Ooh I would be interested to hear any pointers from the book.
I've heard it talks a lot about avoiding chemicals but I ditched a lot of that (perfume, body lotion etc) anyway when I started breastfeeding.

My EWCM hasn't come back since giving birth. I hoped it would when I stopped nursing but it didn't. I did manage to conceive (I had a mmc) anyway so I'm hoping it's not that big a deal. And I use pre seed; love that stuff!

Just started but already really interesting. Maybe I’ll do a thread when I’m done! Every little helps I guess.

I would be interesting in hearing pointers once you’re done.
However I don’t think I’ll be ditching my perfume anytime soon…
let me know when you’re done x x

I used the clear blue fertility lube the first time round.
it was good and obviously worked as I got pregnant with only having sex 3 times during my fertile window x

Hi ladies! CD24 here, period hasn’t showed up yet but I’m a bit PMS-y and still testing negative so reckon it will happen in the next couple of days. On to cycle 2 πŸ’ͺ🏻

NSx · 07/07/2022 14:17

Hopefully not 🀞 β€” but if so, welcome πŸ’•πŸ’•

I definitely recommend starflower oil for EWCM, it has worked 3 times for me, works within days!

What’s the dosage ? I’ve never heard of this ?

ally62442 · 07/07/2022 19:16

Hi everyone am I OK to jump on this thread?

I'm currently on CD 2. Thought I might have been lucky enough to get caught last month but Af arrived yesterday. πŸ‘Ž

Got a while to wait till ovulation. So thought I'd join you all. I'm trying for baby number 3. I have two boys already who are 2 and 4. With my first little boy I joined a thread and found it really comforting and helpful during the tww.

Let's hope we all have a brilliant month. Xx

RugbyGirl1 · 07/07/2022 20:04

Evening primrose oil is meant to be good for EWCM but you should only take it up until ovulation and not after. Tbh I tend to forget taking yet another vitamin so just rely on preseed πŸ˜‚

calipoppy · 07/07/2022 20:42

@NSx apparently it's like evening primrose but stronger - I found out about it by accident when my evening primrose order was substituted with it! I take 1000mg a day x

I’ve just bought it in boots, gonna start it tonight see how I go, will try anything to be successful this month- 🀞 thanks for the tip x

ExPatHereForAChat · 07/07/2022 22:03

Ooh thanks for starflower oil tip! I'll buy this when my evening primrose oil runs out.

calipoppy · 07/07/2022 22:26

@NSx @ExPatHereForAChat hope it works as well for you as it does for me! Last month I was getting negative opks, started taking it on day 15 out of desperation and ovulated day 18! So I'm hoping it'll help get me back to normal cycle length this month

NSx · 08/07/2022 08:42

do you think it will work, just to enhance what I already have, I don’t think I have issues ovulating as I got a positive OPK last month, but I’m just trying to do everything to make myself as fertile as possible? X

calipoppy · 08/07/2022 15:44

@NSx I think everyone is different and you kind of have to try different supplements and see what works for you. For me I'm sure it helped me conceive first time round, I was getting positive OPKs every month but never getting EWCM then on the 7th month I decided to start starflower oil and got absolutely loads of EWCM and conceived!

NSx · 08/07/2022 16:49

@calipoppy
i am defo going to give it a bash, I’ve never really taken any supplements except like folic acid.
so fingers crossed 🀞 xxx

Mummyme87 · 09/07/2022 10:06

Good morning ladies!!!
I’ve moved over from the March group.
cycle 10, CD1 of TTC baby number 3 with only my left tube due to a ruptured ectopic in July 2020. And I’m 35yrs.
I take every bloody supplement, CoQ10, omega 3, folic acid, vit D, zinc and Wild nutrition fertility. I will look into the starflower oil though as I don’t think I have much EWCM.

I have a GP phone appt on Wednesday re being on cycle 10 with no pregnancy and also complained about struggling with weight loss.

ExPatHereForAChat · 09/07/2022 10:41

Best of luck at the GP appointment @Mummyme87 . Perhaps this will be the thread we prove Starflower gets us BFPs!

RugbyGirl1 · 09/07/2022 11:32

@Mummyme87 good luck with the GP - they should run blood tests for you, some to be done on certain days of your cycle etc

@calipoppy thanks for the tip! I'll add it to my long list of vitamins and supplements πŸ˜‚

Think I'm now officially out for a March baby so fingers crossed for April 🀞 I do seem to have lengthened my luteal phase though, was due to start AF today and just spotting so far. Done a frer which was negative so just waiting for AF to show in full force

Mummyme87 · 09/07/2022 12:46

@RugbyGirl1 yes I’ve already had LH & FSH and Progesterone done via a consultant at work. First lot are fine but didn’t seem to ovulate first month I checked and did second month. I’m happy for them to be repeated again but would like thyroid done and will take anything else

RugbyGirl1 · 09/07/2022 13:39

@Mummyme87 ah ok! My GP put me down for LH, FSH, progesterone, prolactin, testesterone and thyroid so hopefully yours will do the same 😊 plus rubella and clymidia antibody screenings. Turns out I hadn't had the full MMR as a child and therefore wasn't immune to rubella so had to have the jab for that!

Mummyme87 · 09/07/2022 14:36

@RugbyGirl1 I had an extra MMR about 10yrs ago for work. Occ health we’re doing random checks, I wasn’t immune to measles but definitely rubella, and that was checked in first two pregnancies

AprilMayAnne · 09/07/2022 19:05

Hello ladies, is it okay if I join from the March board? 😊 I'm 15DPO today and testing negative, been told to stop oestrogen and progesterone supplements (I'm on medicated/monitored cycles) and wait for AF, so starting a new cycle this week coming. This will be my second treatment cycle and third TTC overall, but we've been trying for 7 months - I'm very irregular, hence the treatment. Feeling like an absolute hormone monster at the moment! Looking forward to a fresh start πŸ’• DH and I have birthdays and our wedding anniversary in April, so it would really be a bumper month if we're lucky enough to get a BFP this time around! Xxx

AprilMayAnne · 09/07/2022 19:14

@Mummyme87 I've also had prolactin, testosterone and thyroid like @RugbyGirl1 . I've got PCOS and irreg cycles so I'm not generally a useful example, but as one tip, my TSH (thyroid) came back as normal but within the top half of the reference range. I talked to my GP and because for fertility it's regarded as better for TSH to be in the bottom half of the reference range, they still put me on 25 mcg levothyroxine to help bring my TSH down. I don't know if they'd have volunteered it if I hadn't asked. As far as I see it, it can't hurt and might help!
