TWW starting 31.07.22 - Company Needed

Hey all!

I'm on several other threads that I'm keeping up with but some of them are a tad long now, so I thought I'd start a new one for people to join.

Ovulation day for me today (30.07.22) so TWW starts officially tomorrow. AF due on the 12th. I have tests in the house, but my goal this month is to keep my mind busy and avoid symptom spotting! I don't plan on testing if I can help it. Want to avoid the disappointment if I can.

We are TTC #1 and we are in cycle 4 now. I had a chemical mid June when we weren't officially TTC but when it happened we realised now was the time to actively try. We wanted it so badly.

So that's a little about me and I would love some company in a slightly smaller thread.

@xttcbabyno1x ooh I can still see the line too! I don't know if it's much darker than yesterday but it's there!

@TheCakeIsALie18 hopefully you'll get a better result in a few days. Not out yet!

Hi @MumofAlf and @peonies1988 👋 - I'm 8 or 9DPO at the moment too. Expecting AF on 13th and no access to tests until then so I'm hoping to hold out until she makes an appearance or is late. (And living through everyone else in the meantime).

@Hannargh was easier to see in person today wasn't squinting as much 🙈 apparently it can take 48 hours to darken us that right ?

@TheCakeIsALie18 working today so that will help :) then will go grab an FRER later! I had to tell him yesterday that I think there could be a line because he said I was "out of it" - he didn't realise I was staring at pics of it on my phone! I've told him I'm not testing again for a bit as I kind of wanted to surprise him xxx

@xttcbabyno1x I hope he was as excited as you when you told him. Or was he quite level headed? My OH is very much chilled out and is like "it will happen when it happens" which doesn't help us much when we are literally watching and waiting. Making sure timing is right. Tracking everything. Testing regularly. And trying to do it all before a certain age lol. Men just don't understand I don't think 🤣 xx

They definitely don't understand 😅 but hopefully if I get a clear positive, I can surprise him then xxx

@xttcbabyno1x urgh men 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣 I understand though. We get our hopes up and then get disappointed but it's our bodies we are relying on. When we feel things it's hard not to get your hopes up.

@TheCakeIsALie18 exactly!! I just hope it's not an evap, never used easy@home before but have bad indents on FRER! But even then usually people say they can't see it where as people have said they can see these lines so I'm hopeful!! Oh I hope so would be lovely to see lots of BFP's xxx

@xttcbabyno1x we can definitely see the line. Stay positive and hopefully you've got some alcohol free champers in the fridge ready! Xx

I’m having quite a lot of implantation blessing. Anyone else?

I didn’t get it at all my last pregnancy. But last night and today, faint pinkish brown when wiping and also slight cramping/twinges on one side of my lower abdomen.

Blessing = bleeding* (typo!)

@Hannargh hey hey! At least no access to tests takes it out of your hands. Hopefully weekend will come around really quickly for you!

@YellsiBabs I've been cramping since yesterday afternoon. Very noticeable but no bleeding so it's not AF coming early. Just hoping it is implantation 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@YellsiBabs do you know that you are pregnant? Not to scaremonger but I had an ectopic pregnancy in June and the cramping on one side and spotting is a symptom. If you know that you're pregnant I'd think about getting in touch with your GP.

@NalaNana @YellsiBabs aye I was thinking that about the one sided cramping. Better to be safe than sorry. I'm sure everything is fine ❤️❤️ xxx

@NalaNana No I have not tested yet. Thanks for the heads up as I wasn’t aware of that. With your experience, what would you suggest I do if I do get a positive test, and obviously due to the spotting and cramping suspect that could be ectopic?

@YellsiBabs I'm sure everything is fine but if you get your positive I'd call the GP to let them know the symptoms. Often they won't scan until 6 weeks because they can't see a lot until then, so you'll probably be offered that scan and told to keep and eye on pain levels etc.

Pain on one side of your abdomen and shoulder tip pain is an emergency situation as it indicates a rupture. You wouldn't expect something like that until you were further on though.

Mine was discovered at 7 and a half weeks and luckily was able to be treated without surgery. I had no idea of the symptoms and whilst I'd heard of ectopic, I didn't know much about it.

I'd try not to worry about all that but just keep an eye out ❤️ x

@NalaNana thank you. I will do that. Not planning on testing before missed period (due 13th/14th). In the meantime will keep positive as I’m not really in pain and the spotting is in line with what Google is describing as the norm for implantation bleeding. Fingers crossed! Thanks for your advice, I appreciate it x

Hi all, may I jump on? We have just started TTC but not really tracked this month. I’m pretty sure ovulation was 31st due to EWCM and the Flo app so 8DPO today. Did a test this morning, despite promising myself I’d wait until the weekend 😆and unsurprisingly BFN which I should have expected as I think it’s too early to tell for me.

Really wish I could hold off and wait until the weekend but I’m sure I’ll be doing another one tomorrow!
