Struggling with the change in hormones that AF brings. Having been on the pill so long is forgotten how low my mood can get. Have spent days arguing with DP, we've both been unreasonable but aren't normally like this. I love him dearly but everything he does and doesn't do is irritating me 😣 can't wait for this to be over.

@CDD1992 I think that we just have less patience than normal, so being aware of that helps both us and our other halves. Also, when ttc we have the added emotions of not conceiving. When I feel cranky I tell my DH... 'Word of warning I am cranky today...' Then at least he knows not to annoy me... 😅 And if he does, then it's not like he wasn't forewarned 😁 he usually gives me a hug and gives me some space.

Interesting about the am theory. Not the easiest for us but my daughter is at her dad’s this weekend so will be doing some morning BD for sure

@thedust @Orangesaretheonly sorry you had to move over here but welcome. I'll be doing SMEP this cycle too. Tried last cycle but didn't work. My daughter’s birthday is end of May too and agree it’s a great time for a birthday.

@Mummyme87 87 that's great the starflower oil is working for you and good your not going to peak too early again this month. All very positive for you.

@CDD1992 sorry AF is bringing you moodiness and irritability. It's crazy what hormones do to you isn't it. I'm cycle 3 too. I came off the pill in June.

Hormones are awful things aren’t they! I could really feel a difference being off the pill, in just one day I think I’d had every emotion going, I find during af my anxiety is worse too!

Went a bit AWOL whilst moping but now on CD6 and waiting to go. Today has been really strange, both work and baby wise. In my son's due date group two ladies have tested today and both got BFP and another has announced she is nearly 12 weeks. There has been a flurry of other group announcements too. There are only 100 of us - feels like I'm the only one failing atm! Two only DTD twice and the other 3 times. I even managed to order pregnacare vitamins instead of the conception ones accidentally. Hopefully I will need them soon, but this is clearly sending me loopy...

We tried as I was ovulating before but I did have a drink so I'm not holding onto hope. Should I be worried if I were to be? I don't drink usually but did for the occasion.

CD 4 today and finally feeling better about things and a little bit more hopeful again. I was in a right funk all of Sunday so yesterday cleaned the house from top to bottom and bought myself some new flowers to cheer me up, felt so much better for it, that might have to be my my new ritual for future BFNs and AFs arriving! New flowers, a fresh house and clean bedding to represent a new cycle! Thinking to give SMEP a go this month once AF is gone!

I started bleeding this morning after a bit of spotting yesterday but it's completely stopped. Had my mooncup in and it's empty and (tmi) inserted a finger and no blood at all. Been testing every day since Sat (10dpo) and all absolutely negative no squinters in sight. Not sure what's going on. Just want af to start properly so I can plan next cycle!

Glad you're feeling a bit better. We did loads of diy today and ended with a big clean and fresh flowers and sheets and I'm totally with you on it helping mindsets. Fingers crossed for us this cycle 💕

@Londonlady22 I am glad that you are feeling better today. I am cd 10 and we are doing Smep this cycle. I got a flashing ☺ on my cb opk this morning, but my cheapie opks are negative. We dtd CD 8 and CD 10.

@Aurora81 thanks, ooo good luck… happy BDing, would you recommend CB OPKs, I used amazon cheapies last month and got a positive but don’t know if there is difference with the CB ones that could be more beneficial?
