@LuckyMoonstone sorry your struggling. I’ve been down the last few days as well and can’t seem to shake it. And can’t seem to think about much else either.
time goes sooooo slow doesn’t it. Make it almost unbearable sometimes.

we’re here for a moan and a chat. None of this is easy. Ttc is hard enough without timelines of another pregnancy you had in the background. 💞

5DPO. Ugh. Feel like it’s hopeless already. Why does it take some ppl months and months to fall?! And other poof. Pisses me off 😩😂

bunnykins123 · 13/07/2022 08:53

@LuckyMoonstone take all the time you need, it can be triggering being on these forums. For what it's worth, you're not alone, I feel the same. Ttc has become riddled with anxiety and isn't any fun anymore. We are here for you if you just want to rant 💕

@Chellooo grab yourself a Basel thermometer off Amazon or boots and basically as soon as you wake up, pop the thermometer under your tongue and record the reading. Not sure why but it needs to be taken as soon as you wake up (I often forget!)

@Indianna2006 haha should have put a TMI disclaimer on my last post 😂 I didn't try again last night, maybe I'll try tonight with some pre seed. It just seems so BIG. I had a c section so maybe that's why my foo-foo is so unaccommodating 😂 also totally agree about seeing people all over social media falling pregnant by just looking at their partners. I have a friend who had a baby and then conceived 2 months later. Two.months!!!

@curliegirlie are your temps up again today? I've had a few jumpy temps the past few days which I put down to this heat. How the heck are you supposed to temp when it's this hot 🥵 my cycles started doing the same thing, I start testing as soon as AF has finished, I am now CD11 and have 4 days worth of squinters but at least I know I haven't missed my surge!

@mummatara leave it, leeeeave it 😂 thing is, you need to allow your body that little bit longer to shift that residual amount so giving it a few weeks will stand you a better chance of seeing a negative. Are you drinking gallons of yucky green tea and exercising in this heat?!

Tor88 · 13/07/2022 09:04

@LuckyMoonstone sending you loads of love, it's all the absolute pits xxx

mummatara · 13/07/2022 09:37

@bunnykins123 😂 haha I've been good and left it tbh the arrival of AF has made me a bit less obsessive with testing! I'll def test before O day though.

I have not exercised in this heat DS has decided he doesn't like going to sleep anymore so that's eaten into exercise time anyway 🤦🏼‍♀️ I'm drinking plenty of green tea though I actually quite like it. I'll do a bit of yoga with the fan on tonight DH can deal with the non sleeping child 🙊

@LuckyMoonstone sending love ❤️ we're here if you need us

curliegirlie · 13/07/2022 09:43

@Chellooo I completely recommend Fertility Friend app for plugging your temp data in. It seems so much more responsive than say Premom. For example, because I had a few high temps it was telling me that I may have ovulated around CD11-13 (caveating that a missing day meant it couldn't be sure), and now after a further high temp this morning it's pin-pointed it down to CD12. Premom on the other hand seems to ignore it when OPK data conflicts with its default predicted ov day.

@LuckyMoonstone hang in there!

@bunnykins123 yes - FF now agrees that I must have ovulated on CD12 so I'm now officially 6DPO 🎉 I don't know whether to be happy that that means that April was probably a proper cycle too or pissed off that that despite lots of relaxed Easter holiday DTD I still didn't catch...

LuckyMoonstone · 13/07/2022 10:23

Thank you everyone I appreciate your thoughts, thanks for all being so lovely to me. I feel so rubbish atm, like I’m dragging everyone down and no one can stand me anymore 😔 I don’t know why it’s hit me so hard all of a sudden. The last couple of months I’ve been alright. But when my last AF came it was like my heart breaking all over again and I can’t get myself out of this depression.

LuckyMoonstone · 13/07/2022 10:39

Oh and I had a dream last night that I did like 6 pregnancy tests and they were all positive and I couldn’t stop staring at them all…. Really mean of my brain to do that 😤

emhope · 13/07/2022 10:43

Hi, I’m new to this thread I think (although lost track as there are so many!)

I’m 35 and TTC after an MMC at 10 weeks in April. 3rd cycle since and yet another month of BFN’s 😞 AF due tomorrow and I’m just feeling so down and sad. I know 3 cycles isn’t much but I just can’t stand not being pregnant and I literally can’t seem to focus on anything else and even finding it hard to concentrate at work now. I’ve been using OPK’s and got the clear blue ones last month so was feeling really hopeful. I just don’t seem to have that hope anymore..

Any tips for how to keep positive?

TheBirdintheCave · 13/07/2022 12:40

@emhope

All I've been doing is focusing on other things and trying to forget about TTC. We've been doing the garden up this month (it's gone from dirt patch to actually quite nice in a short space of time) and I booked another holiday in September so I've got planning to do for that.

We're pretty similar in terms of our stories! I'm also 35, had a MMC in April at nine weeks and have just had BFNs every month since.

Indianna2006 · 13/07/2022 17:47

@emhope sorry to find yourself here. I had mmc at 9 weeks in April too. What a sucky thing it is. All you can do is try focus on other things. But it’s so hard I know. I’m in a bit of a blip but had been okay up until now. Trying to shake it off. the more we think about the worse we make ourselves I think.

@curliegirlie oh yay for confirmation of ovulation! That’s good. An also prob is good thing about your other cycle. Hopefully it will be soon for you. 🤞🏼

@bunnykins123 haha yes must be the c section saved your foofoo 🤣 have another go! Are you putting some sperm friendly lubricant on it first. Might help it erm..ahem..slip in as such 😂😂🙈
I am praying that little device has worked this month so the sperm could find a good egg.

come on 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Astar21 · 13/07/2022 21:56

@Tor88 sorry to hear the pains were so bad 😩 might it be worth going to see your GP and mentioning how severe they've been? And see if they can refer to have it looked into. I do remember having weird sharp pains after my first MC.
So I bought the Vitabiotics ultra omega 3 with high purity fish oil capsules off Amazon. They seem like good ones to give a go 🤞🏼 I've also cut out coffee and switched to decaf tea. And trying to eat a healthy/balanced diet!
Its hard mentally getting your head around trying again. But when ovulation time comes you probably won't want to give the opportunity amiss! My DH works away so when he's home during peak fertile time we can't not try

mummatara · 14/07/2022 11:08

Hospital did another blood test yesterday despite AF showing up. Level is now 24, was 38 last week but they don't know I did a private one. They want to do another tomorrow to check it's not gone up I highly doubt it is a new pregnancy though we haven't been careful 🙈 still going strong on the green tea.

We booked our honeymoon for the end of August so I'm now going to try and eat less naughty chocolate and sweets because I've been on a feeling sorry for myself train and the weight has piled on 🤦🏼‍♀️

Anyone tried the SMEP plan? I only heard of it the other day it sounds exhausting 😂

LuckyMoonstone · 14/07/2022 12:39

@mummatara i have read about the smep plan but I don’t think we could keep up 😂

mummatara · 14/07/2022 12:54

@LuckyMoonstone I know we def couldn't 😂

emhope · 14/07/2022 13:30

AF due today but still not here, hoping it’s not too late as just want to be onto the next cycle now! Feeling a little better today (after a good cry yesterday!) and now more positive about trying again this cycle. Hope everyone else is good 😊

mummatara · 14/07/2022 13:37

@emhope a good cry always helps ❤️ have you tested at all? I'm on CD4 today my first cycle after MC and when AF came it really felt refreshing like starting again though if we don't get a BFP for a while I won't think it's refreshing I'm sure 🙈

emhope · 14/07/2022 13:51

@mummatara yes I have been testing and all BFN’s so 99.99999% sure I’m out just need AF now! Yes first AF after MMC I actually felt ok about, as felt good body was getting back to normal to start trying again but then 2nd AF was a real disappointment to get! And now just really want this 3rd one here and over with 😬

I have to say this has all made me reflect and really appreciate how easily and quickly I have fallen pregnant in the past (all 3 times on first month trying) and how lucky I am to have my 2 children already ❤️

mummatara · 14/07/2022 14:01

@emhope oh thats rubbish ☹️ I hope it turns up soon for you then 🤞🏼 or even better a late BFP!

I caught on cycle 2 with my son and we weren't actively trying with the last one so I'm hoping that my body bounces back quickly and we get lucky 🤞🏼 I'm 37 in Nov and that ticking clock is always in the back of your mind 🙈

Astar21 · 14/07/2022 14:03

@mummatara have also read about smep but it seems you start early in the cycle. I'd rather wait and make sure we have the energy to cover the high fertile days 😂
Last time we conceived we DTD 5 days in a row covering the flashing and peak smileys on CB digital ovulation tests. So that's the plan again this month!

mummatara · 14/07/2022 14:18

@Astar21 yes you start on CD8 and then every other day I think DH might die from exhaustion if I try jump him that much 😂

I've got my CB tests ready for this cycle and like you will just DTD around then. I haven't used them before I used strip opks but they drove me insane trying to analyse them last time. I do have some left so might use those in the evenings.

Astar21 · 14/07/2022 14:41

@mummatara 🤣 yes cd8 is too early for my liking! I really like the CB digital ones, they're so easy and simple to use. And you get a clear result. I just did once a day with fmu. What CD are you on now?

mummatara · 14/07/2022 14:51

@Astar21 that's what made me spend the pennies it's easy for me to do FMU and can't go wrong with a solid or flashing smiley no having to interpret that 😂 I'm CD4 today it's hard to know when to start testing as my cycles range from 24-31 days 🙄 so think I'm going to have to start early maybe CD6 like they suggest incase it's a short one. Feels like wasting tests though 🤦🏼‍♀️

mummatara · 14/07/2022 14:56

@Astar21 what CD are you?

Astar21 · 14/07/2022 15:33

@mummatara yes they're worth the extra pennies to take the extra stress out of it! And I get all happy when I see the flashing/static smileys 🤣
I'm on CD 6 now. My cycles tend to average at 30 days. First month I used them I started on CD11 and got 3 days of low before flashing. So the next month I didn't start them until CD 13. And I got 1 day of low, 2 flashy and then peak. Though my cycles have been a bit shorter since the last MC, so not sure what's going to happen this cycle.

mummatara · 14/07/2022 15:44

@Astar21 oh we're fairly close then. Think I'm def going to start testing early this is my first one post MMC so no idea what to expect. I did buy the 20 pack incase 😂
