@HoneyPea I'm so sorry you have started spotting. Spotting doesn't necessarily mean miscarriage though, this board has seen a few ladies previously spot and have gone on to have successful pregnancies. If you start bleeding, then that likely is a miscarriage but see what happens over the next few days. With my miscarriages, I spotted and then bleed the next day so was fairly conclusive.

@LuckyMoonstone ah boo. Maybe today though? At least the numbers are going up!! 🤞

bunnykins123 · 24/07/2022 12:40

@Indianna2006 that's totally understandable, I do agree a MN break can actually be really helpful. Hope to see you back here again soon 💕💕

calimc83 · 24/07/2022 13:03

@HoneyPea it could be implantation? I had this after a positive BFP in the past x

HoneyPea · 24/07/2022 14:01

@bunnykins123 It is more than spotting but not as heavy as a period. I have put a pad on to monitor how much.
@calimc83 I thought about this then thought it would probably be too late as AF was due Weds so I would be 17 DPO?
@MrsCristiano DH has been telling me we need to go to the DR but I don't think they will do much apart from telling me to do a test in a week or so

LuckyMoonstone · 24/07/2022 14:06

MrsCristiano · 24/07/2022 12:17

@HoneyPea I'm sorry for this worry. I miscarried at exactly 6 weeks but had been spotting since 5 weeks. Really the only reason I was scanned is because pregnancy tests kept getting darker and clear blue edged up to 2-3 while the spotting was happening so I was at a bit of a loss. And I had miscarried before. It might not be bad for you I don't think it always means a loss.

@Indianna2006 I'm sorry to hear this but do understand. Take care lovely ❤️

Right girls waiting to ovulate let's do this @LuckyMoonstone @Astar21 @pangolin84 @curliegirlie @mummatara (and anyone I've forgotten) 🤞😘

Yesss come on now O 🤞 what CD are we all on? I’m on 22. Last month I Od on 18 so I’m a little bit late but if it happens soon it won’t concern me too much

LuckyMoonstone · 24/07/2022 14:10

Gonna struggle to find a good time to test today, I couldn’t test last time I went to the loo as it hadn’t been long enough. I can wait now but only til half 3ish as we are going out, that’ll only be a 2 hour hold though. And I’ll be having a few drinks whilst out as well so that’s no good for testing. Maybe have one last wee at about 7 and then test before bed at like 10/11 😂😂 why the hell do I have to plan my bloody toilet trips now 🤣

MrsCristiano · 24/07/2022 14:24

@HoneyPea yea I'm not sure there's much point in going now..are you anywhere foreign? I just don't know though do what feels right for you both.

@LuckyMoonstone defo do a half 3 opk! Im CB8 but have never ovulated past CD14 although im sure covid has messed my cycles up🙄 the gift that keeps giving

LuckyMoonstone · 24/07/2022 14:34

@MrsCristiano oh no, it might do, I don’t know whether covid does or not (when I had it I was pregnant with DS so obviously not ovulating). When I had the jab it did affect my cycle, but only for one.

LuckyMoonstone · 24/07/2022 14:35

I wish I was an early ovulater, I could’ve squeezed in one or two more cycles so far this year 😅

MrsCristiano · 24/07/2022 14:46

@LuckyMoonstone unfortunately for me more AFs! once when I was tracking I didn't ovulate at all..got AF a week early 🙄 a 21 day cycle 😂

mummatara · 24/07/2022 15:00

@LuckyMoonstone I'm CD14 but have O anywhere between CD9 and CD24 in the past 🙄

bunnykins123 · 24/07/2022 15:01

@LuckyMoonstone have you thought about using CB OPKs? I do find them clearer than cheapie OPKs and seem to be pretty accurate. They do take the guess work out of ttc but it ends up getting pricey.

@HoneyPea I didn't go to GP after my 1st but everyone is different. If you don't bleed, they will likely send you to the epu around 6 weeks but won't do much before then. If anything, speak to them tomorrow just for some advice perhaps?

@MrsCristiano covid made my period way heavier BUT I conceived the cycle after it so maybe there is a bit of magic there?! I also conceived every time after having the vaccine...🤔

Astar21 · 24/07/2022 15:25

@LuckyMoonstone planning toilet trips 🤣 what is life!! I'm on CD16 now. I feel like it's going to be a late ovulation for me this month too!

I also conceived the cycle after having covid too 🤔 Who knows what it does to our bodies.

MrsCristiano · 24/07/2022 15:29

Gave in. Did an OPK 0.11. These comments about conceiving after covid are making me feel positive 😊

pangolin84 · 24/07/2022 16:37

@HoneyPea Sorry you’re having to go through such a worrying time. My first miscarriage happened naturally at 6 weeks and I went from spotting to period-like bleeding very quickly (only a couple of hours max) and the cramps were also very painful.

pangolin84 · 24/07/2022 16:44

@LuckyMoonstone I’m on CD17 and the OPKs are staying around 0.2. I’ve had EWCM for few days so thought the LH surge would be imminent. Flashing smileys for 7 days now! I usually ovulate around day 16 so this is already a late one. Mind you it was day 22 last cycle (the one after the MC) so who knows! I’ve been very stressed at work recently so might be delayed because of that.
Just wish it would hurry up, getting tired 😂

calimc83 · 24/07/2022 17:31

@HoneyPea yeah same happened with them. Was around 17dpo ish. I think it lasted around 36hrs. Was just old brownish blood. I wore a pad, wasn't heavy but definitely enough to need a pad x

LuckyMoonstone · 24/07/2022 17:42

@pangolin84 oh mine have been aaaaall over the place since MC so that’s totally normal.

@Astar21 it’s ridiculous isn’t 😂 can’t wait to be in the TWW, it’s less stressful!

@bunnykins123 I did use them earlier this year, for a couple of cycles. I know lots of people prefer them to the cheap opks but I wasn’t too keen, I like to see the lines getting darker.

i did an OPK at about half 3 and it wasn’t even worth putting in my app, it was quite light. But my wee was not good quality lol. But we have been DTD regularly so if I do miss my peak I’ll still be able to keep an eye on ovulation with my BBT and hopefully we DTD enough to catch it!

DrinkingAllTheGin · 24/07/2022 21:27

AF turned up today. I've been getting a fairly regular 27 day cycle but this month is 33 days
I guess at least it means ovulation will be when DH is home again.

mummatara · 24/07/2022 21:33

@DrinkingAllTheGin sorry to hear AF turned up but good timing for next O 🤞🏼

DrinkingAllTheGin · 24/07/2022 21:57

@mummatara I mainly hope she doesn't hang around too long. DH will have been gone 3 weeks! Back Friday.

MrsCristiano · 24/07/2022 22:35

@DrinkingAllTheGin sorry about AF but at least it's out of the way for DH coming home. I'm sure you miss him loads. It's the limbo between a bfn and AF arriving drives me insane xx

bunnykins123 · 25/07/2022 08:48

@DrinkingAllTheGin sorry to hear AF arrived 😥

@LuckyMoonstone that's fair enough, they are defo not for everyone. If it wasn't for the fact that I like definitively knowing I'm about to peak, I would probably sack them off as they are so expensive. How's your opks looking today?

@pangolin84 I get EWCM for days before I get flashies! It's really confusing. I've had seriously good EWCM for 8 days in the past 🤦‍♀️

bunnykins123 · 25/07/2022 08:55

Gals, can I ask a question? I'm going through tests as the moment to try and figure out if my body is just totally crap or if there is more to me miscarrying so much.

One of the questions I had was if I get painful ovulation. I do. It hurts so bad on the day - it's like a band around my pelvis and can be really painful to walk/cough when I'm in the thick of it. Pelvis can feel tender too. The consultant wants to do a MRI to see if it's endometriosis. I don't have any other signs of endo, periods are uneventful and not painful.

I'm a bit nervous about having a MRI as it feels pretty invasive (I know it's not but it feels like a fairly big thing given it's not giving me too many issues and I've always had this, even pre DD) and wondering if I should cancel to have ultrasounds done first.

My question is: do any of you have painful O like this? I know I'm really lucky to be offered this but equally don't want to have a pretty major scan if this is fairly normal.

I don't know. Helpppps please.

LuckyMoonstone · 25/07/2022 09:54

Well my OPK is rubbish this morning, 0.14. I usually get my peak on an evening, and I haven’t done any evening tests this weekend. So I could have missed it… but even so I usually get a bit of a stronger line before and after the peak, so I’m not sure. All I can do now is see what my BBT does, if I have missed my peak then it should carry on going up (it’s up a bit this morning)

@bunnykins123 no I don’t have bad pain like that, just some mild cramps. I’d take the scan if I were you, I would rather know what was going on. You’ll be fine.
