Just starting this as last thread nearly full💕🌈

@mummyofrb it's so hard when AF arrives, especially when you felt you did everything right. Pregnancy announcements are hard, I feel like everyone is pregnant at the moment!

@FfayeN it's probably nothing to worry about, try not to worry too much (easier said than done, I know!) are you using clear blue or just strips? I find the strips on their own quite confusing!

@Indianna2006 that's really interesting! I might give it a go but my only worry is that it'll add to the stress of it all which is something I'm trying to reduce as it's sky high at the moment. I guess the key is to keep practicing with it even outside of fertile window to nail it in advance. Do you temp as well?

@bunnykins123 I have temped previously yes. Wasn’t whilst we were ttc before other than one cycle to confirm I was ovulating as my cycle is so predictable. But I’ve been temping since mc so I could work out what was going on. An maybe continue this cycle just so I see if my cycle goes back to normal.

usually I ovulate CD13 and get my period CD27. I’m now CD10 so 🤞🏼

yes it’s just practice. And you’ll get it. I can’t imagine it will add much anxiety. It’s just trying to give them a helping hand. An it’s takes seconds once you get the hang of it x

@bunnykins123 just the OPKs, I just did another and it's low again now so they are working, it's just my body being difficult! I'll also have to give the fertilily a go when we start TTC again, sounds like it's worth a try!

@FfayeN you could have just had your peak? What cd day are you on? Haha yeh it sounds promising but knowing my luck I'll make such a mess of it that will mean I stand no chance conceiving using it 😂

@Indianna2006 how soon do you get the temp rise after a positive opk? I sometimes don't get it for a while later plus if I retake my temp it's a different number. So I'm not sure I really trust the way I'm doing it 😂 thanks for the heads up regarding the fertility I may just give it a whirl this month!

Ovulation can be any time 12-44 hours after peak apparently! Normally within 24 so I would imagine your rise would be the day after or one after your predicted ovulation day. I think I just plateaud on a high OPK which can happen too according to Google 🤣. I'm CD 17 and think I ovulated yesterday so it's about right, nothing too drastic. Hopefully timed right for my CERM appt next week. It's all a lot of what's and if's and as a planner by nature its so hard to stay level headed and patient with it all. @FfayeN @Indianna2006 @bunnykins123 thankyou all🤍 I think just super emotional and colleagues pregnancy announcement finished me off, I actually sobbed! I've had a wallow now so onto next cycle now, I feel like giving up because of the mental strain but I know will all be worth it in the end💕🌈

@mummyofrb I totally understand how you feel. I've had moments this month when I considered not trying this month to let things settle down a bit as it's defo taking its toll. Wine helps!

@FfayeN good luck this month! That's good to know, I always assumed it was 24th after peak but I have had a few days post peak to get a temp increase so perhaps that's why. It's a minefield! I wish there was an accurate way to tell us that O was happening 😂

@Cdoc @bunnykins123 @calimc83 thankyou all I had a cry yesterday feeling more positive now think I have to stop putting so much pressure on thinking I'll be ok again once I'm pregnant again. I'm still pretty traumatised from mmc and obviously my body hasn't been ready yet. Also tmi but have you guys had really heavy periods since miscarriage? Mine have been awful!

@mummyofrb @Astar21 @Indianna2006 hi all, so I’m on day 20 of this cycle and no flashing smiley or solid smiley on my CB ovulation tests. Also really minimal to no cervical mucous which for me, like last cycle, is unusual. My first proper cycle after my MC felt normal up to ovulation, starting to wonder whether I might have had a chemical or something that cycle and it’s thrown me off again. Just feeling frustrated and disheartened as don’t know what’s going on with my body! Xx

@Totoro1234 that's exactly how I am just having little to no ovulation signs, I'm not using ovulation tests just tracking symptoms etc. it's so frustrating just hoping will right itself soon still early days for all of us x

@mummyofrb i know, it’s really frustrating and I’m just convinced I’m not going to ovulate, like I was pretty sure I didn’t ovulate last cycle. Just need to keep calm and patient (easier said than done!) thank you for replying, nice to know I’m not alone!

@calimc83 I'm worried it means I haven't been ovulating! Aw bless you how long have you had off? I had 3 weeks because mine coincided with school hols I was really panicky but it wasn't bad at all and gave me abit of a focus and reason to get ready in the morning which I needed after weeks in pjs and unwashed hair. Does anyone at your work know? Xxx

Hi ladies. I'm now about 4 months post D&C, my first period was AWFUL! so heavy and about a week long (I did bleed for about 3 weeks after the procedure). My cycles have all been different since and this month my ovulation was weird and actually a little painful. What I will say is the strips are great but sometimes not accurate, my best mate got pregnant and that cycle her highest OPK was 0.5. Apparently it only needs to surge 2 times your baseline to trigger ovulation. This gave me a lot of hope that all is not lost! Everyone is different and trust me I am the worst over analyser and over thinker. I think the only way to know for sure is temping. Keep going, all this heartache and worry will hopefully come good one day and if not, know that you're not alone in it. We are all here to support you xx

@mummyofrb I think really light periods mean u may not be ovulating? But I could be wrong..ahh I think I'll be ok once once I'm back. It's just the thought of it if u know what I mean? Yeah my manager is aware and a couple of close friends/colleague xx

@FfayeN hi, that’s really interesting about the OPK tests. Test line got very slightly darker last month (was just using cheap home bargain sticks) and I just assumed it was negative given no EWCM either but maybe I did ovulate as it was around 14 or so days before my period. GP told me to not use OPK’s. Despite the negative results back n the CB digital tests we’ve still been TTC, the tests just give us an idea. If we aren’t success this month, I think I’m going to pack in the OPK’s. Thank you so much for the support, it’s been a rough few months xx

@Totoro1234 aw that's ok, I am a Google nightmare and research everything, downside is there's a lot of conflicting info out there! It's a rough ride and I am one for over testing and getting obsessed with OPKs, I have considered the temping devices Mira or Ovusense, to take away the temptation and then I'd definitely know I'd ovulated so that may be worth looking into? We're still waiting for some results before spending out and going 100% TTC again xx

I’ve had my surge for OPK today ladies so will be on dtd later. Dtd yesterdays morning too so fingers crossed. I normally feel ovulation pain but nothing yet. But could be tomo it actually happens as yet.

so frustrating when you just trying work out what’s going on.

so many ppl miss there surges too if don’t test twice in a day! Or even 3!

Just to add to the weirdness, day 20 of my cycle today and I think I’ve started my period. So that makes my last 3 cycles since MC- 28 days, 37 days and now 20 days! Almost positive I haven’t ovulated the last 2 cycles. 20 days seems way too short. I’m feeling upset and deflated again. Praying things start to normalise and not sure if I should go to the docs to ask for more blood tests. Waiting on an US to have a look at things but had one after my MC in Feb which was fine.

@Totoro1234 definitely just have a full blood count with your GP, my first miscarriage triggered underactive thyroid (hashimotos) and I was having 17-21 day cycles (just one of the symptoms) but worth making sure so if it is anything you can get it sorted. I total empathise, so frustrating, sending hugs xx

@FfayeN hey, thanks so much for responding. I had my thyroid checked and full blood count a few weeks ago with my GP and all fine thankfully. Was thinking more hormone tests. My androgen/ SGHB/ testosterone was all fine. All frustrating! Will see if period continues over the next few days xx

I'm currently CD14...thought my OPKs were climbing today, but now seem to be lighter again? Is it most likely that I missed my peak, or is this more likely a failed attempt at ovulation?

I'm guessing the next few days temping will confirm which...fervently hoping it's the former.

@curliegirlie I'm by no means an expert but I reckon you ovulated around day 14!
