TWW starting 31.07.22 - Company Needed

Hey all!

I'm on several other threads that I'm keeping up with but some of them are a tad long now, so I thought I'd start a new one for people to join.

Ovulation day for me today (30.07.22) so TWW starts officially tomorrow. AF due on the 12th. I have tests in the house, but my goal this month is to keep my mind busy and avoid symptom spotting! I don't plan on testing if I can help it. Want to avoid the disappointment if I can.

We are TTC #1 and we are in cycle 4 now. I had a chemical mid June when we weren't officially TTC but when it happened we realised now was the time to actively try. We wanted it so badly.

So that's a little about me and I would love some company in a slightly smaller thread.

@TheCakeIsALie18 me too! 🤞🏼 it's so scary, every niggle I panic lol! How far along are you I guess the same as me as our periods started same time and we were both due on the 12/13th! Apparently I'm 4+4 xxx

I'm 4 weeks exactly today. I'll be happy if I get past 5+3 🤞🏻❤️ xx

@TheCakeIsALie18 definitely darker ! I'm glad my lines are also progressing was so nervous lol! I've got seriously bad insomnia !

@xttcbabyno1x I hope soooo ❤️🌈 Hubby is happy but we won't be telling any family until 6 weeks. Just to make sure, y'know xx

@xttcbabyno1x how are your lines looking now? They must be nearly as dark as test line if not the same ❤️ xx

@TheCakeIsALie18 yeah that's fair xx we're telling my parents Sunday (5 weeks) because I need my mum to talk to, as it's my first baby (well first was a loss when I was 18, accidental pregnancy) but was keeping! I just want to be able to go to my mum if I'm worried xxx

@xttcbabyno1x awww nice, I'm 30 and really close to my mum so it's going to be hard not to tell her yet. With my CP we told her and she started making a baby blanket haha. I told her to keep making it because we will catch again.

Ahahahhahahaha I'm obsessed too. I just can't believe it yet. I've got 2 digitals in the cupboard. I'm going to take one this weekend and then other next weekend I think. I'm not sure whether this weekend will show at 1-2 or 2-3 as I concieved 2 weeks ago this Saturday... xx

Mine was 2 weeks ago this Saturday too! Well I say that, but I got my peak on 29th of July and then my bbt showed id ovulated by the Saturday morning! So mine saying 1-2 currently xxx

Congratulations @TheCakeIsALie18 <3. I hope you enjoy this exciting time! How many days DPO and pre AF did you test? Did you first see it on a FRER?

@xttcbabyno1x I ovulated on the 30th. It's crazy how close together we are. I'm nervous about doing a digital as it was with a digital that I discovered my CP wasn't progressing 😢

Hi all @xttcbabyno1x those tests look great, good line development. When I was pregnant with DS I tested for weeks and weeks after they BFP lol.

I decided not to test today, I’ve ordered some FRERs which should arrive tomorrow. I’ll be 12DPO so depending what time they arrive I’ll either test tomorrow or Saturday. AF should be due Monday.

@xttcbabyno1x no I only had digitals available when I missed my period with the CP. CB digital gave me a 1-2 week reading and then I started spotting a couple days later. I took another one after 5 days of spotting and it still said 1-2 weeks I passed a clot 3 days after that and then bled for a further 3 days. Took one final one after bleeding stopped and it showed negative. So yeah... nervous to try digital again haha. It is handy to see if your Hcg is going up though as your weeks wouldn't increase if it isn't xx

@TheCakeIsALie18 oh I am so so sorry 🥺 I think I'm going to buy a couple more digitals to keep an eye on this now, was the colour getting darker in other tests? Got everything crossed for you this time round! Have you booked an early scan? Xx

Hi ladies!

My AF arrived this morning, disappointing :(

Seems a bit different to normal as well. 2 days early and has started with brown blood instead of red, and comes after 3 days of light spotting.

Anyway, I’m sad as I loved the idea of an April baby but it’s only cycle 1 so hopefully next time or soon at the least.

Hi everyone! Still going ... currently on 10/11 DPO now. One app says AF due today/tomorrow, another says Saturday, which would put me at my normal 32 cycle (but I've been later than that before).

Heading home this evening and some cheapie tests arriving tomorrow so may test tomorrow or Saturday just to get an idea of what's going on, unless AF beats me to it. These last few days for me feel like the weirdest time as I'm just waiting to see what happens next and trying not to read into where my cervix is 😅

@xttcbabyno1x so with the CP I didn't take any other tests, only digital as that's all I could get hold of local to me when I missed my period. Because we weren't actively trying and I didn't know about lines getting darker etc... I didn't test more than that first one until the spotting started. I was very naive and just thought "well this is it job done" so yeah... testing like crazy now. I will brave a digital next weekend if things keep going well I think ❤️

@TheCakeIsALie18 do you have to take a digital one? I know it’s nice to get the weeks but if it gives you anxiety and worries you? Could just do the regular ones every few days maybe? You’ve got this 👍🏻
@YellsiBabs ahh sorry to hear this. Can feel disappointing but as you say, just cycle 1, lots of luck for cycle 2!
@Hannargh you’ve got great will power to have not tested yet! Fingers crossed Aunt Flo stays away and you get your positive.

Im only 6/7 dpo and bored of waiting already! Just want to know. But pretty sure I’m out this month. Have had no symptoms yet, so think I’m going to just wait for Aunt Flo to arrive rather than seeing a negative test
