Biopsy results are in and I'm positive for Endometrisis, chronic inflammation of the uterus. Not sure how much this affects pregnancy or miscarriage and Google has hardly any info on it so to be on the safe side we are withdrawing from the CERM trial and privately getting Doxycycline. That means no TTC this cycle...another month to wait and then we should be good to go. I hate all the waiting and just want to start trying 😩

FfayeN · 08/07/2022 16:45

Welcome @Tor88 , sorry to hear of your losses. I don't have any experience sadly, my chemical became AF within a day or two. It's so hard to be patient and not get obsessive isn't it xx

Indianna2006 · 08/07/2022 17:24

CD13 and thought I’d got my peak yesterday afternoon on my opk but clearblue gave me flashing smiley. Kept testing and seemed I may have peak this afternoon as clearblue gave me static this morning.

clesrblue and cheap ones seem to give me bit diff. Clearblue seems to detect it earlier for me for some reason. Same as last month.

or I presume from my opks?! The brand I use seems to of changed them. They normally come up much bolder. Even control line. Where as this are more wishy washy. Even the control line. Weird. But guess it’s still reads the same. Some cycle I have numbers higher than that but only if I catch the right point.

usually I get one sided pain same day as my surge. So hoping it is today as he went this morning.

then we managed -3,-1 and O day so 🤞🏼

@Indianna2006 good luck lovely into the torturous TWW 🤞

@FfayeN how did you find out about the chronic inflammation of the uterus? Was it just a blood test?

FfayeN · 08/07/2022 19:14

@MrsGrealish
No, I self referred to the Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Recurrent Miscarriage unit as they are doing a trial and research into it. (I also thought at the time they were doing NK cell research, which they do but it's a different process with a different professor). They diagnose both through a uterine biopsy xx

FfayeN · 08/07/2022 19:23

@MrsGrealish Sorry I must add, they do say there are people that have it and still carry a healthy pregnancy, the trial is to see how much it affects recurrent loss by offering a 50/50 doxy vs placebo and looking at the results (probably next year) x

MrsGrealish · 08/07/2022 19:26

@FfayeN My last 2 miscarriages I've felt like my body rejecting the pregnancy. Like severe cramping early on. It's probably my imagination though. My mind does go into overdrive when im not busy but I've always wondered about this

FfayeN · 08/07/2022 19:36

@MrsGrealish Do you mean painful cramping? Do you have anything in your normal cycle? Are you under a recurrent miscarriage unit? My local one took a while to come through but she was really helpful. I have decided to take the antibiotics by purchasing privately through Superdrug, I know a few others have without even having the biopsy "just incase". I'm not saying I advocate that but some people want to try what they can, how they can (especially if finances are an issue to go down the private route of tests). Happy to message you separately if you want any info x

FfayeN · 08/07/2022 20:06

@MrsGrealish
This is a great piece of research (once you get your head around the lingo!)

MrsGrealish · 08/07/2022 20:16

@FfayeN just painful when I'm pregnant. Nothing too bad on a normal cycle. I'm in Northern Ireland so I don't know if that makes a difference with zero government🙄The last epu appointment was wait til your next period to try again. That's it. I've read about doxycycline on one of Google rabbit holes. I would defo think about going privately, just trying to sort my head out first 😘

FfayeN · 08/07/2022 20:18

@MrsGrealish I'm sorry they weren't too helpful. Feel free to reach out when you have the head space lovely 😘. xx

Astar21 · 08/07/2022 22:35

Hi ladies,
Jumping back in after a bit of time out.

@calimc83 congratulations on your BFP ❤️ really hope this one is a sticky bean for you! ✨

@Tor88 I'm in a similar boat to you. I'm 34 & have been ttc our first since October last year, with a MMC in Jan & a natural MC in May. Feels like the worst year so far. Trying not to let it take over life but it's hit me hard. Fingers crossed AF doesn't show for you 🤞🏼

Tor88 · 08/07/2022 23:53

@Astar21 oh I'm so sorry for your losses 🧡 We've been on a very similar timeline!! I started trying in Oct last year also. First got pg in Dec and miscarried in Feb, then again in May and miscarried in June. I still can't quite believe that this is what 2022 has been?! It's so cruel, I'm so glad I had no idea what was what was in store...

Are you doing any testing or just cracking on with ttc?? Are you worrying about your age, or finding that ok?? I feel like we shouldn't worry at 34 but at the same time i constantly find myself calculating how old I'll be at birth if I conceive in x month, and therefore how old I'll be for my second pregnancy. Its a minefield 😵‍💫🥴

Cheetocat · 09/07/2022 01:31

Did some HCG tests over the past few days which were negative and then got AF today a couple of days early, I had some spotting yesterday and the day before which never happened before my MC. I feel like I'm in a new body with a new cycle after what I went through with a MMC at 3 months. Anyone else feel like that?

I'm a bit disappointed but I didn't really expect success in the first month at the same time. So back to square 1 now, CD1 and hoping for BFP in August.

Indianna2006 · 09/07/2022 09:28

Ovulation pain last night and temp shot up over night so back into tww 🤞🏼

AF due 22nd July.

@Cheetocat first month after is hard I think. But depends how high expectations are at falling. If people always fall quick it’s higher I guess.

hope you ladies all okay xx

ballet-shoes · 09/07/2022 09:38

@Cheetocat I totally get that. You spend years getting to know how your body works and what your cycles are like and then feel like you're starting from square one!

Weird you say that re spotting: I had that once yesterday morning and thought it was AF but doesn't seem to have materialised into anything (although, famous last words!)
Still waiting for 1st AF post MC ...

calimc83 · 09/07/2022 18:05

@Astar21 thank you lovely! 😊 @Indianna2006 eek! How u feeing about the 2ww? X

Indianna2006 · 09/07/2022 18:35

@calimc83 trying not to get my hopes up too much but just bloody want it to work!

feel a mixture of took so long to fall originally. But then to fall again straight away after but have chemical. Don’t make any sense in my head lol.

not sure whether to feel like I have a real chance or not or will it be months and months again.

i used ferti Lily again tho conception cup. And didn’t fall last month using it. But other two times I have. So praying this conception is much faster than 11 bloody cycles!! I have no patience for that now!

🤞🏼🤞🏼 Gonna be a long bloody two weeks again

Maxime34 · 09/07/2022 20:06

Hi everyone, I've been reading a lot of your posts over the last few weeks and found I relate to so many of you. So sorry for what you've all been through, it is truly heartbreaking. I've had two back to back MC this year after starting trying for #2 in March. It's all very confusing but I'm trying to stay positive and I think being a part of this community will really help. Sending lots of strength to you all.

Greymalkin12 · 09/07/2022 20:29

Would love to join this thread and sorry to everyone for your losses. I've had four in the last two years (however have a 4 yo), now in the two week wait for the first cycle we've tried since a miscarriage in April. I wondered what supplements people are taking? I've generally just taken a prenatal vitamin when I've remembered but this time I've just started taking more: seven seas pre-conception one, vit D, Q10 and omega 3. No idea if it will make any difference but can't imagine it will hurt...

ASwimInAPondInTheRain · 09/07/2022 20:47

Hi @Greymalkin12 I'm sorry for your loss. I think you left me a very kind reply in another thread, thank you ♥️
I'm taking the same supps as you (diff brand of prenatal vits)- I hope they'll be kind to us and help us on our way! I've been taking them for a month or so. Umming and ahhhing about baby aspirin and folate but I think I'll leave those for now.

ASwimInAPondInTheRain · 09/07/2022 20:58

Hi everyone. How long after a chemical will my pregnancy test be negative? I started bleeding 8 days ago at 15 DPO after some v strong BFPs in the preceding days and there's still a faint positive on my strip pg test today.

I tried my ClearBlue ovulation tracker today and it said I was at my peak which seems a bit soon! I wondered if my HCG levels might have confused the ovulation tracker although the line on the pg test is vv faint. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced a faint line after bleeding and when it might disappear? I do not think I'm still pg but I do want to move on from this cp - my 3rd in a row.

Going to take a month off TTC I think to give my body and mind a rest x

calimc83 · 09/07/2022 21:03

@Indianna2006 everything crossed for you!! Are u an early tester or will u try hold on? X

Indianna2006 · 09/07/2022 21:59

@calimc83 usually about 12dpo. Did 10dpo this cycle tho and had a bad indent. So gonna try hold out for like 12/13dpo this time

Astar21 · 09/07/2022 22:24

@Tor88 it's truly heartbreaking. We are absolutely on a very similar timeline! After the 2nd MC I went to my GP & they referred me for basic blood tests, & they all came back normal. I was tempted to go private for further investigations but my GP reassured me how common 2 is & to try again. So that's what we decided to do! Although I'm terrified of it happening again. Have you pursued any testing?
When we first started ttc I wasn't particularly worried about my age, but DH is 41 so that plays on my mind.
Have you tested again today? My AF arrived so CD1 here we go!
