TWW testing first week of August

This is my third cycle trying, I’m currently 5dpo and definitely symptom spotting already 🙃 thought it would be nice to have some company in the TWW, meant to have AF on the 5th august but hoping I won’t 🤞🏻

@Londonlady22 ahh lovely it's so hard 💕 10dpo could still be too early for a positive. I've never had a positive this early before my previous pregnancies were positive at 10 and 11dpo. The unusual symptoms don't help matters sending big hugs 🫂

@mummatara so so excited and happy for you! Let us know what the test says in the morning but there was definitely a line there

@Londonlady22 I feel you!! I'm 11dpo today and have been seesawing wildly this month about testing or not. I'm trying to wait until af is due (Saturday or Sunday, probably, but could even anything up to Tuesday according to the app), but have been so tempted to test because of several signs that are getting my hopes up - mostly, waves of nausea throughout the day and a lack of a certain PMS sign so far... TWW sucks big time 😑

the TWW is so tough! When I get stuck in a wave of down from it I try to distract myself with a phone call or something. Probably not the greatest advice but hate the thought of people feeling down and angry x
I’ve lost all symptoms that I was clinging to now so have given in to waiting for AF this weekend for a new cycle to try again.

Hi everyone just an update I’m 14dpo and still getting bfn on cheapies. I’m due AF tomorrow and every time I go the toilet I’m convinced she’s gonna be there but nothing yet. Driving myself mad I just either want a BFP or AF so I know for certain 🤣 feeling super tired the past couple of days and a little emotional which feels like AF signs!

So, after a terrible night of disturbed sleep (thanks to the pets and my body never wanting to go back to sleep once it's woken up!) I just couldn't bear the not knowing any longer, caved, and took a test.

I cried. So scared it's going to go wrong again!

I did another test this morning there is still a line but it isn't any darker than yesterdays which I am not surprised about since it's barely half a day later from when I took the original 🥴

@mummatara thank you feeling a bit defeated, tryna tell myself there’s still hope and I may have ovulated later than I thought but I think I’m just waiting for AF really 🤣

@mummatara although saying that I’ve taken a test this morning and I’m sure I can see a vvvvvfl but I’m tryna convince myself I’m just seeing things, it’s not showing up on camera it’s so faint so I dno but I’m still certain AF is gonna come today no matter what!

@TC95 what did you use to track ovulation? The test this morning was it a strip or a frer? My strip ones are still looking very negative

I think I am out! Started getting that feeling of AF coming yesterday afternoon and got light spotting last night and this morning, but nit due until Monday! At least I haven't wasted a test this month!!

@mummatara I had a few clear blue ovulation tests leftover so used them and got a flashing smiley round the time my app said I was ovulating, and I’ve only been using the strip tests not frer. If I was right on ovulation I’d be 15dpo today so I’d think I’d get a strong line if I was? AF is due today so I don’t know whether or not to just leave it and see over the next couple of days if she comes before testing again?

@TC95 if you didn't see a solid smiley your ovulation day could be wrong I had 8 days of flashing smileys before my peak 😳 I would have thought at 15dpo you would see something I think if it was me I would see if af shows in the next couple of days and if she doesn't use the frer your ovulation date might be wrong

@mummatara yeah I’ve got a feeling it’s nothing so I’d rather wait a few days and see if AF turns up! But your right my ovulation day could be wrong usually I get pains like the day k ovulate and I didn’t get that this month either

Thanks everyone! I'm so paranoid that AF is going to turn up 😆 thank goodness my husband is feeling optimistic, he can do the celebrating and take me along with him - I'll stick to quiet paranoia, a little anxiety and a teeny bit of hope until things look more certain. So not until we get past where we were before (7 weeks!). The next 3 weeks could go very slowly...

@TC95 I hope you did ovulate later and it's just not time yet 🤞🏻as mummatara says, a solid smiley signals ovulation, and even when you get that, ovulation isn't until the next day...

I swear I won't symptom spot and test ealry but always end up over analysing everything. 🤪

13dpo and BFN here so I’m out. Started to feel crampy just now too so AF is definitely on her way. On to cycle 4 (/5 if you count MC)…

@J1290 haha! Do you just need to see the words to believe it? It does make a difference. Had I just posted a picture of the non-digital test, I think people would have wondered if it was a proper line because they photograph badly! Can't argue with a digital!
