TWW testing first week of August

[TC95]

This is my third cycle trying, I’m currently 5dpo and definitely symptom spotting already 🙃 thought it would be nice to have some company in the TWW, meant to have AF on the 5th august but hoping I won’t 🤞🏻

@TC95 I think I might order some FREPT and do one on Thursday or Friday 😬 how have you found it? I’m a complete newbie! Have you had any early signs?

Guess I shouldn’t have champagne at the big family get together today! Only a squinter though so trying not to get too excited. I had some chemicals/early miscarriages before my first.

@Katt12345 I'm waiting until Friday to test which might be a bit early at 9dpo but I don't think I'll be able to sit on my hands any longer than that 😂

Sent my husband to the supermarket for folic acid as my breastfeeding vitamins contain vit A but he’s struggled to get anything. Lots of shelves of homeopathy though 🙄. I’ll have to dodge my mother in law and go to a pharmacy tomorrow.

@LorrenK ooh you’ll have to keep us updated on what it says! I feel like I’ve got some signs but could also be AF signs too so trying not to read too much into anything, what about you?

Hope everyone else is having a good weekend. Didn't post yesterday as we were at a wedding - both me and my OH became super broody because there were so many babies/children invited. Even ended up discussing what we would do with a nursery (he's now so excited that I'm having to keep reminding him that we're not even pregnant yet 🙈).

@TC95 oh booo 😢 there is always time until AF shows. I've read implantation can happen anywhere between 6-12 dpo so def not out yet!

@mummatara yeah I’m gonna keep testing until AF does show but don’t feel very positive any more haha think we’re just gonna have to try again next month!

You're def not out yet @TC95 . 10dpo is still early to test. (even though I caved and tested 8pdo 😂)
Fingers crossed its still busy implanting and in a few days will show up.

Its hard seeing that negative result though x

@trailrunner87 thank you I was hoping there would at least be a faint line but it is early and I’m not due AF till Friday, I also don’t really know how sensitive these cheap tests I got online are so it could be all down to that. I just really thought this was our month but I’ll keep testing and just have to wait and see! How are you feeling today? X

I know exactly how you feel! I was so hopeful and sure this is the month.

I'm OK but just so ready for a positive result. Its only been three months trying so I know I'm still early in the journey but still.

My cheap tests say they're sensitive but there's so many in the pack I don't know how good they actually are.
Got sore boobs since Friday and and some lovely spots coming up on my jaw line 😩. Super attractive 😂

Going to hold strong until Tuesday and keep fingers and toes crossed for a positive line 🤞

@trailrunner87 yeah I’ve made myself feel a bit better by reading stories about ladies who tested at 10dpo and got BFN to then go on and get a BFP a few days later 🤣 I’m so up and down today but got fingers crossed for us all 🤞🏻 That’s good then that you’ve got some symptoms! I know what you mean my tests said can show positive from 10dpo but for a pack of 30 I’m starting to doubt it 🙃you’re a stronger woman than me I’m gonna test again tomorrow morning 🤣 just having a lazy day I’ve scrubbed the kitchen already this morning though so not that lazy x

😂 😂 I also searched 10dpo on MN so I could see some positive outcomes after neg tests.

@TC95 10days is still early, plenty of people dont get BFPs until later, maybe HCG is not detectable yet, when is AF due? Don’t be too disheartened!

@LorrenK not due AF till Friday so yeah still plenty of time I think I’m just feeling a little disheartened but you never know could still happen! I’m gonna test tomorrow morning again and see and just take it day by day until Friday. I’m tryna tell myself as well that the tests probably aren’t sensitive enough as well!

@TC95 yeah I don’t think they are, especially the cheapies maybe try a first response 6 day early one

Hi all, hope you don't mind a late joiner... I'm due AF on 6 Aug, currently 5dpo. Feeling extremely tired today even though I've had a lazy weekend 🙈 also trying to convince myself that I have sore boobs (unusual tor me!) But it could just be me squeezing them all the time to check 😂

@TC95 think I saw you had a sniffly nose etc.... I've read that very early pregnancy can lower your immune system and make you more susceptible to colds so you never know!
