bit variable.

Hey, jumping over from the last thread. I fell off the thread on the day AF turned up as my phone went crazy and wouldn’t let me read MN at all.

So I’m CD4 of cycle 13 TTC #3, I have two DS (4 and 8) and had a ruptured ectopic 2years ago and lost my right tube.

I’m thinking about doing BBT this cycle to see if I can confirm ovulation, although I don’t think it will be very accurate as I often don’t sleep all night and forget to do it when I wake up. Need to focus on more sex however!!!

Hi all, im new to this thread haven’t been on MN since I TTC number 1 a couple of years ago, but I’ve found myself here again. Not sure if this is the right thread but I’ve got a BFP today expecting number 2 im still in shock as we wasn’t actively trying but wasn’t being careful either and I just feel scared even though I’ve done this before. I don’t even know the point to this post. I haven’t told anyone yet only my DH he’s very excited but I feel like my minds running away with itself I guess I just feel like I need to tell someone 🙈 I came off the contraceptive patch in March and like I say haven’t been actively trying it took me 9 months to get my daughter she’s 3 in Jan. I’m just freaking out a bit and feel like my minds gone blank from first time round

So CD 32 today. Bfn. Cycle was 31 last month. I'm definitely out though as haven't managed to dtd past cd 17. 🙈
Just patiently waiting for AF now so we can try again!

been cramping all morning, with achey hips and thighs as usual and spotting this morning …

quite relieved so I know I’m onto the next cycle 🤞🏻 Did anyone have anything they did differently on the cycle they got a BFP?

Seen 5 pregnancy announcements in the last 24 hours and it’s made me want BFP so much more for some reason. 6DPO today and not sure if i’m feeling very hopeful, had some spots on my chin appear which sometimes I get before AF and had v mild cramps this morning, period due a week today… SS will start today I imagine!

Urgh it's so frustrating isn't it @Londonlady22! I've definitely hit the age where it feels like EVERYONE around me is either expecting or has children.

I've been SS for the last week. AF due tomorrow and a bfn on a test today. Just hoping AF doesn't keep me waiting! I'm so ready to move on to the next cycle...

@FieldView @Londonlady22 it’s tough! I think a week into the tww is peak hopefulness point, you just so desperately want to speed up time. It’s weird that time is passing by quicker now that AF has arrived 🤔 when it actually means I have longer to wait to be able to potentially be pregnant! It’s weird but I think you just get yourself so hyped up in the tww it’s all you think about. I’m SO jealous of people who don’t even realise they’re in the tww then just find out they’re pregnant

I’m so confused, j was convinced AF was coming, had achey hips/thighs when I woke up and cramps but I’ve literally had the smallest amount of spotting (only on wiping)… and it’s stopped now

I’m CD 34, apparently ovulated on CD 10 according to OPK so technically 24dpo… and period is 11 days late according to my normal cycle

it’s my first cycle off the pill and I wondered if it’s that but I’m just so confused now

Opinions on this test, ladies?

I’ve had horrid cramps, so much so I’ve taken naproxen and have all my normal pre period symptoms. Chemical pregnancy last month.

Looks positive to me @skyofdiamonds just dont take naproxen anymore as it’s an anti inflammatory

Ladies, a question for the group? Is it odd I've not noticed anything different about my CM around ovulation? Both cycles have had flashing smileys Nd then a static smiley which is great but I never really notice CM while people here are often talking about it..just wanted to check if anyone is the same?

@ExcitedandNervousC1 i don’t seem to get this egg white stuff either - I get wet Cm though, like watery … my GP confirmed I ovulated this month with bloods … so maybe not everyone gets it - I don’t know.

it always amazes me how some people can fall pregnant month after month. I swear my body must be broken or something 😩 you’re so lucky in that aspect 🤍

@ExcitedandNervousC1 I noticed it this month but it started a few days before ovulation and died down by ovulation. I think it depends on hormones, how hydrated you are etc.

@BethSuz27 I think it will just be because of the pill. I just stopped mine and AF arrived a few days ago on cd32. Last time it was nearer 40 days for the first month I’m sure! It’s so frustrating because it feels like such a waste of time when you know it’s coming and you need to start again but it’s not even arrived yet

First chemical I only found out about by ending up in A and E in the most excruciating pain, I actually thought I was dying, and this month is manageable but still significant pain that requires anti inflammatories just to continue attending work.
Surely I can’t be normal and can’t see how it will end well, there must be some kind of imbalance going on 😕
I’ll let you know but really have doubts that I will get very far.

@skyofdiamonds fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼 I did have quite bad cramps early on, they were a lot less by 6 weeks but I remember in the second week of the tww there were times I could barely sit up

From my understanding and through reading old pregnancy tests, not everyone notices it. I had some on day 14 and CD 32 now. So I have no idea whats happened there!
Apparently when you notice it, it is your most fertile time and your body preparing for the semen. Can happen 2-3 days before ovulation.
