TWW starts now.. Anyone testing 1st August?

I had a positive smiley yesterday on a clear blue digital, DTD today, yesterday, day before and every other day before that. I would do tomorrow but fiance goes away for 5 nights for work. I think / hope I've done enough 🤞

Is anyone testing 31st / 1st July? Here if anyone wants company! 🙂

@Donutworryaboutit sorry I'm not an expert when it comes to temping but could that spike not be that you have just ovulated? Others might be able to help you more.

I am now officially in the tww 1DPO. DTD the last 3 days so hoping to be successful this month

I still do my ovulation sticks and temp in my 2WW. My temp dropped a bit again today and my stick is a little darker than yesterday so gonna DTD again for a few case in case I didn't actually release an egg 4 days ago. I've had it a few times on the last my body has had another go a few days later. Probably because I'm 39 and it's forgetting what to do 😂 x

@Nita19 ohh good I'm glad it's not just me!! Well AF is due around the 28th, but I'm going to try and wait to test if I am late. That's such a good idea, I have so many pregnancy tests in the house I will probably end up testing early! When will you?

@Donutworryaboutit we are both in the same boat then! So you are predicting ovulation for Saturday but last DTD Wednesday?
I DTD 3 days before my predicted ovulation day too, so we may still have a chance you never know! 🤞

@LittleDoveLove my boyfriend is away now 😭so hoping his swimmers have set up camp up there 🤣

I continue to temp but I don’t do sticks… maybe I should do both!!

@LilyDaniels personally I think I ovulated yesterday or today apparently the app is likely to confirm after a few more temps so we will see!

we dtd on Tuesday evening and Wednesday afternoon and he’s away now for the whole TTW 🤣🤣

@Donutworryaboutit I'm sorry to hear that, it's frustrating isn't it. Hopefully next month the timing will be better. Does your DH work away or is it more a one off (holiday etc)?

I'm 8/9dpo today, my temp shifted up again today after being low for 2 days. Hoping it was an implantation dip but I'm not so sure. The bloating/sickly feeling I've had for 2 days has mostly gone now, but I feel very tired today - can easily be explained by working in a different location this week/different commute. Doing quite well at staying calm this month and not getting my hopes up!

@vitahelp he works away frequently it just happens to be this is our first month “trying” and I am getting over excited 🤣

the symptom spotting is the worst isn’t it? I’m going to try my absolute best not to do it but I am very much an over thinker so I think it’s practically impossible ! When will you test?

@Donutworryaboutit well I got a positive OPK Saturday, then again on Tuesday! I had loads of EWCM Tuesday and lots of cramps Wednesday..so I am guessing I ovulated Wednesday. I think I will test on the 2nd, unless I can hold out till the 3rd... What about you?

I have a wedding on Saturday 30th.. even though my chances are slim on conceiving this month I still think I'll try and avoid alcohol, just to be on the safe side! Not sure how I will survive the day 🤣

I'm going to try and hold out until 11dpo to test (Sunday) but I will start getting tempted tomorrow. I tend to be worse at weekends as I'm off work so have more time to think and easy access to tests 😂

@LilyDaniels I hope you enjoy the wedding next weekend. I once went to a wedding without drinking (wasn't pregnancy related, just had to drive) and ended up eating 8 krispy kreme donuts from a giant donut tower over the course of the day, it definitely made up for the lack of alcohol!!

@Nita19 I can't wait to hear everyone's test results!! It's so tempting to test early but if I do it too early I'll drive myself crazy if it's a BFN lol.

Haha hopefully they have a good selection of doughnuts / sweet stand at the wedding for me to indulge in 😁

@LilyDaniels I'm already having wild thoughts about testing tonight, but I'll hopefully be able to hold out until weekend. Even that will be too early to test really.

I'm terrible I tend test about Day 10! Can't resist 😂 I did get a positive on Day 12 last time when a negative at 10 so maybe I should wait for 12!
I can recommend the sticks - just an extra indicator 😊 I just use the cheapies now from eBay - not the £30 clearblue ones! X

Morning everyone, I tested this morning at 10dpo and BFN..feeling quite gutted, I was doing well staying calm but after having such bad bloating and also a headache for the past 24 hours I was starting to get my hopes up. I know I’m not out yet but feeling like it’s unlikely now.

@vitvitahelp Try not to let it get you down as you could still get a BFP in the next few days you never know! What brand did you use?

@vitahelp with my first baby I didn't get a bfp til 12 days so you're definitely not out yet!

That's the problem with us all testing early - we get disappointed with the bfn even though it may just be testing too early!

Hows everyone feeling? I feel pretty much normal apart from the fact I've been bloated basically since ovulation and I seem to have gained a few pounds! But I'm only 6po so too early to be feeling anything really. With my bfp last time I had no symptoms at all, so trying to stay positive and wait patiently to test. Haven't even ordered any as I know that as soon as they arrive I'll start testing even if it's too early 😂

my app still hasn’t confirmed ovulation which is a bit annoying so I don’t even know if I have ovulated this month yet 😭

yesterday and the day before I had lower back pain and cramping that I had to use a hot water bottle to help relieve. Otherwise no symptoms to note. Temps seem erratic as well. Feeling a bit meh but keeping busy today.

Thanks ladies! I have 2 apps and one thinks I’m 10dpo and the other thinks 9dpo so could well be too early to test. I got a faint positive with my DD at 11dpo.

Im going to the cinema with DD today to keep busy! Got family up tomorrow so that will help keep my mind off things too!

@eatsleeprepeat123 That's a good idea not having any tests in so you don’t get tempted. I’ve only got one left now.. when I was pregnant with DD I got a bad cold during the 2WW that DH had as well, so I had loads of symptoms but were probably all related to the cold. It’s weird I’ve had a continuous headache now since yesterday but could just be run down after holiday/having covid.

@Donutworryaboutit It looks like your app might confirm O soon as you’ve had a couple of days over baseline. Mine waits for 3 temps over baseline before it confirms O.

@Donutworryaboutit I think you ovulate on 16 when your temp has risen.

@vitahelp I have had 2 positives on 12 DPO. One at a 9 DPO but that a early miscarriage. I think it depends when in the window the conception happened. However would go for 12 and not be worried about a negative at 10. I got a negative at 10 and I'm sat next to my 3 year old now 😊.

I'm feeling fine symptom wise. Only 5 days DPO and was already knackered so that's still there 😂.

This is mine @Donutworryaboutit mine is also a bit erratic pre ovulation but I am putting the earlier peaks and dips down to having some wines on holiday as that effective BBT and the hot weather where I was!
