@december2020 yey. We can count down to testing together!

EdinburghGirl1 · 07/09/2022 09:03

@Jade57 I think the body needs time for the HcG to build up and show after implantation so maybe give it a couple days and try a FRER. My cheapie was negative at 10dpo and trudged out pregnant

Jade57 · 07/09/2022 09:10

@EdinburghGirl1 I'm starting to doubt if I even ovulated. I had the almost positive test at CD9 which would mean by period is bang on time but then I had the two days of high at day 15 and 16 so I really have no idea. Don't think I actually even got a positive opk just dark likes but not as dark as the control line. This is our first month TTC so really I could have been doing it all wrong

EdinburghGirl1 · 07/09/2022 09:19

@Jade57 if you're struggling with those you could maybe try the clear blue ones? And/or BBT which should tell you if you've ovulated

BellaTheDarkOverlord · 07/09/2022 09:20

Hope everyone is ok. Sorry for those that got AF and wish them luck on this next cycle.

I've been out of the thread for a bit due to being very busy at work. 24hr days lately. I'm CD6 today. I think AF finished now. Was very painful. Not sure if I might speak to gp about tests. TTC for 6 months now. I'll see what DH thinks.

mamazac · 07/09/2022 09:21

@BellaTheDarkOverlord I really hope this month is your cycle x

@EdinburghGirl1 I'm considering the clear blue ones. With the bbT tracking is it just a thermometer I need?

EdinburghGirl1 · 07/09/2022 09:49

@Jade57 I used the CB ones and liked them. Yes you need a basal thermometer. You can find them on Amazon easily.

Jade57 · 07/09/2022 09:57

@EdinburghGirl1 thank you so much for your help il get one and try the clear blue tests and hopefully next month will be my month if this isn't implantation bleeding

Welshgal85 · 07/09/2022 13:26

Tophy124 · 06/09/2022 18:00

@Welshgal85 Lots of things can delay ovulation. Stress and illness being major ones. That’s often why periods can skip or get delayed during times of high stress x

Yeah I think maybe that’s it. Day 18 today and still testing as low. We DTD on day 14 but I hadn’t started testing then so wonder if maybe I ovulated early and will get lucky? Otherwise hopefully it will happen in a few days! Starting to feel a bit worried now which obviously won’t be helping!

BellaTheDarkOverlord · 07/09/2022 13:31

@mamazac Thanks xx I hope so. Would be a lovely surprise if it was. I've bought more easy@home ovulation tests and pregnancy strips so at least I have a box of cheapies to use x

Salpforyou · 07/09/2022 14:08

I'm gonna ask a kind of yucky question. When you have the fertile mucus.. does it sometimes like hang out of you? Like a stretchy string of egg white? Is that the correct time to DTD when it's like that?

Like if it started like that on Monday and I DTD on say Tuesday and Thursday... that's within the ovulation period right?

kizzy97 · 07/09/2022 15:17

@Jade57 really hoping this bleeding is implantation for you! Test again in a few days! Everything crossed!🤞

Tophy124 · 07/09/2022 15:20

@Baby3herewego @december2020 I’m also 1 DPO today!! (Unless I tracked it all wrong)

december2020 · 07/09/2022 17:00

@Tophy124 @Baby3herewego yay!
I ordered some OV tests just for curiosity, and it's negative, so either I've OV'd already or potentially about it. Irregular cycles makes it so hard! I'm not feeling super optimistic but ready to see where the TWW takes me. How are you guys feeling?

mamazac · 07/09/2022 17:18

Good luck to all staring your 2ww or new cycles! Can't wait to see your BFP's ❤️

@december2020 try using the OPK’s twice a day. 10am and 5pm are good times. You could be link me and have a really quick surge and not catch the peek but get the high either side of it. Something like 70% of peeks happen between midnight and 4am!

Firsttimetrying2022 · 07/09/2022 17:27

@mamazac started my TWW today and am already inpatient Halo

Firsttimetrying2022 · 07/09/2022 17:36

*impatient

Lollywhite · 07/09/2022 19:12

Has anyone ever experienced a sharp shooting pain sensation at around 6DPO that felt like lightening strike? (best way to describe it)

Not sure if it’s all in my head but I did have little niggles yesterday too!

im 8dpo today and really really tempted to test although I was adamant I was going to wait until sat/sun .. why is this so difficult I’m literally so obsessed!

december2020 · 07/09/2022 19:28

@Baby3herewego took your advice and tested again with an OV stick and it's definitely darker than last time - although not a blazing positive!
This is definitely going to be an interesting TWW! Think DH will have a mild panic attack if it's positive 😬

Baby3herewego · 07/09/2022 19:31

@Lollywhite yes!!! Every time I’ve felt it I’ve ended up being pregnant xxx

Jade57 · 07/09/2022 19:33

Thanks @kizzy97 today has been a weird day! The tiniest amount of brown staining on a pad today and very little when I have wiped. My cervix is so high I can hardly reach it and so soft it's actually impossible to tell it's even there. I visited a relative earlier and her dog sat right beside me and wouldn't move. The same dog done this when I was pregnant with my DD. Feel like I'm clutching at straws but today would be day 2 of AF if yesterday was day 1 even though I'm a week early. On day 2 I'm usually fairly heavy with cramping and have a massive gush when I get out of bed but I didn't have that this morning. I'm trying to hold off until the weekend before testing again but I know I probably won't lol

Baby3herewego · 07/09/2022 19:33

@december2020 what cd are you on?

december2020 · 07/09/2022 19:36

@Baby3herewego CD23, I have irregular periods and suspected PCOS so cycles are about 35-45 days, which makes it all a bit tricker. Had no1 naturally with no fertility treatment, so definitely ovulate, just less predictable. How about you?
