TWW starting 31.07.22 - Company Needed

Hey all!

I'm on several other threads that I'm keeping up with but some of them are a tad long now, so I thought I'd start a new one for people to join.

Ovulation day for me today (30.07.22) so TWW starts officially tomorrow. AF due on the 12th. I have tests in the house, but my goal this month is to keep my mind busy and avoid symptom spotting! I don't plan on testing if I can help it. Want to avoid the disappointment if I can.

We are TTC #1 and we are in cycle 4 now. I had a chemical mid June when we weren't officially TTC but when it happened we realised now was the time to actively try. We wanted it so badly.

So that's a little about me and I would love some company in a slightly smaller thread.

Im day 12 tomorrow according to FF and AF will probably be due on day 14 still waiting until Wednesday to test as I feel very out...but no PMS which makes a lovely change!

@Nypie thank you so much!! We tracked ovulation and did the deed, two days before peak and day of peak!! Let the sperm regenerate people ! Xx

Oooh @peonies1988 my AF buddy! How are you feeling? When are you testing? I’m trying to hold off until the weekend but it’s so hard.

Morning @Shefliesonherownwings well I tested this morning on a FRER and it was a definite BFN. I know it's early days but they say they can detect 6 days before your AF and when I tested 6 days prior with my last pregnancy (ended in MC) it was a BFP, so I know it's early but feeling a bit unhopeful now :( Have you tested yet and how are you? xx

@Shefliesonherownwings I really feel as though I've had symptoms though, constantly needing to wee and my sense of smell has been really strong, they're normally the first two symptoms for me, but maybe I'm imagining it. How are you doing on the symptom spotting front? xx

@peonies1988 ive been feeling really bloated the past few days which was a sign when I was pregnant with DS. No other symptoms aside from peeing a lot. The bloating could be due to a very bad weekend with food lol as it was DH’s birthday. I did test yesterday but definite BFN, I suspected it would be too early. I didn’t get a BFP with DS until a couple of days before AF was due. Not tested today, I’m trying to hold off until the weekend. My willpower is pretty week though haha.

@TheCakeIsALie18 never TMI! I also check CM/cervix position to try and get an idea of what's going on. I also get quite creamy CM straight after ov and then it dries up. Would normally expect it to have dried up by now (due Fri/Sat) but we will see...

@peonies1988 @Shefliesonherownwings hi! I'll also be testing on Sunday/Monday if AF doesn't make an appearance before then 😊

Eeek so many of us are testing this weekend... I hope it's a lucky thread and we all get a bfp!!

So another cheapie test done this morning. Still BFN. Had more cramping last night still no blood though so its definitely not AF. AF due 13th at the latest, more likely due 11th/12th. I don't get cramps for AF until it has already started normally. So I'm still keeping my fingers crossed. FRER due to arrive today so will use one of those tonight. If still BFN ill stick to cheapie until Thursday or unless AF shows up. I really hope it doesn't 😭

Still sneezing and itchy nose, bloated and now constipated too... which is unusual for me shall we say.

Keep those fingers crossed for me I'd love a spring baby ❤️

@Hannargh thanks. I know that most women aren't fussed about the TMI stuff because of the general shit we have to deal with haha. Good to know that the reappearance of the CM has happened to other people too. Xx

@TheCakeIsALie18 sorry your still testing negative and your body is giving you all the signs that must be fustrating hopefully its still too early! Remind me what cycle it is for you?

I still think we must have a few more BFPs to go and hope we can carry on this group and check up on eachother

I'm feeling okay I almost cried during group supervision talk about bloody embarrassing but I get a bit weepy before period anyway. Its so annoying how period symptoms and pregnany symptoms are the same! Also been craving chips...is that even a craving 😂😂😂 putting them on now

@Nypie it's cycle 2 since CP and cycle 3 total. FRER due to arrive this evening so will take one of those tomorrow morning AF due in 2-3 days, flo says 13th but that would put my cycle 2 days longer than usual lol. So I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for my BFP this month. Cramping seems to have stopped too after 2-3 days. Let's hope it was implantation.

Ahhh chips.... sorry not a craving because who doesn't love a massive bowl of chips 🤣🤣 haha jokes. I hope it is a sign for you xx

@TheCakeIsALie18 fingers crossed for tomorrow! Even if it’s negative that doesn’t mean it’s not happening, might just need another day or so to get that hormone showing. With my first, I tested on the first day of my missed period and the line was so so faint, wasn’t sure if I was just making it up. Even second day it was so faint I thought maybe chemical pregnancy. But it got darker and darker as days went on and baby grew as normal. So don’t count yourself out until AF arrives.

I agree with @MumofAlf especially if you implanted late it could take some time to show!

Im testing tomorrow though I'm not hopeful but it is the first cycle and I'm prepared so hopefully it wont be too upsetting! What about you?

@MumofAlf yeah if I implanted anytime in the last 2-3 days (when cramping has been happening) it could take 5 days for hormone to show so fingers crossed if it has happened I should get the BFP on AF due day. I'll be honest though I'm tempted to start doing 2 cheapies a day just to check 🤣🤣

@Nypie haha I would love chips to be my craving lol. Love them for my cheat meal each week hahahaha. You're not out till AF shows so hang in there. I've got everything crossed for you. I'm desperate to see a second line now haha. I've got some CB digitals in the cupboard and I haven't wasted them yet... but I'm getting close 🤣

@TheCakeIsALie18 <3 - Honestly no it hasn't, I did a Clear Blue Digital this afternoon, which was positive 1-2 weeks which shocked me as i'm only 10dpo and I thought these weren't sensitive! I got a midwife pack from the doctors today and had to fill in a form, they should get back to me within the week it says :) xx

I'm trying to keep level headed it's likely that in 6 months I should be pregnant I've waited longer then that for a holiday let alone a tiny liitle human that will turn my life upside down. I always say to my single friends to enjoy their lives because so much will change when you meet someone and its not negative there are just things you wont be able to have anymore so Im gonna try and practice what I preach and enjoy this empty nest 😂.

Also don't blame you with the name change I used to lurk while I was waiting for the green light and its a lot of info we put on here. I'll probably do the same next cycle!

Chips! I'd hate that to be craving I'd turn into a potato. My craving better be kale or those awful smoothies! Aw thank you I do have hope but it's small I shall think of you in the morning when I'm peeing into a egg cup 😂😂😂. Don't you touch those CBs yet theyre so expensive! Though to be spare some people find that they're quite sensitive!

Apologies for the essay but I have a question, sex around the time of implantation?? Do people avoid it or is that strange to even think...the two times me and dp have done it this week has felt quite weird like I'm ruining what probably is not even there in the first place
