TWW testing first week of August

This is my third cycle trying, I’m currently 5dpo and definitely symptom spotting already 🙃 thought it would be nice to have some company in the TWW, meant to have AF on the 5th august but hoping I won’t 🤞🏻

Okay so I have in as I found some cheapie tests. BFN so looks like I'll be going into Cycle 9 🙃 only 8DPO but AF due in 4 days so could maybe still be too early but not holding out x

@NiceToChat88 it might just be too early! I’ve still got my fingers crossed and sending baby dust your way no matter what

It's funny you're all talking about feeling positive this month, @Lapin387 @TC95 @anotherscroller - I was feeling pretty positive about this month too, literally until last night. Then, randomly, I was lying in bed trying to go to sleep and just had an overwhelming mood swing to feeling like it was never going to happen.

Which hasn't been helped by being woken at 5am by the cat bringing in one of next door's baby quails... couldn't go back to sleep after that, and now I'm eating loads 😞

@simplythequest but this is pretty much the first month after getting my period back (still breastfeeding my 2.5 year old and got it back a few months ago) that we’ve been able to dtd near ovulation, so I suppose I have some hope where before I haven’t.

@Lapin387 I'm glad you're feeling hopeful! It's a nice feeling to have. My hope isn't from anything as certain as yours - had a weird period at the beginning of this cycle which was followed by more fertile cm than I've had since my mc. Could be pure coincidence, but a little part of me wonders whether that was a sign that my body is ready to get pregnant again. Sounds silly to me now I'm not feeling as hopeful though!

@simplythequest I think usually I try and take a very critical approach and tell myself that what I’m feeling is probably nothing but this month I wanna embrace it, just because if I am pregnant then I don’t wanna have been dismissing all those first little signs and I think I’m doing that it’s made me feel a lot more positive! I have a good feeling going into testing this month and that’s a first for me 😂

Hey ladies hope everyone's had a good day. I'm feeling utter rubbish nose has been running like a tap all day. But the good news is bbt has confirmed ovulation so I'm officially 3dpo 🥳

@mummatara yay at least you know for definite now! My tests came before and I’m super tempted to take one tonight but I’m gonna try my best to wait it out till tomorrow morning

@TC95 eeek 🙈 I wouldn't do one tonight def go for FMU the strips are very unlikely to show anything with an evening wee well in my experience anyway. Though tbf when there are 30 in the box it doesn't feel like a waste if you think fuck it and do one 😂

@mummatara exactly I was saying before it 100% wouldn’t be positive tonight even if I am pregnant but it’s still so tempting 🤣

I am 5dpo and had on off cramping all day a bit like I am about to come on AF but not due till 8th (I have long cycles). Could it be implantation or is it too early??

Hii.. so im on cycle 7 ttc.. baby no 3. And 10dpo today.. took a test and was invalid and only hve 1 left now.. AF due 3rd august.. no symptom part from sore boobs since yesterday well just a twinge here and there.. had a few cramp and stuffiness but trying not to pinpoint as i hve in the past and been let down.. cervix was high and soft yestrday and today its low and firm again.. think im out and so gutted.. dont know how much bfn tests i cn tke.. sending lots of baby dust to u all xxxx

@Aimee1995 i read somewhere that you can implant as early as 5dpo but it’s usually 6/7dpo onwards, but it could be that if it’s out the ordinary for you!

Well I tonight I tested positive for.....COVID 😭🙄 FML this better not affect anything

@Katt12345 ypu never know, you’re not out till AF makes an appearance, maybe leave it a couple days and then take another test? X
@mummatara oh no hope you’re ok! If it makes you feel any better my friend had covid while pregnant and didn’t make any difference to her and another one has covid and then fell pregnant the month after, but everyone’s different!

@TC95 thanks I feel pretty rubbish but hopefully won't feel crappy for too long 🤞🏼 I've actually had covid in all my pregnancies so maybe it's a sign 😂

i’m 5dpo (cycle 1 and baby no1) and really not loving this 2WW, i’m trying to keep busy but it’s all I can think about, symptom spotting has totally began, last night I convinced myself I was pregnant as I felt super bloated and crampy and thought my boobs felt bigger, probably my mind running away with me as it’s too early to feel anything… I also had a really vivid dream last night I got a BFP.

@LorrenK you never know it could be a lucky first cycle for you 🤞🏻 When is AF due? Sending you lots of baby dust, it can be super hard not to symptom spot!

@TC95 well One app is telling me the 6th August and another the 9th… so we’ll see, what about you?

@LorrenK meant to be due AF the 5th but I’m 9dpo so going to start testing tomorrow! So annoying how apps can predict different things! Which apps do you use?

Im going to wait till monday/tuesday to test.. when is every1 else testing? X

Oh wow so exciting!!! Wishing you all the luck!! Keep us posted! I use one called P tracker, its the one I have used for years and years way before worrying about TTC so it has years worth of data so I can’t bring myself to delete it, I recently started natural cycles back in May where I track BBT etc and I downloaded fertility friend last night which is fab!! But the trouble is you get different predictions, if my NC is correct technically I could test on a 6 day early first response one on Monday 😬 but I’ll try and hold out…. What cycle is this for you?? I have all my fingers crossed!

@LorrenK I think the longer you’re tracking the more you get to know your body as well and know like which one of the apps is more accurate for you, I use the Flo app for tracking and it’s almost always right! Ooh do you think you’ll test then on Monday or try hold out till AF, or somewhere in between? This is my third cycle ttc baby 1 but I’ve been saying I have a really good feeling about this month!
